- It's been 41 years and Georgia has a lot of partying to catch up on. The Dawgs pull it out against Alabama and prove they have what it takes to finally get to the top of the mountain. Now their long relationship with Hope comes to an end and she needs to find a new place to move on to.

You had me thoroughly confused. Maybe someone was thinking of Bacarri Rambo? He was a safety on the 2012 Georgia team that came close to going on to the BCS game… if not for Bama. Hope had full control of us until we botched the final pass of that game.

I’m a Florida fan and I only watched the fourth quarter of this game. Since this game wasn’t worth watching. It was actually a win-win situation: Alabama winning will extend Georgia’s National Championship losing streak Georgia winning the Sabanites would cry.

After 41 years, that's the one time most of the country will be happy for Kirby and UGA, and it honestly feels great. I know that the narrative will be a lot different the next time we make it into the CFP, and that's to be expected.

Even before she said it I knew hope was going to A&M. After multiple top ten classes, depth at quarterback and an unbelievable recruiting class there is hope and great expectations in Aggieland!

After Georgia won, I could hardly wait until the next SEC Short with Hope and Georgia. I've seen it at least a dozen times now, and it still chokes me up every time.
I remember coming here after every UGA close loss, watching SEC Shorts' video on a game that would be soul-crushing, wondering when, if, this day would come. This is for 2007, 2012, 2017, 2018, 2019, etc. All of the heartbreak is now forever okay with me because of not only that we did it, but how we did it. We were the team which came back and played our best in the fourth.
It honestly doesn't feel real and I'm just so happy this finally happened. I was born in 2002, so while I have my far share of heartbreak, I can only imagine what it feels like for the fans a generation before me. I can't really explain how much it means, but it was as equally relieving as it was joyous and I'll enjoy for a while. GO DAWGS!!!

From a lifelong Bama fan I want to say congratulations to the Georgia Bulldogs. You guys played an incredible game! You played better than us in that game and deserved the title. @@kevinscott59 We have the luxury of following a team that has consistently competed hard but fallen short of their goals for a long time. A lot of those players went on to contribute to the sport at the next level. I can't dismiss their efforts, nor their heart, and especially given the level of their competition. There are worse fates than being a fan of a team that has rarely reached the heights. I was a college sophomore the last time they were national champions. For me it's been a worth-while ride since that time, even through times of disappointment and frustration.
