Solo una anécdota para los curiosos. Luego de este partido Bilardo sacó las tres tiras de los shorts para que se parezcan a las del mundial 86 para tener suerte, pueden ver en los siguientes partidos que los shorts ya no las tienen.

This Argentina team should have actually been out of the World Cup in the very next game against the Soviet Union. But the referee allowed Maradona to punch the ball off the goal line at 0-0 even though he saw it.
Argentina were outplayed in almost every match, its a miracle they got to the final.

@@sirtakiyan2968 it was a very negative world cup overall and Argentina's tactics along with a massive amount of luck helped them plus the mental power they had with just having Maradona on the pitch. The only decent game they had was against Italy. Cameroon, Romania, Brazil, Yugoslavia and Germany played much better. They would have been the worst ever team to win the world cup if they succeeded.

28 octubre 2023 han pasado más de 30 años en ese mundial de Italia 90 yo quisiera preguntarle a fallecido Diego Maradona que le pasó en este partido no fue el Maradona de México 86 estuvo marcado los africanos por su talla lo pararon en seco el partido los africanos lo tenían dominados e incluso no jugaron casi la mayoría de chicos que campeonaron en México 86 en ese partido se les hizo extrañar solo estuvo Batista Pumpido burruchaga y Maradona por supuesto pero pobre Pumpido si en el arco hubiera estado otro arquero o el pato fillol estoy seguro que no le harían ese bloopers y el partido hubiera termina empatado que les parece mmm 😊

What I meant was FIFA were afraid of a lowly African nation were most of their players still played in Cameroon (with day jobs in a lot of cases) beating the reigning world champions. Maradonna is my fave player of all time and generally I think the greatest of all time. Messi and Ronaldo couldn’t do half the things he did with a ball. Imagine if Diego played in the modern day? No more terrible pitches and actual protection from referees.

It was Gary lineker that was fouled for both penalties, the fact that you got the player wrong , makes me doubt that it was a dive, if you can’t tell the difference between players you may not be able to tell the difference between a foul or a dive 😂
