I appreciate the included tutorial. I kept pushing the button to start the cycle and not giving it an extra 2 seconds to start, just thinking the flashing red light meant there was a problem 😆
I have the under the counter built in version of this model. It holds a lot more dishes than you would think. Dishes always come out clean.

I have the countertop model and it's just fantastic. The model you have was literally twice as expensive and I don't need one that big so I got the smaller one. I'm sure that yours cleans just as well as mine, meaning perfectly!

I can't understand why the leading manufacturers of these these portable dishwashers have not made an island version with multifunctions such as 2inch thick woodblock chopping block board on top!
Believe it or not, back in the 80s, early GE models had just that. A thick wooden top surface.

I did get mine at Walmart at a cheaper price, plus free shipping! But I will tell you, the one that I bought is the updated version. They don't sell this particular model anymore. The newer one is better. Let me give you a very important tip if you do order one. Open the box right away to make sure that there are no dents or damages or anything broken. When mine arrived, the damn FedEx driver was treating my dishwasher like it was a wheel! He was flipping the box upside down, like three or four times and then he put it on the dolly! I'm standing on my front porch watching this guy totally destroy my dishwasher right in front of my face! I live on the first floor and he just shoved it in my front door! When I opened up the box I was horrified! The dishwasher was dented up so bad, and the Caster wheels were totally busted off in the back! The hose was busted! It was just a total mess! What I did right away is called Walmart customer service online and told them what happened with the driver and how everything was busted to no end! That the machine was no good that I couldn't even use it! I had to repack the dishwasher and put on a return shipping label that they sent me in an email to print out. I had to schedule a pickup with FedEx to come get it the next day. so try not to damage the box so much just in case this happens to you. I also called FedEx and ask to speak to their supervisor are reported that driver!
But anyways, I ended up getting the dishwasher for free! when I called Walmart customer service and told them how the driver was tipping the box over and just throwing it all over the place they credited my account in the full amount of the dishwasher! cuz when I bought it I use my Walmart credit card. it was really stressful at first but it all turned out pretty good in the long run. I got me a free dishwasher! Woohoo!😄

One more update to protect your hoses. I have been wracking my brain how to empty them. Now i wheel it to the door. Lower the hose out the door, let it dangle beside the porch. In less than a minute the hose is empty.

Is the adapter in more than one piece? We just bought this second hand and the adapter doesn't fit to our sink... Which is weird because the dishwasher belonged to the previous tenant here! He used it here! We're wondering if we're missing a piece and it's hiding somewhere, or if we're doing something wrong. Also, thanks for a great video!

Do you happen to know what brand (and maybe model number) faucet you have for your portable dishwasher hookup? Have you ever had any problems with leaks from it when the dishwasher is attached?

Since most faucets don't have anything to block the water flow at the spout, I wonder how many times someone buys a portable and hooks it up, only to discover that their spout leaks at the base once pressurized, where it swivels at counter top level.
Owning it for about 18 months... It never leaked

Do you have to leave the water running the entire time? And how do you get rid of the water used?
The water remains on the whole time but is regulated by the machine itself. It did you notice the hose was a double hose? 1 is for incoming water, the other, for waste water

Your Jet Dri light is on. You need to put Jet Dri in the machine so that it dries the dishes correctly
the piece that you have on your faucet does it only fit certain kitchen sink faucets? and do you keep it on all the time?

How long is each cycle? I just bought this second hand and would like to know how long the normal one is for example.
It's about an hour to 90 min
Mine on pots and sanitize is 187 minutes. Leave your door cracked over night to keep the seals from getting brittle. I love this dishwasher.

How come my water didn't drain and I tried to use a PowerBar and it didn't even open
I just got a portable dishwasher but unfortunately my faucet is one of those spray faucet. I took the spray out which leaves me the line (smaller hose) and I try to connect it to the dishwasher but the water pressure starts spraying due to the pressure. Is there a way to connect the line to the portable dishwasher? I would hate to replace my entire sink because of a faucet issue.

Should the water be running the whole time? Or can I turn off the sink once the water is full?
Leave the faucet on.... the machine controls the flow of water and doesn’t waste it

I need help with my diahwasher. I bought a house with one of these in it. No matter what cycle i set it to it only takes about 4-5min b4 the heat cycle starts and the machine beeps. I put salt in it i just dont know what im doing wrong?

I emptied the water in the salt resevar. Poured salt in. And do not use the sink b4 running the dish washer

Your light is on for jet dry. I have the same dishwasher. You need to fill up your jet dry.
Do the right thing and DON'T buy a Danby. Breaks down after 3.5 years. What garbage.
Most things last that long all things junk now a days
