- Kane's VR4 is a great mix of modern technology enhancing an older platform. A true wolf in sheep's clothing.

Finally, someone who understands what a sleeper is!
Yup... its written on the side..
@@karmaforall2544 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
100%
His face when the sunroof popped off.. hahahah
I've watched it about 10 times 😂😂
@@toneloc9084 hahaha it’s so good
😂 soo good 😂 took a minute for him to process
@@the0neda0nlymenace99yar he’s like someone’s put their window down mmm no passengers looks up wtf then checks again fuk it’s definitely not there 😂😂😂
Bloody pissa 😂😂😂
The motec mimicking the stock cluster is so sick, at the first in car clip I didn't even notice it wasn't the stock cluster, love the redone door stickers too - to say it's immaculate is an understatement
100% the only thing that piqued my curiosity was how nicely illuminated it was. it looks fantastic - one of the best sleeper builds I’ve seen.
@@BlahBleeBlahBlah Yeah that's what caught my eye too, initially I thought it was just a super clean cluster, after I saw the drag runs where the layout was changed I straight up went back to check that it wasn't an old clip lol
The dash cluster seems to get a bit blurry on boost. Something for Motec to have a look at there.
@@yowie0889😂
MoTeC make the best stuff
That analogue display on the digital dash is a nice touch!
Kane, you have come with one of THE nicest sleepers seen here.
Everything about this build is simply admirable.
There are so many details which set the bar very, very high for anyone going down the "sleeper route" that it beggars belief.
Thanks to you and the Fullboost crew for sharing it.
Finally, the story behind @11:55 is gold! 🤣
Thanks mate. I love when people walk past it and take no notice
The look on Kane's face when the sunroof went into orbit 😂 one of your best video lads. Loved it.
His face was priceless when he realised it was gone 😂
Stuff like this makes me super happy. This dude. Huge respect. These cars from this era, maintaining their spirit but getting a few meticulous and hard earned refinements of modern tech - wonderful stuff.
I’ve always wanted a USDM Galant VR4.
Sunroof was the funniest things I’ve seen. Made my morning
I love people like this dude. He made art
Definitely one of the best sleepers I've ever seen
What a sleeper! Love the lane change assist.
😂 " love the lane change assist" has me in tears
Haha yep, needs a bit of work on the rear suspension setup.
@@ArmySigs what do you suggest?
This is honestly refreshing to see., proper sleeper. One of the coolest cars Ive ever seen.
AMAZING car, perfect for the street ! love all the small details, MOTEC dash as per original, Puma bag hiding the bottle, factory buttons to control, stickers etc, NICE !
This review is solid gold, the cleanest rig,all the Mana, built to work,no flexing just tuff.
Love the build one of the cleanest vr4 around
I love the nitrous in the puma bag 😂
Loving the Nikes! I used to see this car all the time around seven hills
One of the best overall builds I've ever seen. 10/10 Sir
This build is purely amazing! Street car definition at it's best!
724 HP awd + aws. Killer sleeper.
This car is my absolute dream, it's the perfect sleeper for the NZ/AU scene, super nostalgic.
What a great build. I have great respect for cars like JUN11 and KING32 but let's be honest they are street registered race cars. This is a true street car for me. Actually usable in the real world. It could be daily driven without getting pulled over by the cops all the time if he wanted. I bet this guy has a lot more fun than Rob and Anthony do with theirs as well simply because he can enjoy it way more often.
That analogue display on the digital dash is a nice touch!. One of the best overall builds I've ever seen. 10/10 Sir.
The dude is a Gangsta
That's a killer sleeper that face was funny asf lmao😅😅😅
Baz is definitely a legend, helped me with parts for both my VR4's..
Love the cluster, so clean.. Well, whole car is but that cluster is stound out
ABSO-FUKN-LUTELY incredible build. Prefect streeter..
Gotta be one of the best sleepers I’ve come across
The road least travelled, perfect sleeper fueled by hater's tears
Couldn't have put any better myself well said so true
removed the factory 4WS and replaced it with involuntary 4WS.
Such a pleasure to see this amazing sleeper, what a comprehensive build!!! FullBoost dishing out the mad content 👍🏼
Sleeper hell yeah. Traffic light nightmare!!!
That's ridiculously cool. Best 'ten beer purchase' ever!
This is my dream car before in 90's what a amazing car you have simple but sweet. Ralliart Legend
DSM and VR-4 guys chasing power in the states have been going almost exclusively auto for going on 10 years now. Kiggly (amongst others) have really shown it to be superior unless you're spending some very serious money on a dog box or a sequential. It's funny, I remember 20 years ago we were all throwing the auto transmissions straight into the garbage if you bought a DSM equipped with one.
With that said, this video was a great bit of insight into someone really pushing the legit street car ethos. Kane's dedication shines through in even the smallest details. The Motec dash designed to look identical to the OEM cluster, the updated side decals, the N2O controls using the factory option buttons. This man had a vision and I'd say he realized it in spectacular fashion.
Thank you 🙏
This is a “just because you can” 😂
I love it
1st VR4 Galant I was exposed to was at a rally race in Pennsylvania. Was marshalling a tight turn onto a flat wooden bridge (6 inches of water) Car went over the edge onto its roof. Spectators rolled it back onto its wheels under the bridge. Driver had a few cuts, navigator was fine...
Don't know why but I still love this Galant bodystyle
What a beautiful, clean and immaculate sleeper. Well done.
My favourite kinda build ❤
What a weapon! Great to see something different. Fullboost bringing the goods again!
What an amazing build, absolutely love it!!
You know the owner thought about it when even the callout stickers on the side are customized :)
I love this. It's the cleanest E39A I've ever seen.❤
Great car mate. Nothing gets me quite like these 80s/90s sleeper builds. Cheers from USA
I grew to love this car growing up in the 90s, seeing this build as a sleeper makes me admire the VR4 even more. Love the build 💯💪🏾
Love the VR4! I remember when these first started to hit the streets. Followed by the GSR and then the R32 skylines started to float into the country
I did melbourne to Sydney in 7.5hrs in one of those in 94.That car has a great overdrive great for highway top end
9.6 at cootha is insane.
You guys find the coolest builds. Thanks for the video.
What a car, love the "hidden in plain sight" approach.
Amazing upgrade to an old classic daily drive. 👍👍
Another Great Video FullBoost!
My favourite cars..!!
Long live the E39A..!!
one of the best builds ive seen on youtube, love this kind of stuff
That hell sketchy drag launch was sick!
Wow this is such a great build! My favorite part is the digital dash, it's integrated so so so beatifully! I own a '89 galant glsi which I got from my grandad who owned it since '93. It's an awesome car to drive but it obviously isn't nearly as nice as this one. This build is something I'm dreaming of and I hope to have something like it in my garage in the future. Love this build man!!!
My first car was an 89 ls. I was so convinced I would swap a cyclone motor in it but purchased a 240sx. Had a soft spot for dsm's since then. I actually have a lancer ralliart sportback now and want to make that a quick street car.
Absolute credit to the owner
90s Japanese is timeless man. I love the aesthetics of that era. Even the bland cars like the Camrys are awesome machines. I drive a 96, its not a hot rod by any means but the sheer simplicity and robust drivetrains are legendary.
blurring the instrument panel when he guns it was a nice touch.
You guys really blew the lid off this one!
That confused look.. damn bro did the roof blew?! :D
Absolutely brilliant build
Love the duffel nitrous bag look.
Sickest oem-looking sleeper! That Puma sack at the boot killed me 😅
So clean, perfect build
The double take when the sun roof blew off 😂 👌🏼
When it happened I initially thought it was an intercooler pipe😝
@@kaneticpt 🤔 it got windy in here really quickly😂 awesome car mate 👌🏼
This has become my favourite car in an instant.
This is the coolest build and video.
But the look on his face when the sunroof went "Top Gun" on him.... priceless
Really liked this, great build.
Wow! My first experience in an AWD on dirt was in a VR4. 😎
That cluster is beautiful!! 😍👏
Beautiful build! Definition of a sleeper👌
Having been a member of the 4g community for about 20 years I definitely agree with your comments, and that’s coming from a 93t owner!
Love this vid Kane! Legend build from a legend bloke! Can't wait to get my Full Boost Tshirt with your confused head on it 🤣🤣
Honestly stunning car. I love this kind of stuff!
That's my favourite feature car.!! What a weapon.!!!
That is a perfect sleeper build, well done!
Awesome sleeper... Beautiful little car.
Understated, is an understatement. A race car only has to do one thing, go fast. A street car has to do many things, appearing humble can be one. This has so much style that it magically disappears, then it literally disappears. This belongs in the parking lot outside of the sleeper hall of fame. -car fans casually walking past it.
Thanks. A few comments on here about how terrible it is because its an auto. People like you can understand the point of the car. The auto adds to the “wolf in sheep’s clothing” build. The auto can handle a whole lot more power than the manual but the main reason I did the conversion was the ability to drive it at 20% throttle.
Thanks for articulating better than me🙏😄
The Real Super Sleeper.......👍👍👍
That cluster is god mode!
Well done car is awesome.
Being a GTR fan, I ALWAYS had a super spot for these! Absolutely LOVE these cars! Big thumbs up for the build!
I rode in this car in the mid nineties. It was a beast on the open road even, in stock. The height of jdm 😢
Very Surprising episode! Definitely a credit to all involved, quick street car that drives normal as a daily.
The one true, and best vr4.
Always loved these
Beautiful love the stock look... 😎😎✌✌👌👌
Lovely and perfect sleeper!
amazing. so well done. 10/10
I used to love these back in the day, the factory boost display was cool!.
Love this build 👌 attention to detail
This is such a clean build I love all the attention to detail
Sweet, that dash is as well awsome👍🏾
Sweet build, the face after the sunroof 😂👌 gold brother
Man If I could afford one and had more means to maintain it, I would without a doubt own one
The Galant VR-4 was the first jdm car i fell in love with. I used to watch Nathan Pharr run his @ Englishtown i think he was part of Extreme Motorsports in Maryland. At the time he was running 12's and was the fastest vr4 in the country.
That digital dash is amazing
This generation of Galant will always hold a special place in my heart because my parents had the non-VR4 version and we went on several road trips to almost every state in that car
