- It's absolutely amazing! Well it was, 'somebody' kept it LOL but at least I still got a video out of it..
It does extremely well, as you can see from the egg pan, saves so much time and effort and produces a very good result.

Thanks for testing this out with real dirty dishes and not fake ones like other videos 👌🏼 Definitely going to but it now.
I never rinse or soak my dishes, I put cheesy pots in this, burnt stuff, etc, and I very very rarely have to run anything through a second time.
The soap enzymes and surfactants disolve it into liquid and it washes down the drain
This is the chillest and most helpful review I've seen out there. Great demo too btw!
Thanks 👍 😊
I have the same machine. It's been going strong every day for 5 years now. I think it's a great machine.
Oh yeah, it's an amazing dishwasher, it has saved so much time, effort and everything.
one of the best demo video , thank you!
this is exactly the bro i need to do reviews. keepn it chill bro. power on!
I just bought one of these. Thanks for the great review!
I just want you to know that I love your channel and content. You're an amazing person ❤
Thank you so much for your kind words 💜
@@NathanaelNewton Yeah dude ^_^ 💛
I’ve had the exact same dishwasher for about two years and I love it it’s worth every penny and such a timesaver
Do you turn the water on the whole time it is running?
Water has to be turned on for the whole time but it only uses about 7 or 8 liters
Wow this is a great review thank you for this lm getting one for sure thanks so much for sharing!!!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching :)
Great! It answered alot of the questions I had! :D
I ordered one of these because of your review. Thank you!!
Awesome! I've had mine for a year now and it's still working great :)
How do u like it?
@@MzHarlem127 it works well! it’s kind of a pain figuring where to store the hoses. But otherwise it is great and does a good job!
@@duckdystany can you tell me please ,on which store can I by the same Dishwasher like that because I didn’t find anywhere ,thanks so much 🙏
Fantastic review. Moving soon to an apartment without a dishwasher and what I will lose in counterspace will be well worth it. Also sir, you are dummy thicc. Love your nail polish too.
Thanks for review. You're one of only people I see actively responding to comments on this model. I have a question about the size. Trying to figure out if it will fit on my counter. I see online the depth dimension is quoted as 19.69". Is this figure measured from the front edge to the far back edge of the unit, or from front edge to the start of the cut-out where the power/water connections are hidden. I see in your video you have the cutout tucked onto the lip of your countertop (0:00:53). I'm trying to figure out if I have enough depth/space on my counter after doing this, and I can't find any details about if this 19.69" inches describes the shorter or longer dimension of the unit. Thanks in advance for any information about my question.
As far as I can guess, I'd say that this is measured from the front edge to the far back edge of the unit, not the cutout. Unfortunately I do not have access to this machine anymore, this was at my ex's house and I have no way of checking.
The specs PDF on danby's website says Product WxDxH 21.7" x 19.7" x 17.2"
I would be very surprised if they're quoting the distance to the cutout and not the full cube specifications
thanks for the review, this is the best review for this model that actual put it to the test. waiting on ups for mine. do you use any of the "dishwasher cleaners"? also have the soap pods caused any issues?
I do not use dishwasher cleaners, I've not needed them, the dishwasher is always as clean as the dishes at the end of the cycle.
I have not had any issues with washing pods.. I have used the ones that have a little pod that goes in with the dishes for a pre-wash cycle and I've used the cascade ones that do not have a pre-wash tab. I intend however, to purchase powder going forward as I find the pods to be over-priced and not as good as powder. Thanks for watching!
Awesome review! Thank you! Is there a spot behind the dishwasher where you can neatly tuck/ravel the hose?
Thanks for watching!
Not really no.. We wrap ours around a rack we attached to the wall above the sink.
Thank you
I just purchased this same one I had a older one on wheels now I do live in a house but its 1800s and the kitchen is not huge so I gave away the portable one on wheels and got this model I'm liking it thus far will see how long it lasts since things are not built to last anymore got mine for $100 off amazon
Oh wow! That's an amazing deal! Mine was a bit over $300 haha
Hello sir! Does the dishwasher must be located at a certain height? or Is it functional located at floor level? My main concern is to drain correctly. Happy to receive your answer!
Hi, the Dishwasher has a pump Inside it that puts the water into the sink, I'm not sure I could work from floor level but it definitely has a pressurized stream of water that goes into the drain, so it would probably work.
@@NathanaelNewton thanks sir!
How has it held up?. Did the water arm bend?. Saw an angry guy on Amazon who said the heat warped it causing noise. Curious if yours is ok please and thank you
It's still working great today, my water is not over 60 C so it's been fine
Hi! Been thinking of getting one. Is the spike on electricity bill significant?
No, not at all, especially if you have electric hot water, in which case you will save money because of the reduction in hot water consumption versus doing them by hand.
If I use cold or lukewarm faucet water, does the Danby dishwasher boils the water before the dishwasher starts cleaning the dishes?
The dishwasher will slowly heat up the water using the internal heating element, it will not boil it -- it will only heat it up to about 63 degrees Celsius
I like it but I like more counter space as well. Hope it’s working for you.
110% worth the lost counter space, saves so much time, water and energy and does an amazing job cleaning the dishes
I put mine on a cart I have limited counter space
Does the water faucet have to be on (running) during the whole cycle?
Technically no but you probably want to leave it on.
I am considering getting this washer. I have never had to hook up to a sink before.
Are there any issues of the hose not fitting on the tap? For turning the faucet on, is it just a slow trickle?
Hey is that dishwasher enough for a 2-3 person household?
Yes
How long did it take to run this cycle of cleaning? Round an hour or half an hour?
About an hour and a half, some Cycles are faster than others
I just ordered one. I hate doing dishes too😖
Nice!
Is there an option to put water in without the hose? My kitchen sink is not compatible.
No unfortunately there is not, does your kitchen sink tap have an aerator that you can unscrew?
Alternatively you could have someone run a water pipe, it wouldn't be too hard.
Can you still use normal faucet functions with the hoses attached to it?
Not really no, there's a button to get water out but it's easier just to remove them and get your water and replace the hoses
Only real portable dishwasher test on youtube.
These all seem to be made by the same factory in China with different front doors. I have a Danby Countertop dishwasher (DDW631SDB) and the yellow supply connector accepts a dishwasher connector kit. Only need to buy three things from ACE Hardware. (Dishwasher Supply Line #4061180 $25.99, 3/8in Repair Valve #4309399 $14.99, Add A Tee Adapter #4309001 $12.49).
Supply 2nd: To use the same supply hose but cut off the end and add an extension. (1/2 in. Barb X 3/8 in. Comp Brass Adapter #4000473 $6.99, 3/8in Stainless Steel Supply Line #4058681 $9.99 , and a Hose Clamp #41143 $2.59).
The drain side: You have a few options, pull the bottom of the dishwasher off, pull the gray hose from the drain connector, unscrew and replace connector with (3/4in barb coupling #4568242 $2.79, 3/4in Vinyl Tubing, dishwasher tailpiece #43783 $7.59, Tailpiece Washer #44373 $2.49, and two hose clamps #41143 $2.59).
Drain 2nd: You can also size down to 1/2in (1/2in X 3/4in Barb Coupling #4568259 $2.39, 1/2in Braided Vinyl Tubing #4315503 $16.99, Dishwasher Branch Tailpiece w/ 5/8in outlet, Tailpiece Washer #44373 $2.49, and two Hose Clamps #41143 $2.59).
Drain 3rd: What I did to use the same connector, cut off the end and add an extension. (1/2 in. Barb X 1/2 in. Barb Galvanized Steel Coupling #41763 $4.99, Cut to measure 1/2in Braided Vinyl Tubing #4027603 $1.79/foot, Dishwasher Branch Tailpiece w/ 5/8in outlet, Tailpiece Washer #44373 $2.49, and two Hose Clamps #41143 $2.59).
I made a hole in the stainless steel sink and run the lines down under the sink through a Bulkhead ABS Slip x Slip fitting to make the hole nice.
Wow! Thank you for sharing that, I'm sure it will help other people locate the Hardware they need 😀 💜
Dude, you really needed a dishwasher. You had about a week of dishes in your first runs. LOL!
Well when you're the only one doing the dishes for multiple people, eventually you get fed up and order a dishwasher online.
Once you've ordered a dishwasher online there's obviously no point in washing them by hand because you have a dishwasher coming in the post lmao
@@NathanaelNewton Looks like money well spent.
@@NathanaelNewton This is exactly why I’m considering buying one! I think I’m gonna stroke out if I have one more fight with my partner abt dishes 🤯
Someone bless me with danby dishwasher, my hands are a mess, bless me with one
I know right?.. I have so many videos of me washing dishes LMAO
Does it drain the water on its own or do you have to press anything to drain it
It drains on its own, it has a pump where all the water gets removed automatically
How do i wash this or keep it clean? And where does the food gunk it washes away go? Lol i really wanna avoid a clog
There is a washable removable strainer at the bottom of the machine that collects the largest food chunks but most stuff goes down the drain
Just got mine but it leaks at the faucet?! :( not sure what I’m doing wrong
Depends on where exactly it's leaking, is it leaking from the hoses or from the faucet adapter?
If it's from the hoses then you might need to add some teflon tape or tighten them, if it's from the faucet adapter then I'm not sure.
2023 y aun no me decido en uno😊...es buena la marca danby entonces??
Yes it's surprisingly good
How big was your largest plate. Be careful with Pods in these type machines. I have read they shorten its life. That frying pan was a great test. My kid never thinks of using the Brillo pad.
I believe it's a 12 inch dinner plate. They can be a bit hard to fit but they can be done.
I don't use pods at all anymore, I use dry powder and do not fill the container, you really don't need much soap with these machines.
Frying pans sometimes do need a bit of extra scrubbing.
When you turn the faucet on does it have to be hot water?
Technically no but you'll use a lot of electricity with your machine heating the water.
I have never tried so I don't know for sure what would happen..
@@NathanaelNewton ok thanks. I ask because we have a small water heater, with electric well pump.
This model uses a very small amount of water -- something like 1 and 1/2 gallons (5-6 liters) I think.. I would have to check the owner's manual again and I don't have a copy of it anymore
@@NathanaelNewton thanks for the help!
I have this dishwasher and I only turn on the cold water. It heats up the water for you and it works totally fine that way.
Does it have a dry feature?
Yes, well it sanitizes and heats up hot enough that if you open the machine most of the water escapes as steam. The rest dries off quickly after that.
How heavy is it on a scale to 1 to 10
About 18 kg/ 40 lbs
I have question can this be installed in cabinet?
Yes it is possible
Holy shit you look just like Shannon Hoon :0
I had to look that guy up.. I'm not really up on musicians.
I mentioned this to my fiancé and she's kind of shook right now hahahah
Is it possible to have this permanently hooked up to water? If so, how?
Yes, however you would likely need to get a plumber to do it for you.
There are hoses that can be removed/cut/adjusted to attach to a dedicated faucet however it's designed to attach to a sink with an aerator. You unscrew the aerator and attack a quick connect that's just like the one used on an air tool like a nailgun.
@@NathanaelNewton The yellow supply connector accepts a dishwasher connector kit. ACE Hardware sells a Dishwasher Supply Line kit. You may need a valve and add-a-tee to connect under the sink. The drain side takes more creativity, but can be done.
Is where is all that water going? Do you have to drain it? Is it going into off a pan or something you have to drain?
The water drains into the sink, that's why there are two pipes, one is a supply and the other is the drain
Where does it drain?
It drains below the sink faucet.
Where does the food and water go??.?
There is a drain hose below the water pipe that expels everything into the sink.
*Edit*
Anyone who's told you that there's a miniature world inside the machine where the water is cleaned and the food is reprocessed to feed a small city of whos was lying to you..
What size is this
50 x 55 x 43.8 centimeters
I LOVE MINE BUT CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY THE CYCLES ARE SOOOOO LONG
I agree the pot / default cycle does take a while however I find that most dishes can be cleaned effectively using the 10:00 cycle with the icon of a bowl and a wine glass.
Another thing I find helps a lot is, if you're using pods, break off a piece of the Pod and leave it in the dishwasher to help with the pre-wash cycle, if you're using powder (which I recommend), don't fill the container all the way as it's not needed and leave a little bit in the main area as well for the pre-wash cycle.
Don't put a bunch of food chunks in your dishwasher because it can mess up the motor. That's why you need to rinse them off before you put them in
I mean.. 2.5 years later and still fine.. the trap catches a lot.. hmm, you might be right 🤷♀️
it's not recommended to rinse the dishes at all, just scrape them and that's it, the machine will do the rest.
Exactly, no need to rinse the dishes, that just wastes water.
But where goes the dirty water ?
Into the sink. That's why there are two pipes
@Nathanael Newton I got it, but when I was starting timer was showing, after water drain to sink its not showing, inside is foam, how can I clean it ? It looks like washing ended
You were that guy in jail
Lol what
You didn’t tell anything about the settings or the indicators on it. How do you know when it’s done?
I usually put it on max sitting, it barely uses any more energy/water then the other settings, I never scrape out the food, I let the dishwasher do with it, it beeps when it's done
This works for the faucet shown in video but if you have pull-down modern faucet then this aerator won’t work.
I found the solution after trying several connectors/ adapters.
You would need 1. 6922
GARDENA Accessory Adapter and 2. Sioux Chief
tomahawk ///

937-733020101
Garden Hose
'Adapter | Adaptador | Adaptateur.
The faucet originally had an aerator which I unscrewed, the Quick Change adapter in the video was supplied with the dishwasher and worked fine for me, thanks for letting people know which model to look for!
