    Hi there, thanks so much for answering my previous question on another video. Could you tell me what you mean by the net pay matching the amount that goes into the bank account? Does this mean that the net pay as listed on the payslip needs to match, or are there other documents it might need to match as well (his contract only lists gross pay)?
    I think my husband has his student loan payment deducted directly from his paycheck before it goes into the bank account, so I do think there might be a difference.
    Sorry for all the silly questions, I am terrible with bureaucracy!

    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  Před 5 lety +1

      Hi, thank you for watching my videos!!
      So on the wage slips there will be gross pay, tax deducted and then net pay is what’s left after the tax is deducted and that is the amount that will be paid into the employee’s account that is why the net pay on the wage slip needs to match the amount that goes into the bank.
      The reason it needs to match is cuz if it doesn’t, they will wonder if it’s a real job cuz these things are almost never wrong!
      The gross pay doesn’t need to be matched with anything really but they will use the gross pay to calculate his annual income.
      Don’t worry if the gross pay on his contract and his actual gross pay end up being different. As long as it works out to £18,600 per annum, they don’t care about that really.
      Hope that makes sense, good luck with your application :)

      when i first submitted my application my documents were not detailed enough and i ended up with a refusal, this is because my employer wasnt clear about my income or how long i had been working. I would suggest you put in how long you have been employed since and your annual income which needs to be 18,600.00.
      If you need other assistance i used the following solicitors Which i cant recommend enough, email her An@tylerhoffman.co.uk and tell her chris told you about her she is amazing and will assess you and tell you what needs tobe done. they helped me after my first refusal and that was heartbreaking for me.

    When you say bank statement on company paper, do you also have to show your actual bank statement too?
    I am getting paid into a Korean bank and my first two pay checks were cash because it is incredibly difficult to open a bank in Korean unless you have been residing here for a lengthy period of time. I am wondering if I can get the company invoice as proof enough?
    Thanks for your content.

    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  Před 2 lety

      Yeah, I mean actual bank statements. You can ask for the bank to print you out statements from those 2 months if they can. Otherwise I would suggest you wait another 2 months and discard the months with no statements. I know it’s not ideal but those documents are a very big part of the requirements and you could risk a rejection which is even worse. You’ll be waiting a lot more than 2 additional months if that was the case

    Hi thank you so much for all the videos what you are doing is great. I am applying for a spouse visa to bring my wife to the UK. about the pay slips i have recently changes jobs i have continuous pay slips. do the pay slips need to be from the same employer ? and what are the documents that need to be no older than 28days ?

    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  Před 5 lety

      Hi Hussein, thank you for watching my videos, I am glad you like them. It is ok that you have changed jobs recently and if you have continuously been earning above the threshold then that is great. The only difference with your application is that you will be applying under category B rather than A and you will have a total of 12 months of wage slips prior to application. So it will mean using wage slips from both your previous job and your current one (course you'll have more from your previous job) as you have not been with your current employer for 6 months yet.
      The documents that should be within 28 days will be things like your employment letter, land registry, last wage slip, last bank statement, environmental health report on the house, any other letters really, bills, etc. I would suggest your last chats/call logs are no older than 28 days either. Hope that helps answer your question. Good luck with your application :)

    Hi ruks
    Just a quick question
    Should the date of the wages being paid to your account should be the same for every month i.e. on the 5th of every month unless it lands on the weekend in which case they may move the date forward i.e. instead of 5th they may pay on the 4th. After this the Payslip can then be issued i.e. on the 7th of every month the payslip will come in. Thank You.

    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  Před 5 lety

      Hey, no it’s doesn’t have to be paid on the same date each month. Like you mention, weekends can mean the dates changed. Some places pay ever 4weeks instead of a specific date so it’s always the same day Friday every 4 weeks or something rather than the same date. Hope that helps answer your question, good luck with your application :)

    Hi Ruks. Love your videos, they've been extremely useful in getting my own spouse visa application together! I'm getting married in India this month, and looking to apply next month to bring my wife over to the UK. I have a question pertaining to the financial documents. I've been working for my employer here in UK since last year (May 2017) and just been internally promoted to a more senior position. My current salary before promotion was already well in excess of the £18600 threshold anyway. However, do you think I should get my employer to mention this promotion in their employment letter, even though I am likely to only officially start in the new post in Sept/Oct 2017, only after the visa application has been submitted. Also, as it is technically a new job, even though it is with the same employer, does that affect whether I have to submit 6 or 12 months worth of payslips and bank statements? Or do I still use my original start date with my employer (May 2017), and therefore still only submit 6 months worth of payslips and statements? Hope this makes sense lol. Regards, Nino

    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  Před 6 lety

      Hi Nino, thank you for watching. If you won’t have started your new role when you make your application I think it’s best you don’t mention it. If you do, you may end up needing to show 12 months of wage slips, though it’s not a new company, it is technically a new contract as you will be in a new job role. Hope this helps :)

    • @nmanik90
      @nmanik90 Před 5 lety +1

      Thanks for your reply. I think I heard you mention that UKVI will call up your employer to confirm your job details, so it's probably best to mention the promotion in the employment letter right? Also if you don't mind me asking, did you use a lawyer at any stage of your application to check through and proofread your forms and documents thoroughly before submission?

    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  Před 5 lety

      Hmm, that’s very true. They only really call if they are suspicious of your employments (mainly when you work two jobs, they almost always call the second employer) but it’s best to be on the safe side I guess.

    Hi. Your videos have been very helpful. I have some questions, if you don't mind:
    1) can we black out any sensitive information in bank statements for security purposes such as account number and sort code etc, NI number? Or did you leave it in?
    2) is the 33 month spouse visa processed as soon as she enters uk with the entry clearance visa? Is this automatic or do we have to do anything?
    3) did you black out and hide message content in your WhatsApp chat history or just leave it in?
    Thanks,

      Hi, I didn’t black any information out on any of my documents, inc. bank statements, wage slips of chat history. As I took screenshots from each month, I was selective with the conversation I wanted to show.
      Yes, the 33 months are from date of entry so when applying for the extension it’s to make the application 28 days prior to 33 months from date of entry...of that makes sense

      @RuksanaAhmed  Před 6 lety

      Hey, you can get married in either country but to marry in the UK, you will need to apply for a fiancé visa. It is exactly the same process as for the spouse visa however, you are given a 6 month visa and you must marry within that 6 months. It will definitely be easier for you to marry in Malaysia but I can understand that you would want his parents there. Maybe have your main wedding (legal wedding) in Malaysia, maybe have a small party and then have another party after you arrive in the UK and celebrate with his parents?
      Aww, I'm so glad you watch my videos and are finding them helpful and they are easing your stresses with the application. Yes, most of the documents are from the Sponsor, you need to worry about signing the printed online application form, attending the biometrics appointment, doing your A1 ielts life skills test and the TB test. Most other things are from his side. If your BF has ever been to Malaysia and you have receipts from anything you did together, include those as well as receipts from any parcels you may have sent to him or give him back any letters he sent to you so he can put them in with the supporting documents. Steven Curtis Hi Steve. This is not much of a problem if you are paid hourly. All you need to do is add up all 6 wages that you’ll be providing, divide them by 6 to get the mean average and then times that figure by 12 to give you your yearly annual income from those 6 months. As long as that works out to be £18,600 or above then you are laughing really. It’s harder to meet the requirements when you are salaried than when you are paid hourly! Yes, you can gather your supporting documents after submitting your application/biometrics appointment, they will be well within date. Just as long as they aren’t over 28 days from submitting your form/paying your fees because once they go over that, they are considered to be invalid/expired. Just remember you have 20 days after your biometrics appointment to hand all your documents in or 10 if you are paying priority. Hope this helps answer your question :)

I was getting worried that we would need to cancel my application as my husband's employers letter and the letter from his bank will be dated after the date we submitted the application on line and made the payments. Thanks for clarifying this. I hope your husband is settling in to life in the UK.

    Hi Ruks. Once again, thanks for sharing and guidance. Unfortunately, my son was off sick for couple of weeks two months ago and received less pay due to sickness deductions. Though his monthly gross pay shows full amount, the adjusted gross pay after deduction shown as final gross for that month is less and does not fulfill the monthly gross x 6 = 18600. Would that be detrimental to the application, in your opinion, or a brief explanation with GP sick note copy be sufficient?

    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  Před 5 lety

      Hi, sorry to hear he’s been unwell. Before I can answer your question I need to know if his in salaried or non-salaried (hourly rate) employment because the rules are different depending on that.

    • @mobylondon6543
      @mobylondon6543 Před 5 lety +1

      He is in salaried position with a monthly salary of gbp 1594.71 / annual salary gbp 19,136.52. His company letter would state 19,136.52 per annum and his payslip states 1594.71 per month before any sick pay deduction or overtime addition. Overtime is worked on hourly units. If the rule says to take any one lowest payment in last six months and multiply that by 12, then his lowest payment last month due sickness was 1183.64 (after deducting sick absence) and times 12 of this comes to only 14203.68, whereas his actual annual is 19136.52. Totally confused right now!

    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  Před 5 lety

      Ok, so that makes things easier for him. The calculation of the lowest wage slips is what you would do if he was in salaried employment. An hourly rate means he is non-salaried which is great because he may be ok. He just needs to add up all 6 wage slips, divide by 6 to get the mean average and then x 12 and that should give him the annual salary. Hope this makes sense!!

    • @mobylondon6543
      @mobylondon6543 Před 5 lety +1

      Thanks Ruks. After taking the average, his annual works out below the £86000 threshold due to the deduction of sick absence. I will be submitting on this basis with a letter from the company confirming his annual pay and add a note with gp sick note to explain lower earnings for the six months and hopefully they will consider the fact that had he not been sick, his wages would be above the threshold. Will keep you informed.

    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  Před 5 lety

      Hi Moby, is there anyway he can hold off for another month and make up for it by working overtime? I would highly recommend that if it’s possible. They are quite strict with the threshold and have refused for just a few pounds before so that’s why I’m saying it. Course a Letter might be enough but think about all your options before you take the risk. Obviously, I’m not a solicitor and I’ve don’t of anyone who has been in the same situation so I can only give you my understanding of the application and advise you in that. Definitely keep me updated!

      Hi Johana, thank you for watching! Before tax is any money you earn without the tax deductions. On one side of your wage slip it will say how much you earned that month. It might say something like 150hrs worked @ £8ph = £1,200 that would be the before tax wage. I would definitely suggest you have a look at your form again...if you can (maybe you can get your wife to print it out and scan it over to you/take pics of it for you). I only say that cuz you can only print it off once, and she'll need it at the biometrics appointment so it's best for her to print it. Hope that helps a little bit, hope you get it sorted. @RuksanaAhmed  Před 5 lety +1

      mahmood zaffar Hi, yes of course, you only need to be in a job for 6 months to make the application. In terms of your employment, it does not matter that it’s varied each month (that’s the perks of being non salaried). All you need to do is add up the gross income of your most recent 6 months of wage slips, divide the total by 6 to get the average and then multiply by 12. As long as that figure if above £18,600 that’s all that matters. The good thing about non salaried employment is any over time counts, so if your sick one month, so less hours one month, you can make up for it another month, commission counts as well 😊

      Hi, thanks for watching! I’m not sure that they will accept your mini statement tbh. The only reason I think they accepted mine was because I ended up sending them a total of 7 wage slips, 6 bank statements and 1 mini statement. That’s only because by the time I was ready to submit my papers my 7th wage slip had arrived. If I was you, I would wait and then if your 7th wage slips comes in, then you can print off a mini statement. Hope this makes sense. Good luck with your application :)

    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi, it doesn't matter how long after marriage you apply, you can actually apply from before marriage, the day/week or month after, some apply many months even years after.
      My husband and I applied 2 months after the marriage (well 3 because I spent a month with him after the marriage and then a further two months after I returned). As long as the sponsor has 6 months of wage slips and bank statments then you can apply at any point.
      You can apply from your country if you feel confident. My husband wasn't so I applied for him but I still chose "apply from outside the UK" and "apply for myself". I just made sure all the answers I gave were what he would have given. Hope that makes sense!

      @RuksanaAhmed  Před 5 lety +1

      Hi, thank you for watching my video. You should be fine to change your job/job contract, it doesn't matter that your p60 will be issued. Do you declare your own taxes or does the company sort that out for you? If the company sorts it out for you then you have nothing to worry about. You will just have to wait either 6 months before you apply (after you have collected 6 months of wage slips) or if you earn £18,600+ in your current job role and you will be earning that in your new job role and you don't want to wait then you can provide 12 months of wage slips altogether. So say you apply after 2 months of being in the new job, you will apply with 2 months wage slips from your new job and 10 months from your previous job but you have to have earned £18,600+ in both. Hope that makes sense, good luck with your application :)

    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  Před rokem

      Hi, it depends if you are on a salary or are on an hourly rate. If it’s an hourly rate then as long as 6 wages slips show an income of £9,300 then it doesn’t matter if you earn less one month and more in another.
      If you are salaried then they will multiply your lowest monthly wage by 12 and if that isn’t £18,600 or over (which £1540 x 12 won’t be) then you don’t meet the financial requirements.
      I’m not sure if in this case you can submit 12 months to make sure to show them you did earn it this last year. It’s probably best to speak to a solicitor if you are on a salary to make sure

If they are unable to do that then I would advise he gets another job part-time, temporarily just so he earns enough to bring you over. Otherwise, you can make the rest up with savings but he must have over £16,000 of savings to begin with for it to even be considered, plus extra, depending on how much he is short by. The savings must have been in his account for the last 6 months also (can be gifted if he doesn't have enough savings). @RuksanaAhmed  Před 6 lety

      Hi Ussy, thanks for watching. There is need to have been working at all to get married but to make an application for the visa, he sponsor needs to have been working for a minimum of 6 months in the same job. If you have been working at least 6 months up to marriage then once you are married, you can pretty much apply straight after. Hope that makes sense. Good luck with your application 😊

    What’s the difference between marriage visa and fiancé visa ?

    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  Před 5 lety

      A fiancé visa is for 6 months and you must have the intention to marry during your stay in the UK, it doesn’t matter if you and your partner have ever lived together. Once you are married, you can apply for the spouse visa to continue living together in the UK. A spouse visa is when you are already married and have lived together before (even if only for a few days) and you would like to continue to live together in the UK. A spouse visa is for 2.5 years and can be extended until indefinite leave to remain

      Hey! Unfortunately they don’t always send confirmation of receipt. That is the correct address so please try not to worry. We here anything for 2 months. You’re package will be at the very bottom of millions and millions of applications, they will probably will not have even opened it yet so won’t even know it’s there. Good luck :)!

      I think some countries still send here though so it might be right for you. It is best to check on the VFS website just in case

    So you have to be employed? What if you earn as unemployed

    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  Před 3 lety

      No, you don't have to be employed but it is the easiest way to prove the financial requirements so that is why people work to meet the requirement. You can be self-employed but need to show a years worth of income. If you have no job, you can show cash savings but it needs to be a minimum of £62,500 (this can be borrowed but must be in your account for a minimum of 6 months). If you have a pension, are paid rent you can use these or if you are a carer or have a disability that prevents you from working you may be exempt from meeting the financial requirements. I don't know much about the other methods tbh as it's not a situation we were in.

      Hi, thanks for watching! For self employed I know that you’ll have to provide 12 months worth of bank statements and wage slips but other than that I am not too sure how it work so I would deffo suggest looking into it and maybe speaking to a solicitor. Sorry I can’t help you much but I wish you the best of luck with your application :)

      hi Jhon,
      Self employed is Tricky i would recommend speaking to a solicitor too, email an@tylerhoffman.co.uk and they can give you a free consultation to make sure that you qualify to apply for this visa.
      if you do they can help you further otherwise they will tell you how to improve your circumstances.
      Best of luck

    Plz help me out on these two sections... thanks

    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  Před 5 lety

      Hi, thank you for watching my video.
      1. Hmm, I'm guessing you get paid more than £18,600 in one of our jobs. Even though you work both jobs, if you earn more than £18,600 in one of those jobs then you can show that one, ideally it would be your permanent role. I'm not too sure on the rules for fixed term unfortunately so I would suggest you ask a solicitor Abir that.
      2. You just need to get your cousin to write a letter to say that he and his wife are happy for you and you spouse to live with them rent and bills free. You need to get an environmental health report done on the property do that the council can see that the house is suitable for you all to stay there. If your cousin owns he property, you should get the title deeds of the property as well. Watch my "Part 7 - accommodation documents" video, your documents will pretty much be the same as mine.
      Hope this helps! Good luck with your application :)

    • @glendadavies4408
      @glendadavies4408 Před 6 lety +1

      Thank you. Under Category A, you submitted 6 payslips and 6 bank statements? And is it true that the last payslip and bank statement (6th month) should be within 28 days from the day of Biometrics or the day when you apply onliine via VFS? Do you also submit the Letter from Employer and Contract of Employment and it should be within 28 days? I read many threads and I don't know which is which. Thank you.

    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  Před 6 lety

      Hi, yes 6 banks statements and 6 wage slips (personally I submitted 7 as my 7th wage slip came the day I was submitting so had a mini-statement printed for that). So the last wage slips/bank statement should be no later than 28 days old when you pay for your visa fees. It also applies for your environmental health report and any cover letters from your employer, the spouse, the applicant, parents/landlord. Your work contract can be from when you started with your company
