    In what way is that a good value compared to other kettles on the market? Comparing to what?

    Does the hold function stay active between your pouring (I do a 5 pour recipe) to keep the temp from dropping? Or does it turn off once you take it off the base?

    Longevity of aesthetics after a year due to powder coating? I am testing this with the oxo gooseneck and would love to merge the two as they each have good features.

      They powder coating can chip, but so far we are finding these very durable 👍🏻

    Would rather have something that has internal heating and is cool touch. The heating plate can only test temperature of the kettle surface not the water, which if you've used the Hario gooseneck and put thermometer through lid hole you know kettle and water are different temperature.

      Yes true, you can always put your own thermometer inside the measure then work out the offset in temp and adjust accordingly. 👍🏻

      @@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters yes which is what I do with my Hario kettle so buying a kettle with an electric temperature controlled hot plate kinda basically is a waste if I already have a stove top and a kettle.

    Can you tell me what the minimum fill amount is? This seems to be a closely guarded secret!

      @ArtistiCoffeeRoasters  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Not sure, but 100 ml would be fine, I do enough for 1 drip bag coffee all the time

    Dose the white one stain easy?

      Does a white car get dirty!! Never! 🤣 it’s pretty good as it does not get close to the coffee grinds in an espresso bar. It cleans up pretty good

      I have the non electric one - yes, the bottom has gotten pretty bad. Have to really be diligent in cleaning top of your stove
