- For years Triathletes have flocked to the island of Lanzarote for its warm climates, smooth roads and it's tough climbs. We thought we'd gather a load of top pros including Tim Don, Lucy Charles-Barclay and Andreas Dreitz and race them up one of the hardest, Tabayesco. Could we beat them?

So what's so great about Lanzarote again? The shallow climbs? Living in Switzerland and having twice the elevation gain every other weekend as a beginner cyclist I kinda don't get it
