I do love how Captain Boomerang called it, with Flash literally just echoing the same line. Later on, CB even makes it clear that the Flash they're fighting doesn't act like the Flash they used to know, making it clear that the original Flash is dead and gone. It really goes to show how well Captain Boomerang knew the Flash. They might have been enemies, but they'd been going at it for years and understood each other really well.

@@Kira22558yeah that was the biggest problem with this story. Boomerang and Harley normally respect the hell out of Flash and Batman respectively, so to see them act towards the heros in that manner just feels wrong and edgy for the sake of being edgy.
@@berrymax7907 They act that way toward the "heros" yes. Both Batman & Flash have nearly killed each one of them, it's clearly more personal here as they no longer are the heros therefore not sharing the respect they deserve.

My headcanon, The Flash was more closer to his other versions and was treated decent, but when Ezra Miller became a menace and trending, Rocksteady decided to rework the Flash and have Boomerang piss on his corpse.

This is my theory is that there were a little a bit of themselves that is still in them so if they have the chance they wil purposely let someone kill them well at least if they can take a little a bit of control

That is exactly what I’m saying, there plot amor is a rival fast in the furious. There plot armor will protect them from the Big Bang or the blood borne verse
Green Lantern is the only one that makes logical sense of being able to be defeated thanks to yellow lantern rings the suicide squad gets. The Flash and Superman can easily dodge bullets no problem.
I can make the argument that being under Brainiacs control makes Batman less strategic. But that's about it
Say what you will about the campaign, but Boomerang and Flash making the same type of joke about his speed ("post him / mail me the bullet") is a great detail.

also this game has great writing sometimes, like boomer knowing flash's one-liner before he says it because they're lifelong nemeses. and then the devs get mind controlled by brainiac and made it into this
You know this game loves and respects its characters just by how it treats Flash. He somehow escaped Braniac's ship and saved the squad in the opening. For all his trouble, he got severely beaten by Green Lantern and the people he saved ended up torturing him and dragging him around like a garbage bag with Boomerang literally cutting his thumb clean off. The first thing he does upon regaining consciousness is to save Harley and is rewarded with Batman beating him to near death and taken back to the ship to finish brainwashing him.
Yeah.. before the brainwashing, he WAS a good Flash

I think WB keeping Ezra Miller may be an over correction in regards to how quickly they dropped Johnny Depp over Amber Heard’s allegations. They don’t want to make the same mistakes again and see the verdicts from actual legal courts instead of abiding to the court of public opinion.
David Zaslav may also have a lot to do with it. The guy is all about saving money and cuts. There was too much sunk cost in the Flash’s budget and shooting schedule and he wanted a return in investment.
