Glass Vase
12 x 12 Stretched Canvas
Colors: 1 part paint to pouring medium
DecoArt Dazzling Metallics White Pearl
DecoArt Elegant Splendid Gold
Artist Loft Flow Acrylic Black mixed with
Artist Loft Ready Mixed Metallic Black
Pouring Medium: 1 part of each to paint
Floetrol
GAC 800
Some helpful tips:
Clean vase with rubbing alcohol before pouring.
No water added to any paints. Consistency must be thick. A mound on a mound on a mound thick. 😁
Be sure to use a popsicle stick to remove the drips from the edge of the vase carefully. Repeat every 5 to 10 minutes until the drips stop completely. This ensures a smooth edge that won’t require sanding the edges once the paint dries. I usually allow vase to cure between 4 to 6 weeks before sealing it with resin.
Thank you for stopping by! ❤️

Both the vase and the canvase are amazingly beautiful
I've never seen a split cup. I can see that it's a wedge shape, but how did you make it ?
OMG, JANET!!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! I am so far behind in watching your videos-sorry. But I am so enjoying catching up. Your art is so astounding!!!🥰
Awe Sparkle, thank you so much! ❤️
I don't know if this piece is for sale, but I would love it. All I can think of is our dear friend Deidre.
My friend gave me a huge face 2 1/2 to 3 foot one I’m gonna be painting I haven’t figured out how or what I rested on first I don’t think I’m gonna do a canvas I think it’s too big but I got a hang on to the wasted paint use it as a flow maybe that is beautiful thanks for sharing that
Hi Janet i just love the pours. They are so beautiful. Not sure where you get you paints and such from . I also recently found out that they have pre-mixed individual paints were you don’t have to calculate the ratios . I was hoping you could let me know. Thanks for sharing you craft with us .karen
First time seeing your video. Absolutely love the split cup. Please send me a reply on how to use or where I can get the split cup. God bless and have a beautiful day. Thanks.
Hi Janet, this is the first time I’ve see your work and it’s absolutely beautiful. My question for you is how did you make the split cup? I’ve never seen that technique before.
The 3 way split pouring device is a key tool.
I see an angel
Beautiful vase and canvas. May I ask where you found the vase please? Thanks so very much.
Beautiful thanks for sharing ❤️ could you please can you tell me where I can find the yellow divide thanks 😊 🙏
The best vase pour i have seen also very pleasant music ; Well Done 💕
I love this, where do you get the three spirit cup?
Thank you Frances. The split cup was given to me as a gift.
I wonder if a suctionncup on the base would lift it easily?
I loved watching this video. It was my first time to your channel. I was wondering if you have a video of the vase at the beginning (it looks like mauves and gold?) Also, if I wanted to learn how to do pours and all supplies needed to accomplish this, is there a place you would recommend to learn how to get started? Thank you!
Hi Deborah and Welcome! 😊
The vase you saw at the beginning of this video was done before I started my channel, so unfortunately I do not have a video for that one. My best advice to you would be to continue to watch as many Videos of various fluid artists. There are several how to videos for beginners. I watched videos for about 3 to 4 months before I started. I took various notes from several artists. I reviewed their description boxes for details on supplies they used as well as recipes for the pouring mediums used. I purchase most of my paints and canvases from Michael’s. The vases I pick up at local thrift stores. The tiles I use are leftovers from when I had my house tiled. But you can pick up those from your local home improvement stores. Each technique requires different consistencies and the best way to learn is by studying various videos on CZcams. Keep in mind that once you begin it will require a lot of trial and error. One artist’s recipe that works for them, may not work for you. Different paint brands and color colors can effect consistency. There are plenty of premixed, ready to pour paints available to. Perhaps start there. Buy some of those along with some inexpensive canvases and it a try. Walmart usually carries them. Once you get some practice with that, you can then advance into mixing your own pouring mediums to mix with your paints. I hope this helps. You are always welcome to reach out to me with any other questions. Best of luck to you on the beginning of your fluid art journey. It’s definitely addicting! 😁. Let me know how it goes! ❤️
@@acryliccreationsbyjwitty8074 Thank you so much for all the tips! I hope to start making things shortly!
How do you prepare the glass for this process?
Use styrofoam cups support the vase better when pouring the paint.
how do you finish these pieces, a varnish or glass finish please
what do you do with the back of the canvas to keep it clean please, this is a stunning peace, looks loke peace and angels.
Hi Bernice! This was actually poured over a 12 x 12 tile. I tape off the back of all my canvases and tiles using frog tape. Thank you for watching! ❤️
is the paint thick or thin? and did you mix the paint with water and/or floerol?
looks like a lady at the center. Just gorgeous and perfect
After the vase is dry do you have to put a spray or some kind of coating on it
Hi Deborah! I resin the vase.
I don't know the gac800 .Can u please let me know about it?
what is ghc800?
Where do you get a Tri-cup?
New to this. What is the gac 800 for?
When using a thicker paint consistency, GAC 800 prevents cracking and crazing.
My creations need a added focus, some look like fantasy worlds or crystal underground caves.
Скажите пожалуйста какие это краски? Акриловые или масляные?
What did you use as a finish for the vase and canvas?
I will be using resin.
@@acryliccreationsbyjwitty8074 Resin for the vase...and what will be the varnish for the acrylic please???
Are you using real glass or plexiglass?
What is the purpose of the gac800
Hi Gloria. Because the consistency of the paint is fairly thick, the GAC 800 prevents and cracking or crazing during the drying process.
What paints do you use please?
Hi! All the paints I used in this pour along with the pouring mediums are listed in the description box of this video. Just tap the title and it will take you there. Thank you for watching! ❤️
I use recycled styrofoam cups.
What is a "split cup"??
