If the gas port was misaligned, it would constantly jam, not intermittently. DD is a high-end manufacturer; they are not going to put their rifles together incorrectly. I have contacted DD, and they said the largest issue they find with jams, is cheaper ammo that is not always correctly charged. It would have been an important item for you to describe what brands of ammo you were using, there are real differences in ammo quality in 300blk and in todays inflated market, lots of people are buying substandard cheaper ammo that can cause issues.
Love the videos keep up the good work
With a much as it jammed in this video, I wouldn’t spend my money that❗️ Especially at its 2k+ price point. For that amount of money it has to be more reliable. Thank for the review, great video.
That's what we were thinking. Trued both springs and same results.
Mine came with 2 buffer springs. One for use with a suppressor & the other one without a suppressor sub or supersonic.
They just had the wrong spring. You nailed it.
For what we were shooting we had the wrong spring. Owner didn't bring them both. That's why we mentioned the need for an update video. Thanks for watching!
I will tell you from experience..changing the spring made mine do this.. put original back with my can..runs great
Exactly mine came like yours with the same explanation
Which spring is suppose to be used for suppressor?
Did you guys review the stock gun? Doesn’t look stock. Looks like y’all put a longer hand guard on there, which brings to question the integrity of the review.
That was stock. Only adjustment was wave supressor. Nothing else was changed.
I agree with the comments here. 1) yours doesn’t look like stock. 2) I have one, never had any issue and just about all of the reviews on it, and yours is the only one with these issues. 3) if you altered the stock, then you negate your review…try again!
@@mwmagwrong. Something is off here
I had the same jamming problems the first time I ran a supressor. The bolt fouled after a few mags, so I swapped out the bolt to a nitride coated bolt, lubed it, and the weapon has run perfectly since. The old bolt (total of 300 rounds) I attempted to clean but Lord, it was carbonized and completely funky.
Good review.
Mine runs pretty flawlessly with no malfunctions to speak of. I don''t have a can and just run supers though.
Thanks Skinski7. Once we get this going it is going to be a great gun for sure. Thanks for watching.
Just got mine. Suppressed and threw the red spring away. 500 rds with not a single failure.
Hey guys when is your part two coming out? I’m experiencing the same thing with my DDW
Now I am confused. You guys say that one spring is for subsonics and the other is for supersonics, but DD says one is for suppressed and the other for unsuppressed, sub or super. I'll wait for the clarification, but meanwhile I've just bought one to be run unsuppressed, as suppressors are illegal where I live.
That is correct.
Is there a follow up to this video on how to fix? Mine has the same issue with both supers and subs
Apparently not and that is kinda lame of them! Did you swap your spring per the user manual?
Nice video, I have the DDM4 PDW and yours does not look correct there is no way to get a suppressor under the hand guard like yours. I use the spring that came in the gun
with a Omega 36M suppressor on it and it runs flawlessly with super or subs. The only thing I changed was the trigger I put a CMC flat trigger in it. the spring that is not in the gun is for unsuppressed subsonic ammo.
Agreed. They tweaked it and, maybe they are having a cycling because of the physical modifications to that gun. I have this with a dd wave can and it runs pretty well the 220 gr subs.
I was wondering the same thing there aint no way thats the ddm4 pdw mine is way shorter
@@JLandoBando agreed they F it up 🤣
Mine runs greatly and a representative for DD told me that one spring was for both super and subs the other spring was for sub sonic only
I have the same issue with mine. Jams a lot.
I thought the springs were for suppressed and unsuppressed? But I’ve been wrong before.
If you’re always gonna shoot suppressed, throw the red spring away.
Won’t be subscribing because yall seem very uninformed about the gun you reviewed
Something is off here. That hand guard isn’t stock
bro got a discord mic 💀
WHATEVER SUPRSSOR YOU HAVE ON THAT TAKE IT OFF IMMEDIATELY THATS LOUD ASF
Not getting one
Good decision.
Guys, you had the wrong spring. This review is a wash, you should delete this video.
Happened with both springs on multiple range days.
I have this gun and it runs flawlessly with the correct spring using a can. This gun in the video is not stock. Bad review = bad channel, block
