The only thing I would do to a turbo with view to future price development is either adding the small RUF package at 10K Euros or the large one at 30K, which both give about the same power. I don't think all these mods he did will be viewed favourably in the future. Also, it is a great car as it is... the only option missing is the soft top ;)

Hey how did you deactive the front spoiler because on the 991 turbos it has an active front spoiler in the bumper. We converted our 991 turbos bumper to a gt3 as well but now getting error message since we dont have the active front spoiler
I love that they're going to do a Turbo with the GT3 RS body. I've always wondered if you could order one from Porsche Exclusive like that. I'd love a Turbo S with the GT3 RS fenders and the front and rear bumpers. I'd keep the Turbo rear spoiler but have a custom more aggressive wing. Still want the automatic spoiler and not the big wing on the RS. All the performance and luxury of the Turbo S with aggressive looks of the GT3 RS.

It has been done by a german tuner, a full RS exterior swap, looks exactly like a gt3 RS.

Is the GT3 bumper conversion just bolt on and go? I imagine the wiring for the lights and the cooling passages are universal for the 911 range
I think for the most part yes. There are some things like the adaptive cruise sensor that had to be rearranged.

Are the anchor points on the GT3 bumper the same as the Turbo S bumper? Or do you have to make modifications to attach the GT3 bumper? What about attaching the GT3 RS bumpers to the Turbo S? Are the anchor points the same or are modifications needed?

It'd be perfect for me if it had the full gt3 rs front end including the fenders. Could recreate the 911 R if you start with a carrera. I don't like wings. So cool that these guys do this.

I agree, but the car was built to be sold, so they stay conservative on the build. The E92 M3 I reviewed had Ohlins and I was blown away by the ride quality - absolutely amazing!! Thanks for the comment!!

I agree, the performance of these things are pretty insane, regardless of pricetag. I would love to own a 997 Cab, nice choice! What color is it, manual? What mods do you have done now? My buddy Mason at Pacific German VW/Audi/Porsche shop, has a 997 Carrera S. He put a VF Engineering Supercharger on it, and took it off a few months later. It couldn't put the power down, it was just silly he said. I was planning on reviewing it, but then he took the charger kit off, so now I'm not sure. Thanks for the comment Justin!!
I can't remember which magazine but soembody tested the 991.2 turbo s and got 2.37 to 62mph

I bought it used for only 25k, which I thought was pretty insane but apparently depreciation really hits these cars hard (10k per year with a clean title). Regardless, I feel like I got a good deal even if it's 8 years old; but only about 30k miles on it.
This car is pretty much all stock and it was a recent purchase so I haven't done anything to it personally. Still contemplating on what I'd like to do, since it's a soft top and I'm not typically a fan of soft tops.
I have a 2011 Audi TT base model as well that I modded with some subtle exterior, put in a better stage 2 turbo charger from the stock as well as a chip. I went from 220 bhp to to about 380, and from 258 lb torque to 360. The exhaust is the same, because the TT just should not be a loud car. The sound comes from the Turbo and that's about it. idk how I'd feel with this style of a car with an insanely loud exhaust coming out the back anyways.
That said, I might do something similar to the Porsche. However, the body kits are grossly overpriced in my opinion.

LicMaiNutts nice car for sure. But nothing beats the Turbo for everyday use and practicality. And nothing outside of a Chiron can out accelerate it. It's bullet proof master engineering.

Nope! You got it this thing is so capable of daily duty. Super comfy and easy to drive on the street. Especially in comparison to the Ferrari F430 that I just drove and filmed earlier this week. Stay tuned!!!

Yeah, this car had the multi-function wheel on it so the paddles are actually buttons. The sport wheel is what most people prefer, and has the normal paddles on the back, and no buttons at all!

Funny that I just saw this video and happen to have a GT3 front bumper on order for my 997. The GT3 front transforms this to look so much better, but the 21" wheels look too pretty boy. No thanks.
Love 997's, you're totally right about the GT3 bumper! They were going for the ultimate street build on this one with the 21's, but I also like a meatier tier setup. They don't look as skinny in person though. Thanks for the comment!!

IMAPS There are two colors Porsches should be. White and Silver. Mine is white. White and silver let you see the artists intended lines. Never understand black cars. They completely camouflage the artists design.

why would you put a fixed wing on this car and ruin it's active aerodynamics? was it your intention to ruin the car that Porsche spent decades perfecting?
Porsche GT3 and GT3 RS have fixed wings, there are pros and cons. This car wasn't build with all out performance in mind. Tech Art make the wing, and I doubt it affects much under 120mph, and this car will probably never see the track. Thanks for the comment!

It's his car and his money & I doubt he cares about your opinion. The Porsches active aero doesnt give as much downforce as the turbo s so it's technically an upgrade. And about the rear tires it wouldn't rub at 325 because that's the same size tire as a stock gt3 rs @wheelie

These are fully forged and pretty light, but I agree - 20's would are even a little big. I just went from 20's to 18's on my daily driver VW CC.
The gt3 and TurboS are already using 20" and rs rear 21"

Yah bro, I agree, I love it! The rear spoiler isn't too big, I think its just right. You can paint it two tone and accentuate some of the lines a bit more as well.
