  • Front on-ride POV, CANNIBAL Roller Coaster, Cannibal is Lagoon's most thrilling ride and a World-class thrill ride. Designed and Built in-house, a very rare move by today's standard and especially at a regional theme park, Cannibal delivers an incredibly smooth layout with new inversions and an enclosed and hidden lift system, to make it one of the best attractions in the West! The "Lagoon Roll" is a one of a kind element featuring two heartline rolls with a direction change in the middle. #Lagoon #RollerCoaster #Cannibal #Utah #LoganUtah #ThemePark #AmusementPark
It features a 140-foot tall inverted loop, water features, and a double elevator-style scary lift system. Riders travel at a max of 70mph. Enthusiasts travel from all around the World to this widely-unknown theme park in Utah to ride what is considered one of the most unique roller coasters. Located mountainside, this beautiful park is one of the most pictures locations for a theme park or amusement park ever built. Lagoon in Farmington, Utah, USA built this ride in-house with help from Intamin. We almost forgot to mention the insane beyond-vertical drop, 116 degrees!

A few years ago, when Cannibal was pretty new, I was at Lagoon with my grandchildren. Just the three of us. We saw Cannibal take off, and I said, "Look. We will NOT go on that ride." Just reassuring them, because I had previously pressured them to go on rides. They always left those rides happy and eager to go on again. But the impression was set, but I promised them that I would go on ANY ride they wanted to go on. I had no intent to go on that crazy ride. But then...we were walking past it, and my granddaughter stopped. She said out loud to herself, "Those little girls just went on Cannibal..." So as we were walking, I asked, "What should we go on next?" SHE immediately shouted, "CANNIBAL!" And my promise came to mind with horror. I tried not to sound hesitant. "OK!" She and I went on it. With dread in my heart. We finished, got off, and declared it was our most favorite ride EVER.

It’s been a while since I’ve been on a good coaster, but I’ve been a lot of them. This one looks truly outstanding, from the negative angle initial drop, to the great use of loops, down to the corkscrew reversal and tightening up right before entering the station. It’s not just that it has an amazing start, and a lot of elements, it’s that everything looks really well arranged.

This reminds me of a roller coaster my cousins and I went on. It was scary as hell. Pitch black indoor coaster. Didn’t know where the drops were and felt like an eternity. There was an extremely long drop and we had no idea how high we were it felt like miles. Insane coaster. I hated every second of it lol.

Love having Lagoon in our backyard. It's a surprisingly solid park. It's 100+ years old, larger than it looks. It doesn't have the biggest thrill rides, but the rides it has are solid rides. The Coaster is an old woody that is just a hell of a lot of fun. And they have really taken to designing their own rides which is unique and makes it a lot of fun. Can't wait for the enormous mountain they are building on the park's north side to open soon. Looks like it's going to be a step up... coaster+darkride. Cannibal is amazing. Was the steepest drop for a short time I think. But it is freaking smooth as butter. The roll is a lot of fun and unexpected with the direction reverse. Honestly I tell everyone to go to Lagoon. It's a good day of fun.

Absolutely not. This is a very smooth coaster and a one of a kind. The helix at the end is well planned an laid out. Nothing liike the one that I passed out on which was goliath at SFMM. Lagoon designed this ride in house and a majority of the construction was all local except the coaster cars. This came from Germany. The steel track a fabricated in Clearfield, Utah not to far away from the park. This is an awesome must ride coaster. I ride this all the time I go there. Luckily Lagoon is my home park.😁
