Don't forget John Paul Jones on bass; he's killin' it!! This song is actually taken from Blind Willie Johnson, 1927.
I was gonna say the same thing.
They were, are and WILL ALWAYS BE the ultimate rock band..
JB greatest drummer of all time, making it look so easy ❤❤❤
Thanks for the Led Zeppelin
My favorite band since 1969❤
Do you hear JPJ on that bass...holy moly! The GOATS...PERIOD!!!!!!
I wonder how many times Robert looked at his band, Jimmy Fcking Page, and just said...I have the most amazing drummer, guitarist, bass player on the planet. And their admiration of him as their front man, lead singer. Every single time, perfectly coordinated. Amazing performance. PAGE = GOAT
I was sitting in that crowd … probably the most memorable of many, many rock concerts I have attended.
C'mon alot of people say they were there, but never have proof 🤔🤔🤔
I love seeing so many, especially young people enjoying this amazing band, that I’ve loved for about 50 years. Yes they all have so much passion, they absolutely loved preforming, especially in concert. Their concerts would last 3 to 4 hours, no stopping & taking breaks. Tickets to their concerts ranged early years $4 to about $8.50 in later years. They each are the GOATS at their crafts, & together they are the GODS of music, I can’t say rock since they played all kinds. I’m glad you enjoyed your journey, but if you haven’t heard all their music, I hope you continue reacting or not. Thank you.
If you haven't already, Trampled Under Foot, from same concert as this one, 75' Earls Court.
They were GOATS before they started LED ZEPPELIN they became BEYOND EPIC INTERGALACTIC INTERSTELLOR GOATS OF ENORMOUS PORPOTIONS AND TIL THIS DAY THEY ARE STILL THE GOATS PERIOD AND ALWAYS WILL BE 😀😃🙂🙃😊😇😀
You gotta love that $30 stand up bass .
You found an amazing version of this song
Led Zeppelin working their magic, taking people's breath away for the last 53yrs .... and counting 😄
My recommendation - start from album 1 song 1 and work your way through.
Enjoy 😉
I requested this to be played at my funeral
GOATS! They dont have 1 bad song! It like having 4 Michael Jordans in the Band!! Enjoy buddy. My fav band. Im 47 years old and Im so glad to see the new generation appreciate great music and art! Thanks Big Dawg!
I only wanted to have some fun…
Amazing performance of this amazing song. Check out Trampled Underfoot by them. There’s a great live version from this same performance too.
You’ll also enjoy achilles last stand , communication breakdown, The Ocean, how many more times, heartbreaker, d’yer mak’er without a doubt there unique sound and versatility is endless😵💫🤩😃
I can only say...magnificent! The perfect timing! They never miss!
Heartbreaker LIVE!
at Montreaux, Switzerland 1970.
Best Intro Ever
My favorite song of theirs. Unfortunately the bass is a little too low here but John Paul Jones is killing it, as usual.
ZEPPELIN =GOAT…. Fact……if you’re enjoying watching them, then I think you would really like Whole Lotta Love Live from MSG 1973. I also recommend from same concert Dazed &Confused (warning 28 minutes long) this showcases how insanely not humanly possible effin great Jimmy was/is. Then there is The Song Remains The Same/The Rain Song that are just over the top fabulous masterpieces….note the last 2 are from their concert movie from 1976 called The Song Remains The Same and contain dream sequences Jimmy’s is during Dazed & Robert’s is during The Rain Song. Loving your reactions and love of the almighty Zeppelin!!!! Reminds me of me in 1970!!!! Rock on 🤘☮️🔥
Your eyes were glazed over...yup, you're hooked. 👍❤🤙
Jon Bonham beatin them drums like they owe him money.
That bass is sick !!!!!
YOUR SMILE SAYS IT ALL! ☺
It is said that Elvis Presley (who once met the band) advised his musicians to play well if the Zeppelin were in town, in case they got shown up!
Yeah this just reminded me this is right there with Stairway. Incredible band - like no other. Whole different level of genius. As bad ass at it will ever get. 73 on Long Island and 77 at MSG. I was 13/17. Kinda knew then a rock show could never get any better. I was right. We literally wore out records and blew up many a speaker! Tell me what show could come near this now? LOL
its that damn slide!
I'm not a religious person but just love this!
Dude you got all of this band it's my favorite and I think it's the best fan in ever I've seen him 20 times at least the first time I saw was to feel more East 1970 New York City yeah I'm on old fort but I grew up during the best time the best music can't take that away. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
the goat!
its about to crazy
God bless the glass slider 🙆♂️
You should do the how many more times live 1970 Royal Albert hall live it's Zeppelin at its peak performance
You're gonna love this one!
Try Stairway to Heaven and Dazed and Confused then work your way through the entire catalog. You won't be disappointed!
It ain’t about Jimmy. It’s all about BONHAM. It would not kick so much ass without him. He was the driving force of Zeppelin……
Also jimmy page has been playing guitar since he was 12 yrs old
Jimmy Page channeling forces of the universe through his guitar.
The Best! ❤️
My top 5 songs today:
Achilles Last Stand/Live/Knebworth
Dazed and Confused/Studio ver.
Four Sticks/Studio ver.
In The Evening/Live/Knebworth
Song Remains The Same & The Rain Song/Live/MSG(must be played together)
Greatest band ever! Robert is the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen. However your pretty damn cute.😎
This is a reworking of a Blind Willie Johnson song. Robert often threw in bits of other songs when they performed live, for example, when he says "so I gave her the gun and I shot her", that was a nod to Jimi Hendrix's performance of the song "Hey Joe" and near the end when he sings "I know you shook me baby, you shook me all night long" is a reference to their recording of the song "You Shook Me" (originally written by Willie Dixon and JB Lenoir, it was recorded by Muddy Waters) which was on their first album. Here's a video of them lip syncing it to the album cut. Even though they're lip syncing, I'm including it just so you can see how young they were. czcams.com/video/OM3kl-hg4rI/video.html Also, be ready if you react to the link of Dazed and Confused that Desiree N.M sent you because it is 28 minutes long and showcases one of the best performances of this song ever. So, charge the batteries on your recording equipment, have some water ready, hell - even have some popcorn because it is going to be a trip!
Did Robert Johnson do this too, or are you thinking of Blind Willy Johnson, who recorded it in '27?
@@aulduronsmith5577 you are 100% correct! Thanks so much and I've edited my response. 😊
There was a one time reunion of the band minus the drummer John Bonham who had died so his son Jason took his place and there were 20 million tickets request in 20 minutes for that one time show! The GOATs...saw them at MSG in 1973 and have been a Zeppelin junkie ever since
You should check him at 12 yrs old his band Skittles on BBC television 1955
One more thing there unnatural uncanny beyond perfectional ability and skill technique too take on the spot especially live a 5 too 8 min song and turn it into 20 min or more musical symphony of 🔥 epicness greatness and really blow the crowd away everytime period 😀😃🙂🙃😊😇😀😃 They were the only real true undisputed Masters of it Period 😀😃🙂🙃😊 Nobody else even came close Period 😀😃🙂🙃😊😀😃🙂🙃😊😀 They were the SHIT and still are the SHIT 😀
Too damn good!!
Milestone series of concerts in Rock history. You need to listen to Trampled Underfoot from the same concert.
Please don't forget John Paul Jones. He's incredible on bass. At the end of the song he referenced You Shook Me.....you should definitely do that song
Believe it or not, This is an OLD gospel song called "Jesus gonna make my dying day" by Blind Willie Johnson in 1928
Rythym section on Bass
John Paul Jones ( Jonesey )
Drums > John Bonham (Bonzo)
As great as Jimmy, Robert, and John B. are, you need to go back and listen to the bass of John Paul. It is absolutely one of the best bass solos in the history of Rock N Roll.
I understand if you missed it. A lot of people do because they just don't understand precisely what it is that John Paul brings to Led Zeppelin. I'll try to explain.
The greatest of all artist, Michael Angelo, creates this incredible masterpiece. He invites his three best friends, who are also incredible artist, to add a little something of their own because of these three friends he has known since they were all painting on the street in the market square. All of them know how incredible the painting is already so each chooses to add just a little bit from their own souls, so as not take from the beauty of the masterpiece, but only add their distinct beauty in the composition that they fully understand to be a work of art they themselves must acknowledge.
Now, go back and listen intently to the bass, and you will understand what it is John Paul brings to the group.
Time for The Immigrant Song from Australia 1972 !
Next video zeppelin dazed n confused live from Madison square garden 1973 it's 28 minutes long
Subscribed on that one. 👍❤🤙
Jimmy Page's adoption of a Danelectro on footage like this contributed to the revival of the brand. It certainly gave him some control in this case. The group were forced to fly into London and play a small number of gigs before getting out again, as the Labour government had levied a 95% tax on unearned income that would hit them if they stayed at home longer.
Great job my man! Maggot 69
Achilles last stand live
Gypsy blood flows in Robert Plant.
Why they call them the best rock band of all time? You have the answers
Yasss!! Absolutely incredible performance from beginning to end no matter how many times you watch it!
You gotta react to dazed and confused 🤩 🙏🏻
czcams.com/video/ZQgYn23Xvck/video.html this live performance is just musically satisfying🎶🙌🏼
I’ll react to that next!
@@IMKingSupreme TY 😀 You wont be disappointed! ɪᴛs ʟɪᴛ🔥🎶
John Paul Jones is destroying that bass, and the rest of the band is so great you don't hardly notice.
Immigrant Song!
