- Gröna Lund's newest roller coaster opened in June 2021 and it is manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard from Switzerland. Monster reaches a top speed of 90km/h and has 3 inversions over this beautiful and compact amusement park in Stockholm, Sweden.

That is the most Planet Coaster-y final break run I've ever seen on a real coaster
LOL for real tho! 😂
Yes
Lol Everytime.. iykyk
Great to see that B&M is still making inverts
Wow, looks great. Love how it interacts with the park and looks to pull some decent forces as well
That layout looks great and somewhat unique for an invert, and the epic setting of a drop over the water is super cool, great POV!
I can't believe how beautiful this park is and how amazing the engineers for all of their attractions managed to fit their rides into this space. Watch next time Gröna Lund calls B&M it'll be for a Giga 🤣
Nothing can come close to an B&M and it’s infamous roar 😍❤️💙😜😜🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢💯
My favorite part of this is how it comes from and returns underground, much like some sort of otherworldly monster that comes from hell only to return to it's den after its rampage.
You know it’s awesome when the roar is louder than the riders
Great POV! Didn’t know that Gröna Land had a B&M invert; it looks great
its pretty new
I mean it's only been there since June of 2021...so it's not even been operating there for a year yet
It's new and it's the first B&M invert to be built in a long long time
@@brybryguy6314 last one was banshee which was at 2014 i think
Strange seeing an invert without a vertical loop. Looks sweet
Typically flawless B&M coaster--such a beautiful job of fitting an exciting coaster into a tight space.
That's a beautiful B&M! Nice!
Love the layout and how it interacts with the park.
That first drop looks really cool. It's a shame B&M inverts became so oversaturated when they were popular and then basically disappeared, they're worth keeping around
I agree there’s not enough new ones being built. I’m sure they will see their own renaissance eventually.
That’s pretty cool to see a loading/unloading station is underground, I’ve never seen anything like that before
Looks awesome. Grona Lund have made the most effective use of the limited space they have for this ride. Can't wait to ride this epic beauty.
Some cool inversions there! Nothing like a B&M invert to get that adrenaline flowing!
I felt every bank in this video. I'm actually a bit dizzy now. Great video Finncoaster. And great roller coaster ride!
Awww like this 0:42 that laugh, that would have been me at that point too. Looks cool 👍 thanks for sharing.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for not horizon-leveling this POV
That drop looks nuts from the top
I just can’t believe they fit this thing in there. Making space for the supports must have been a nightmare.
Thats why they have what I think is one of the thickest supports on a coaster the whole drop is one support!
Wow such a great ride and a beautiful Amusement Park
Such an unique layout
Kind of amazed they crammed that in there.. knowing B&M, I bet it's a great ride though.
Wow! Great work on filming this too, production quality is on point here 👌
This engineering masterpiece looks insane!!!!
This looks amazing and unbelievably smooth! Seems forceful too.
A great addition to a fantastic park.
Looks really smooth
I think it is a Very intense coaster with rapid curves.. I like it
Superb footage 🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂
I like this one. I'm more of a twist and turn guy than a loop guy.
Great coaster! It's so weird seeing inverts without loops lol
That drop tho sick POV btw
Great video
As if Nemesis starting off with a corkscrew wasn’t weird enough, here we have a coaster which starts with a zero g roll!
Looks pretty good
Best b and m invert layout I've seen
Fury 325 be like: 😐
Steady on.
Nemesis:🤨
@@Th3Sm1ler I take that back I meant b and m invert lol
It’s not even as whippy as old school B&Ms which is my biggest critique with new school B&Ms
It's not whippy at all. It honestly looks boring AF.
@@Gan596 I noticed on RCDB that almost all of the old 90s B&Ms had Werner Stengel the guy who designed the layouts for stuff like el toro, maverick, ispeed, stormrunner, dragster, and Superman the ride and after RCDB stopped listing that he designed them the B&Ms that followed weren’t as whippy as their 90s counterparts so maybe he’s responsible for why old school B&M is special and better than what we have now
@@theunknown0887 that makes sense, I just wish the newcomers had the ability to replicate what made the company so great in the first place.
The very first B&M invert with no loop.
YAYY THE MODEL IS BACKKKK BABY
Looks like the Batman ride at Six Flags Over Texas
Wow what was that purple and white one in the background? Looked crazy
Such a shame. The fun in inversions, especially B&M inversions, was their whip. Now you might as well be taking a gentle stroll through the park on a Sunday.
This coaster is like Alpengeist's second half made into an entire ride.
B&M went soft - where's Stengel when you need him.
Looks like a good ride but a bit short. Also doesn't have the same whip that Raptor and Montu have that makes their inversions so snappy.
try to make a long outanding coaster in Gröna Lund.
0:42 is that one of those junior immelman elements?
I didn’t realise Gotenks was riding
Is this the only B&M invert without a vertical loop?
Technically, yes. There are a couple, only 2-seat accross B&M family "inverts" but technically there the vekoma equilevant to "suspended coaster" since they are way smaller and have no loops. So according to and for all intents and purposes, this is the 1st B&M without a vertical loop. Old layout plans showed them trying to fit it in, but I guess they gave up trying after years and years of planning. Still looks like a great coaster.
Seems weird to carry that amount of speed and just do zero g rolls or corkscrews and no other elements with the inversions, still a nice layout & good use of minimal space
That looks AWESOME! How come the US got all of the second tier inverts😂
They don’t? Have you ridden Montu, Alpengeist, Raptor, Afterburn, Banshee, Talon, any of the Batmans or Dragon Challenge?
@@triple7marc not every one of those, no. But several. The only ones that hold a candle are Montu and Alpengeist now that dragon challenge is defunct. Europe’s inverts have different elements and utilize terrain expertly. Ours have mostly cookie cutter elements (especially those Batmans) and aren’t too uniquely built in their terrain settings.
@@kaijohnson5033 My man, there are literally only 8 B&M inverts in all of Europe. The only elite ones are Katun and Nemesis, and Black Mamba and OzIris are on the same level as most American ones. What makes B&M Inverts great ARE those “cookie cutter elements” you speak of - the whippy zero-g rolls, the corkscrews, the vertical loops… Europe’s inverts are hardly unique in those aspects. I will give you the terrain point, though.
Cmon man Raptor and Afterburn are fantastic, Montu is a legend
Is this the only invert w/o a loop?
Technically, yes. There are a couple, only 2-seat accross B&M family "inverts" but technically there the vekoma equilevant to "suspended coaster" since they are way smaller and have no loops. Has it got a super short height restriction? Sounded like a toddler sat behind you! 🤯
Seems to be 140 cm.
Too much twisting seems like that is all it is? Sometimes they do that because they have very little room. At night it must be a lot scarier...
About 10% as scary as Tatsu in LA!!!
When did B&M’s become so quite?
when they started building it right downtown and fill it with sand for all the neighbors' sake
@@KackUp94 nah, I know that, the first ride filled with sand being leviathan, but like, the chain lift, the breaks, everything is so quite
Why are there demons in the background
It's called Monster for a good reason :D
@@finncoaster2384 Ah
Nemesis
There was no space for an invert - they built one anyway.
Almost like a kiddy B&M. Nice theming and concept, though.
It looks fun but doesn’t have intensity like there old ones
first few valleys look like they provide great positives tbh but i just wish there was the whip of the old ones
This looks great. I love your channel. Great video.
Check out Taylor's grand adventures for great travel videos and more
Kinda boring nemisies at thorpe park better
Weak! Lol
