So many awesome songs. I like Ireland a lot, also Italy and Croatia. And of course I like Ukraine. I understand, that maybe song is too tragical, but sincerely, most of songs from Jerry Heil are and were a little crying. I am not JH fan, but I listened to her first album a lot and like many her songs , its my little guilty pleasure. Lyrics are very important and her songs just literally describe many of the feelings, which are feeling Ukrainian girls and women during past 5 years. This song on EV also describes how wee feel. Every day I have to be strong and continue to live, believe in victory and hope, that my family will be alive after the new missi1e attack

This semi is going to be heartbreaking. There are songs that I really want to be in the final (Czech republic, San Marino, Austria, Norway, Georgia, Greece, Latvia,...) but some of them are going to be eliminated. However, with all the respect, I really don't like the one which is the favourite to win this semi (netherlands). The song is not funny for me and the staging seems to be horrible (the blue chicken is a red flag for me).

Portugal is a 100% NQ, i could bet everything i have. Finland and Ireland are bordeline Q-NQ, the average eurovision viewer will dislike both of them, the one for being extremely vulgar and just "ugly", and the other for being extremely creepy/uncomfortable to watch. On the other hand cyprus is 100% Q, and Azerbaijan would have more chances to Q if the staging wasnt so blant and boring

This year we haven't such good songs but we have some diffrent ones. Not by this order: Australia, Ireland, Ukraine, Portugal, Czechia, France, Belgium, Spain Albania, Armenia, Stonia, Italy, Norway and Finland. I wont see Eurovision this year, because of Palestinian genocide. I can't accept this hipocrisy from all Europe... just in case you agree, show your conscious and make this a space to screem against genocide. I agree with all of that except for Finland. This going in final scares me a lot. I don't want to encourage Finland in that kind of stuff and send bad signals to other country by saying "look, if you do this you will get points"

So like I don't understand how people believe that Azerbaijan won't get last who will vote for it no-one and yeah Cyprus as the first half non qualifer understandable because it's thr weakest opener in a long time and if we compare it to Norway last year which got 6th in the Semi I just don't see it go through.

Predict this semi is very complicated. It seems that everybody made a very good job with their staging (except Albania, I can't believe that the guy who made the staging of Sweden 2015 made this). I can even consider Malta, Czechia, Latvia or San Marino as a shoking Q. It's really sad that we had to lose some or all of them. Moreover, I'm maybe the only who don't think that Belgium will be among the shoking NQ. Imo, I believe that Estonia and/or Austria (even if they learned about their 2022 attempt) could be a NQ. On one hand, Estonia didn't really manage to adapt their staging to the eurovision stage (I didn't say that it is bad, maybe a bit underwhelming), maybe with the public, it will be different. On the other hand, Kaleen's movements seem very slow and forgettable for a hyperpop song and it's also the type of entry that flop hardly. In the end, there will be a lot of suprise this week and I'm very excited for this🥰

Hi ^^ My Top 16 for now: 1. Estonia (Prediction: 8th) I admit the performance looks a bit less powerful then it could be (thats why It got overtaken as my 2nd place by Italy). Still I refuse to believe this will Non-qualify in a Semi with only Televoting. 2. Malta (Prediction: 9th) You know how much I love this one, I might predict a bit biased here but I just hope she can slip through somehow 3. Netherlands (Predicition: 1st) Its genius to include the outro of this song, especially with the subtitles 4. Switzerland (Prediction: 2nd) 5. Israel (Prediction: 4th) Vocally for me the most impressive one so far. Im actually at the Point that I might give them 1-2 votes in the Final. 6. Greece (Prediction: 5th) 7. Belgium (Prediction: 11th) As much as I love the studio Version, the performance is underwhelming. I might go completely wrong with that but I say this could be a surprise NQ if he does not improve on Thursday. 8. San Marino (Prediction: 12th) 9. I had quite a large bet on Australia to win their SF in 2023, so it was a very large swing of emotions going from certain I'd got the bet wrong after seeing their GF televote score to confused relief a couple hours later after seeing they'd somehow still won the SF

Important thing to note is that we might be seeing this more often with tele-only qualifiers. Songs that are too jury-friendly get eliminated in the semis since televote decides every song that makes it to the final. That means instead of having a few jury-bait songs receive low televote scores in the final, the televote is suddenly spread thin across 20 songs that all did well enough with the televote to qualify. Jury votes, however, will funnel towards the few jury-friendly songs that were strong enough to make it to the final.

Sorry folk, all those songs with folk music rhythms, which are insanely many this year, I would put in the last places (Moldova, Azerbaijan, etc.), because they are all similar to each other. Next are the boom, boom, boom rhythm songs, which are also pathetically primitive, taken only with the rhythm and nothing more (Lithuania, ...) Is the listener so primitive that he will only go for the boom, boom rhythm? We will see. My top 5 semifinal 1 would include only these: Ireland, Croatia. Poland (boom rhythm but in better meaning of this), Ukraine, Luxembourg. I could say that semifinal 2 is a lot better in quality than semifinal 1.
