- NEW! "Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac" is an insane roller coaster ride at Europa Park. We have never seen or experienced a coaster train that bounces and shakes you before launching you out of the station at an angle of 105°. Voltron currently holds the World Record for the Steepest Launch ever at 105°.
The queue is also pretty impressive with an animatronic & an electrifying tesla coils show every few minutes. You will also see a cool water vortex in the queue outside. It reminds us of the Water Vortex tunnel that used to be at Universal's Islands of Adventure.

Wow!! THIS IS A MASTERPIECE! The queue, theming, launched right into a flip, that mid ride turn about… damn!
That stop at the inversion to a hard choppy right was one of the worst decisions I've ever seen on a coaster

I have done this beast 2 weeks ago, it is an amazing rollercoaster. The first time I didn't know what was up and down, it has so many inversions😅 the second time I enjoyed it more, it was less overwhelming😊 but for sure one of the best coasters there is at the moment!

I live next to Europapark and it is Indeed a great park. But in Germany there is also Phantasialand which have amazing roller coasters.
I live in central Florida and get a lot of coaster action from Universal / Sea World / Busch Gardens. All of them have some awesome coasters. Velocicoaster and Iron Gwazi being my favs.
This coaster is a design wonder. Even as an Orlando resident where we have so many great rides this one really excites me.

Europa Park is know for its fast Operation. They are World wide at the front with it. So yeah. Its really crazy
The interesting thing is, that the park is owned by Mack Rides, so naturally most of the rides in this park are manufactured „in house“. This also means that they can design the rides to have smooth operations. For example, in An interview with the channel „American Coaster Enthusiasts“ Patrick Marx, the Parks operations manager said, that before they decided on the Lay-out for Voltron, they had fixed that this ride will have a capacity of 1600 guests per hour, and designed the ride and it’s operations for this number.
@@karstenbursak8083 Just because Mack uses its own attractions, that is not necessarily the reason why their operation is so fast. Wodan and Silver Star are from other manufacturers and they also have fast timing and high capacity. It always depends on the customer's wishes and on organization.
Germany so lucky to have Europa Park. Top 3 park in the world IMO and it’s family run by the Mack’s who built this ride.

Damn; that is one of the best themed queue lines I've ever seen. Totally first rate and that's BEFORE you get to the clearly amazing coaster.
Hit up universal Orlando all of their coasters and rides are like this but better

Just visited Europa Park yesterday and got to do this ride. I felt 100% the same: NEVER experienced a ride like this before!

Absolutely incredible coaster, Europa Park has outdone themselves. I just don't understand why they didn't add a high-speed door to the backside of the turntable. This would initially hide the backwards launch for a better surprise, and also make the turntable room much darker and highlight the electrical effects on the screens. Maybe they will add this in the future?
They said that the turn tables will get their upgrade in the future. The whole croatian section isnt done yet and will be expanded with more rides and theming. So im confident they will add more to the theming around voltron.

That is spectacular theming! I was only expecting the Wardenclyffe facade and Tower, and I find they had actual Tesla coils in the queue! The ride itself looks very well laid out. I wish this were nearer to me. What really blows me away is that this is a Mack ride. They really stepped up their game.
So many elements on this ride! The turntable into the swing launch, during the middle of the ride, was a nice surprise. That's going to be the new drop track.
Not to mention that electrifying bouncetrack/lightning moment just before the initial launch!! 😮🎉

That is a beautiful ride. Love the whole look. The landscaping under the track is so nice. Most parks just leave it dirt. The electric effe t is awesome. That offset turntable... never seen that before. I really want to ride this. Lot of awesome stuff in the European parks. This one really rides thay edge with the slow hang time on the inversions.

Voltron is a beast in German Engineering and capacity. This rollercoaster can take up to 1600 people for a ride per hour. There's a reason why there's a conveyor belt in the station, why you have to put all your belongings in a locker beforehand, and why the train is approaching the turntable just right when there's another train leaving. This coaster is designed to the max to reach the best capacity! :D

WOW!!! This is amazing… Ive never seen a coaster launch you right into a loop, but not just any loop, a loop with a dip in it!!
At first I thought that’s it when it stopped, then it spins you around, launches you backwards and launches you off again on a different track. So many twists & turns and loop de loops. I would take a loan out to fly to Germany just to ride this!!
What a great ride, that building looks neat from outside and inside no less. Didn't expect to see 2 animatronics inside too. I am german so i might get to ride this one day but just watching the pov is exciting.

Creative laziness and no budget
Because theme parks are exceedingly more competitive in Europe and fairs and rides are a big part of German culture. Plus Europa Park is kid of their Disney. They even have a geodesic sphere too.
I think because Disney and Universal already have the market cornered as top dogs so the other theme parks know they can’t compete in terms of theming. The other parks are more amusement parks than theme parks. Plus theming is prohibitively expensive. Basically in the US if you want theming and IP you go to Disney and Universal. If you want rides you go to the others. Although I would argue that SeaWorld and Busch Gardens are pretty good at theming too.
America seems to focus on the thrill which is totally fine for thrill seekers. I love a bit of both and Europa Park is great at theming. As is Efteling and Disneyland.
No point when Disney will always have theming won but not much thrill

i love the turning part; any unsuspecting people in the back may think the ride is over, but then the music kicks in and it turns around. 😂😂😂 the backwards launch is also sick
Great video! And you added a lot to the results by doing some establishing shots that showed us what the ride vehicle looks like. So many POV coaster videos don't do that, so we can't fully appreciate what the ride they are showing us is like.
