Why endurance to the mountain? A large muscular build needs far more energy and we have never seen any feats of endurance from him. There really aren't any for Arthur Dayne and based on his fast fighting style he shouldn't have that much endurance but the montain has even less with his lage musculard build and heavy lumbering figthing style, wide open attacks and heavy armor.
Low to mid difficulty Obryn was literally dancing circles around the mountain and was in absolute control of the fight and only prolonged the fight because he wanted the mountain to admit what he did and lost because he dropped is guard. If it was a different scenario Oberyn would have won with not much effort. Dane what literally have spanked the mountain

It really isn’t this close. Dayne, Selmy and ser Jaime of house Lannister, warden of the west and lord commander of the kings guard(with a right hand) seem to be the 3 in a league of their own. There are legendary historical figures in S tier with them, but not the mountain. Jaime’s and several other pov chapters give away that the mountain is just a big peasant killer.
If oberyn wasnt seeking answers/retribution/revenge he would win against the mountain easily. And thats Oberyn, a prince and a skilled fighter but nowhere near legendary. Jaime described as one of the best fighters at the time and he would dismantle Oberyn, moreover Jaime looked up to both Selmy and Dayne, he even squired for Selmy in a battle, so its safe to assume they are even more superior then him. And then comes the question between these two, if they fought with regular swords their skills and experience would be on par and it would be a coin toss. But with Dawn? Dayne would win 99 out of 100 times. Dont compare most legendary swordman against a brute whose only strength is well his strengh and his height.
