We teach similar. Once reverse starts, we get trainee to 3/4 turn left and keep on until we have 4 cones left mirror and one in left. Works every time on last few types of training buses we have.
@DrivingPsychology Arriva, something you said really helped me. I'm looking for tips on how to steer without having to constantly prevent the bus from pulling to the left.
@@redblue2723 The camber of the road will pull the bus to the left. Also your heads position in space means that you will default to what you recognise from driving a car. Meaning your head will tell you that you need to go back to the left. Just imagine driving your car with the passenger door wide open to get the idea?
