How come anytime this is a video about cats or dogs the comment section turns into a nuclear battle field of which animal is better? I'm going through these comments, and only see people trashing both species, saying cats are evil, or that dogs are stupid, why do people even fight over this? How can you call yourself an animal lover if your determined to insult an entire species? No animal is better than another, and no species can fall entirely under one trait, some dogs are smart, others are...not. some cats love people, others just avoid us. Every animal has a distinct personality that it is its own, not it's species. I have had both dogs, and cats, in my lifetime, and each has it's own perks. I love both cats and dogs, and would always love to have both animals in my life, so please, stop arguing which animal is better. Because no one will ever win.
And it depends on the persons personality, if you want a being that is totally dependent on you but loves you as long as it lives, get a dog, if you want something that doesn't need much care but needs Its boundaries, get a cat

Jade Greening I have an adopted stray who initially would show his belly, we called it 'the belly trap'. Seemed welcoming, but !! don't touch. 7 years of love and offering 'tickle belly', he is a non-threatening member of our family.
I pet mine, they start streching themselfs like they're having the time of their lives.
Also true for humans. We don't show our bellies, but we show our trust and self-confidence with a more open body language. Most of us don't realize it. Once you do... it's useful to judge others. You can also fake it, although it's hard to make it look natural.

I prefer cats my self. I watched our family dog attack my dad for no reason when I was really little (5 or 6) and don't trust them. But I will consed that dogs are smarter than cats.
I think it comes down to the personality of the animal. Dogs place pleasing their master very high on the list of desires. Cats don't really care if the please you. They want YOU to please THEM, thus the god thing.

I'm really not a cat lover but my next door neighbor brought home this stray that was eating out of a dumpster,and it was always fighting his other cats for food (his has 18 other cats). So I took this cat (what was I thinking).She is the most easy going, and friendlyist cat I 've ever been in contact with. Would not trade her for anything.

My kitty only likes dry kibbles. Turns her nose up to canned food. Fine with me....kibbles aren't messy or stinky like canned foods.

I remember I went on vacation once back when I was about 12 and I left bowls of food and water out for my cat because I was gone for about a week. That little fucker went through everything and THEN clawed through the colossal bag of cat food and the shit was everywhere in the basement. And that little asshole used to scratch me when I was sleep. I never did anything wrong to him but he loved being a troll. I got the final troll when I kicked his ass out. Good riddance to that little pussy. I did love that cat though, but I love dogs more.

This reminded me of my sister's cat. Me, mom and my sister went on vacation and my sister asked my dad to watch her cat while we were gone for a month. Well my dad just left the bucket of cat food open. Once we came home we found ourselves an over weight bitchy fat cat. She was extremely bitchy afterward. Also some how she was able to open a box of moon cakes and only ate the top of the cakes. Also due to her new fat body she started suffocating people while they are asleep. She literally sleep at your pillow side and when you are asleep she roll over on your face. It felt like a big fluffy fat blob on your face. She did that to literally everyone who slept over my sister's place.
