There is a difference between Fixing Sprays and Setting sprays, tho the terms are used interchangeably. Fixing sprays, like the UD All Nighter, are usually higher in alcohol (not always) and have ingredients that evaporate, but they glue the make up (fix it) to your face. Setting sprays usually are non-alcohol containing (or much less) and are designed to melt the layers of the makeup together, and set them together.
Jen Dunn I’ve always taken sprays as being setting vs. finishing sprays. Setting to set your makeup in place and finishing to meld makeup together. I agree that everyone tends to use all the different terms interchangeably!

Half the time I forget to apply eye primer. 😊When I DO remember, I use ABH (I'm very fair), or Paintpot in Painterly. Somehow, I've never gotten into setting sprays. I work 4 hours a day......anything will last THAT long! I love your videos. Thanks for being here! 😚
Love your makeup on this video. Bright pop of color but natural everywhere else. Sometimes too much makeup everywhere can look harsh but you nailed this subdued but bright and vibrant look
First of all your skin is perfection!! My favorite eye primer is the Mac Painterly paint pot. It has been my go to for years and my shadows never crease. Loved the eye color on you!! 🥰

Totally stunk..lol my eyelids would peel all the time, someone mentioned it could be the Paint pots so I stopped using them and it went away. But, totally agree, amazing shadow primer. My shadows never budged over that stuff❤❤ I'm glad you are still able to use it and love it. Jealous 💋

You look fantastic in mint! That price breakdown was very interesting. Hourglass always gets me, I dont know what it is but their products just work for me. Usually I skip setting spray and use a ambient lightning powder instead but bluring pores... well that sounds worth trying :) Eyelid primers are a must for me because of my oily hooded lids. Can’t wait to try the setting spray! Great review. The Dior is pricey ( IMO) because it’s actually a primer as well not just a mist. I love the glow recipe as a refresher during the day, it’s watermelon juice essentially and it does not make my makeup last longer.

I really want to try this setting spray, I am ALL FOR anything that will BLUR my face.🤣🤣🤣 DIOR! Setting spray you mentioned not buying- is AMAZEBALLS! I have both colors and yes because its so expensive i wont use it daily! The one that is color 002 is the BEST tara we have similar skin tones and you would LOVE IT! I really love the Smashbox photo finish 24 hour eyeshadow primer. I feel like it’s very underrated. My shadows never crease and look the same after 16 hours of wear as when I first applied them. It’s $22 for 11g of product, which is $2 per gram. I also like the YSL setting spray. It’s very hydrating and makes my makeup look so good. I don’t know that I would say it makes my makeup last longer. It’s $34 for 100ml, or $2.94 per ml. For YSL I feel like it’s not too bad a price. I really wish all nighter didn’t dry my skin out because it for sure makes my makeup last a lot longer.
I’m gonna try the spray if it comes back in stock during sale. Have you tried the Gerard cosmetics slay all day spray? It prob would be good for you locks in but not over dying gives slight sheen but not glowy or oily. Not gettin eye primer. I’ve been using tatcha liq silk canvas and just spread it over my closed eyes when puttin on face and it makes shadows pop

I just ordered the setting spray- I liked the ingredients in this setting spray more than most in other brands...I don’t feel the Glow Recipe is really a setting spray- more of a refresher, IMHO. Didn’t get the eye primer-yet... not sure I need it- I still have one that I use and I never use much, to be honest. I did order the Armani Lumious Primer because I tried it earlier when it first launched in store and it is just gorgeous-with amazing ingredients. I have really been loving it he Armani Luminous concealer as well.
Have you tried the makeup forever setting spray? Besides the spray itself, the product is fantastic in my opinion, it locks my makeup in place, specially eyeshadows that aren't long lasting on their own. And it doesn't dry down my skin ❤

Do you use Latisse? If so that's the reason for your eyelid discoloration. It did the same thing to me it made look sooo tired and it made me eyelid sockets really hollow

The Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist is more expensive than all of these including Dior and Tom Ford! At $48 for a mere 1.35 oz. THAT’S RIDICULOUS. The hourglass is the same price but with literally 3 times the product at 4.05 oz. Being that I temporarily went insane and spent the money for the Tatcha, I don’t see this price being too much. Hell, if I hear the Hourglass getting good feedback, off to Sephora’s website I go 🏃♀️😂
You need to be careful when trying to price comparison because some of these are price compared in grams and some in milliliters, and if you’re just looking at the bottom price it can be misleading. Just saying to take a second look before you make a decision based on cost.

You need to try the new Morphe luminous setting spray. It melts makeup and powder together and holds up all day. No alcohol! Great review thank you 💕
