  • Pot painted with acrylic paint mixed with floetrol / Flood (product you can buy in Home Depot or Lowe's in the paint department)
I first covered the pot with a glue called Mod Podge, which by the way on the long run it didn't stand the water test. The paint began to peel of after a few months of heavy watering. But if you are using the pot for cacti or succulents, watering only once a week or every two weeks the paint will do just fine.
Instead of Mod podge is best to use Kilz2 all purpose, interior/exterior sealer and stainblocker. You can buy it at Lowe's or Home Depot. Let it dry for One hour.
Colors I used in this video:
Alizarin Crimson/ Soft body by Master's touch
Burnt Umber/ Full body by Liquitex
unbleached titanium / soft body by Liquitex Basics
Medium Flood/Floetrol (you can find this product at Lowe's or Home Depot)
If you don't have access to Floetrol use a Glue medium
Follow this link to how to make your own glue medium with school glue or Glue All, both of these glues work but Glue All works best. • #068 how to make your ...

Why did the paint peel off?

The layer of glue was not given enough time to cure. I began to allow from 28 days to 30 days for the glue to cure.

I also updated the description box, you can find the materials I used there. By the way I don't use the mod pudge glue as my primer any more, now I use paint primer I get at the paint store such as Home Depot. The primer is called Kilz2 All-Purpose Interior/Exterior it works better. Cheers
