  • These days, it is not uncommon for people to often joke about Honda’s, whether it be the Ricer culture, or the whole “VTEC kicked in” meme. However, the engineering behind how VTEC works is no joke. It is actually pretty clever and in this video, we’ll be diving into how VTEC actually works, and how it compares to other competitors like Toyota’s VVT-i system. This video was an update on the original video I made from almost 4 years ago that had a couple mistakes. Hope you enjoyed!

      depends on the model, some has VVT and VVL, some has the technology only on the exhaust valves, etc.
