- Hi fam! Today we're FINALLY testing the new Hourglass Veil Setting Spray. I'm taking this unique formula for a spin on a full face of makeup, the level of which I would liken to what I wore on my wedding day, minus false lashes. It was near 100 degrees in Austin this day, and I wanted to wait for a hot day so I could test this setting spray's very lofty claims. Did it stack up? And more importantly, is it worth the $48 price tag?

this definitely made me curious if i would like it over my more minimal makeup style. i like lightweight and dewey ish makeup but i don’t like to be shiny and i want to improve wear time. hope they come out with a mini.

Can you repurchase the smashbox spray then do a wear test with that vs this? Like half of your face with smashbox and the other half with this? I also used to use the smashbox but I haven’t used it in forever

Having an outdoor wedding in the dead of summer and I’ve been sooo worried about the longevity of my makeup, wish they sold a mini version but definitely going to be trying this setting spray!!

I did buy this for my wedding day but sense the cornevirse came have I know it's going to be in los Vegas but numbers are high there but the heat is bad there. Yet im still planning the dates.

Lol I am a VERY modest sweater. My husband will sit in 80 degree weather and just SWEAT. Sitting there. I can run for a good 5 minutes or so in 95 degrees plus and my body literally asks me, “sweat now?” And I go, “yeah, it’s ok.” So I’m weird that way.

I got sidetracked with this video....you used the Thrive Perfect Palette in Warm Neutrals....I own this, love the colors, but can’t seem to apply very well. I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong....your eyes were gorgeous!!!
What brushes are you using? The Wayne Goss brushes make me look like I know what I'm doing.

It did perfect your makeup! Not sure if it would work on oily skin though. Any oily girls try it?
Oh there are a lot more reviews I saw. One girl with oilier skin did the spray on half her face and the other without spray and wore it for 12 hours! I think her name is NessacxBeauty.
I have combo skin (normal cheeks, oily tzone, dry undereyes) and I LOVE it! I spray 1-2 times on each side (not over the tzone). And I du dust the Hourglass powder after the Spray just like shown in the video.
My makeup lasts well, is not sticky and does not break me out.
