- It's my compilation of video snippets from the national selections for Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Italy of the results and actual winners' reactions to their wins. Not too long (moreover, copyright issues wouldn't allow me to make it longer anyway) and not too short, I paid enough attention to some voting parts and also exlained a bit how different voting systems worked there. Enjoy!

24:26 My bad, of course, Finland had 25% jury and 75% televoting, not 50/50.
Also, in some videos here I should’ve cut it into small pieces to avoid copyrights, that’s why some snippets are so short and/or messy (especially when it comes to Albania, Spain, Ireland, France, Sweden)
to those who want to know why Alina pash wasn't in Eurovision:
Pash has announced that she has withdrawn from the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 after accusations that she visited Crimea illegally in 2015
Well in Albania this would be top 3... but they announce 4... and then it was revealed that the 3° is shared. This was so unreal (I did not understand until the top 2, Ronela and Alban together) .

Krystian was ill that day, that's why he looked pale during his performence and maybe that's why he didn't look as ecited as the other winners

Ukraine is hard to watch. Both because Alina Pash was disqualified a week later for something that had nothing to do with the contest and everything to do with politics. Then within another week the invasion began. Kalush Orchestra had one great shining moment, now they're all fighting for their country's right to exist. It sounds like they're still going to be able to go, but I can't imagine Eurovision is really that prominent in their minds right now.
That Vidbir was such a great night with so many good songs and moments, but now it's tinged with such sadness. How quickly everything changed :(

I am from Romania and I remember that moment, the dancers saw that Wrs won before the hosts announced the winner that is why they were so happy. I voted for him that night, really happy he won.

I had no idea Jovan Radomir was a host for Serbia's pre-selection. He is a very well known TV host in Sweden. Obviously he has a connection to Serbia - still surprised :)
He also used to be the spokesperson for Sweden in the early 2000's 🙂
He is Serbian by nationality.
He is actually born in Bosnia so he is a Bosnian Serb. But you know politics in the Balkans...

Haha, the most funniest part for a Finn is hearing the Estonian's screaming "palju õnne" 🤣 so endearing cause Estonian is so much like Finnish but just sounds very silly.
All these moments are superb... But I watch this kind of videos mostly because of all these beautiful languages.

Yeah, I didn’t watch so carefully. Moreover, there were copyright issues with melodifestivalen, so I left only short snippets of the winning moment itself

Some of these selections I didn’t watch (but we all know I definitely watched the aussies) but I had the lucky chance to witness the magical date for selections: February, 19, 2022 where there were about 6 finals that went live and all I gotta say is that this is a legendary video to watch and to sacrifice possible heavy copyright nukes for this video is something of a gigachad of you to do
I might be biased but I liked Latvia's winner announcement the best. They really made it seem as if they had already won the whole contest. 🤣

They usually have options, Finnish, English, Estonian and Russian commentary, at least, usually (OK, this year they didn't do Russian commentary)

Mostly I found all of this in the official sites of the broadcasters, including Denmark. BUT Denmark and Australia required VPN, to show them that I' like "from" these countries. So, I found Denmark on their broadcaster's site but using VPN like I from Denmark

What do you mean with "fixed" televoting results?
I mean, not fixed results but fixed points. There’re two ways how you could count televoting points (jury too, by the way). You either count it in proportion to the number of votes (which is more fair, of course) or just give fixed points considering only the order of songs in voting and forgetting about which number of votes they got.
Example: you have song 1 with 75% votes, song 2 with 20% and song 3 with 5%. The sum of points you are gonna divide between them is 100. So, by the first system the points will be 75 to song 1, 20 to song 2 and 5 to song 3. But if you use the second system, you could divide 100 points on, for example, 40, 35 and 25 and just give them to songs 1,2,3 in that order, completely forgetting about their percentages of votes.

Probably, the broadcaster asked Emma to change the song after the bad eurofans’ reaction, just like with Ira Losco in 2016. But the thing is she literally changed it to another generic song with the same bad eurofans’ reaction)

@@Mrzana101 Whether it's political or not, everyone decides themselves. Alina travelled in Crimea illegaly, not from Ukraine (crossing the border between Ukraine and Crimea) but from Moscow by plane. And then someone from her team provided to the Ukranian broadcaster forged documents like she travelled from Ukraine. These are 2 reasons.
@@escserg6731 Ok, but I don't see the reason for secrecy and being shunned for that. And I'm from Serbia, we have our own 'Crimean' situation in the form of Kosovo. No one would judge you based on your way of entering Kosovo here and there would be no need to forge any documents to stay 'clean' in the eyes of people and the government. Sounds like there's a lot of double standards going on. Alas

The host is definitely speaking in an Irish Accent. The presenter of the jury vote is American. The other two I'm not sure.
The studio jury vote was announced by Irish TV presenter Bláthnaid Treacy and the public vote was announced by Irish drag queen Panty Bliss

Cause hardcore fans of eurovision from Czech Republic are not many... I'd say like 2 or 3 thousands and about 10 thousands of casual audience at max... it will take like 5- 10 or even more years before people of my country will ever start caring about it if it happens...

Alina was disqualified because she travelled in Crimea illegally in 2015 and now one of her team provided forged documents about this to the broadcaster.
Where are Israel and Italy?
With Italy copyrights were too strong, I wasn't able to even put a short snippet. Even shorter would've been meaningless. It's Sanremo, what do we want) Moreover, technically, Sanremo isn't a national selection, it's a contest that have been even before Eurovision itself) The winner of it then is just asked whether they wanna go to Eurovision or not.
Israel - I don't know where the hell is it, how to find it in Hebrew on their site and how to even go to it, even with VPN it works bad.
