Met these guys at Mayhem yesterday. They were so fucking nice and amazing. Alex liked my Deftones shirt and Mark actually asked me a question!!! Their set was fucking badass as well say what you will say what you may but know that this band is FUCKING LEGIT
"I'm a weird player so i pick down then up" No Chris, even on riffs that end up leaving you picking out side the string or whatever it's called, keeping each downstroke on the down beat is a sign of a good rhythm guitarist. There's actually less movement, as you don't have to quickly force yourself to pick up or down twice in a row, even despite the outside the string thing that happens.

I don't care if something is simple or advance, if the person loves it that is all that matters.
I don't care what anyone says. I love these guys. They're having fun, they're accessible, real, and throw down some brutal stuff. And I, unlike some folks on here, love the way they explain what they're doing because my simple azz can actually understand it. I could give a crap what they know about theory or any other crap. Especially since I've learned over the years that there are those that talk and those that do. The ones that talk usually don't do very well.

Unnecessary 7 strings right!? Check out Reflections or Polyphia if you want to see a 7+ string used PROPERLY
7 strings is necessary to them. They use super low tunings like drop A. Using a 7 string in drop A only requires the low B to be dropped down to A, instead of having to drop a 6 string down that low.

GetScaredGaming get some thicker gauge strings and tune to drop A on your 6, ive been doing it for years now because I cant afford a 7. besides, you don't need a high e to play suicide songs.

B is not a "drop" tuning, its standard on a 7 string. They tune the 7th string to A and leave the rest standard
There is a such thing as Drop B, which is different from B standard. It's most commonly used for 6 strings, and goes B-F#-B-G#-C#, or simply a minor third down from E standard. It's used a lot by bands like Slipknot and Chevelle.
There is a 'Drop...' everything. The term Drop tuning simply means to lower the lowest string of a 'Standard' tuning by a whole step, which puts an open 5th chord (Power Chord) on the open position of the bottom three strings so that you can just barre them and get easy power chords. Drop D, for example, is the Drop tuning that corresponds to E standard. Drop B would correspond to Db (C#) Standard. And Drop A would correspond to B standard, as you partially said correctly.
