  • The Fellow EKG and Brewista Artisan Kettle are the two best looking electric kettles on the market. Both are similarly priced and are the best looking kettles out there. Looks can only get you so far though, which one should you get?

Great review! If you have limited budget, the Fellow will only give you a very slow range of pouring and no ability to increase the speed. The Brewista allows you to pour at any speed-so you will be able to use it for anything. But you have to learn good pour-over technique with the Brewista. That is one of the fun and satisfying parts of my daily pour-over work-flow. If you have already developed good pour-over technique, then the Fellow might take away an enjoyable and satisfying part of your coffee making work-flow.

Thanks for your thoughts! I was curious about the Brewista, but I've been enjoying my Stagg for over a year now. My only real gripe with the Stagg is I wish they had given it a little more volume for when I'm making a french press or a larger brew on my Chemex. But it's usually not an issue!

Yeah, when I make a Chemex it is very close to not being enough. Totally understand.

I thank you for the comparison. If only someone could design a kettle that combines all positives from both kettles... It's January of 2022 already, so chances are someone has done that already?

I just recently bought this kettle with your recommendation and I noticed the lcd screen had some scuff marks. The lcd screen is plastic I'm assuming or is there another screen protector under the one that came the preset one intended to be pulled off? At ty is price point it should have been glass or some kind of gorilla glass like in smartphones

Great vid! Have been sourcing around for an electric kettle, currently brewing with a hario stovetop (boavita i think), but i'm lacking some control over temperature. Have You seen a new brand named ovalware?

Interesting, thanks Brian. Fellow and Brewista are possibly the most well known out of a bunch of kettle manufacturers. Unfortunately both products are way above of what I would want to pay for an electric kettle.

The brewista cheap wood effect looks so dated. Like a 10 year old cheap diffuser I have off Amazon. Really let’s it down
