You probably already know this but I'll remind you anyway, at the beginning of the final Scarecrow encounter in Asylum you get stuck in Batman's body as it's strapped to a gurney and Joker pulls a gun on you, shooting at point blank range resulting in a game over. But just to let you know it's a fake out the hint that you get after you "die" tells you to use the middle stick to dodge the Joker's gun shot even though if you're using a controller there is no middle stick.

@@johngurwitz5203 He's confused as to why only a single shell dropped out after she fires, since that's something that happens with other hand guns like Glocks, where after you fire the shell will pop out but for a revolver to pop out you need to be reloading the gun and it doesn't look like she does any sort of reload action after she shoots him.

Its Mildly worth noting they do have a scene where he literally takes down the squad like a typical mob of arkhamverse goons. Harley even says it feels too familiar for her liking. What gets him is that the brainwashing ends up making him sloppy and unable to conceive someone planning for HIM to do something predictable.

A scene between Harley and Batman in which Bruce laments his rule being broken and accepting his death for the greater good, ending on a bittersweet note would have been so much better than this tripe.

Seeing some of these cutscenes, thats the bit that really angers people. I get it what they were going for, you're playing as villains finally killing their rivals. In a vacuum it could work. But because this is the *Justice League*, a group of heroes people grew up with, seeing them being disrespected so badly is both heartwrenching and anger inducing. They needed to go out with dignity, not disgrace.

Imagine if while poking around in Batman’s brain, Braniac had unintentionally unshackled the Joker persona trapped in his mind. In that moment where Harley is calling out how tame Batman’s insults were, Joker would come out for juuust a bit to really sting the team before Harley executes him. Would narratively make sense since the Joker’s persona wasn’t completely removed, only imprisoned in Batman’s mind. It would also be more valid why Batman wouldn’t try to escape if the Joker was in control, he’d rather hurt Harley as much as he could so he could have the last laugh. That would have been much better in my opinion. Bruce gets his send off with the message, Batman effectively died when Braniac took over, and Harley got to kill the last remaining piece of the Joker in this universe.
Would have been perfect the way you mentioned. The game still wouldn't really respect Arkham Batman (he wouldn't have even boarded the ship without a back-up plan), but would've wrapped up the entire Joker arc and allowed Harley to completely close that chapter forever. Rather than brutally murdering Batman without hesitation, who seemingly would visit Harley and other criminals in Arkham (which he stopped doing when he was in Metropolis), she could be accepting that Batman had died once Brainiac took control of his mind, and that what she faced at the end was the Joker

Bruce implanted a heartbeat monitor and a neural chip into his body, in the moment of his death the cloning machine will instantly create a clone. The clone knows how the original dies and it's able to create a countermeasure against the being/beings that murder its predecessor. The clone also has access to the original resources.

It should’ve been a struggle, it should have had some immense character significance, hell they could’ve had him break the control long enough to accept the death, knowing the danger he’ll cause if he’s allowed to live under Braniac’s control. They could’ve done so much with the JL, they could’ve made each death heartbreaking and personal, and instead they made each one die like a chump.

This death could've also been better if they had just changed Harley's dialogue to maybe sound a _bit_ sad that this is how Batman dies. I know they weren't exactly allies, but it would be kinda neat to have had her acknowledged he never would've wanted to hurt innocent lives. Some sort of "Sorry Bats..." of some kind.
