Well if you were expecting something different from Epica, it isn't. It's just Epica without the rest of Epica in it and Simone Simons having more control. So what she does is - well, what she knows how to do, which is the style of Epica. However I don't really have an issue with this - all that matters to this punter is if the song any good or not. I'm pleased to report that it is! A broad sweeping concept, fabulous vocals, musicianship, production and in general a great listening experience. It's a must for SM playlist. Epica at their finest, er, just without Epica playing it. My Score: Very Good 4*
