I'm 38 years old with 4 kids. I have a disabled daughter that I take care of 24 hours a day.I consider myself a strong woman and I consider you one too.👌 Just wanted you to know you're a great mother and your children are blessed to have you. May God continue to bless you with strength love and wisdom.
Wait goat or beef? 🤔 lol
Claudia Regalado I was the same way when I replaced my ninja blender with a vitamix. I couldn’t believe the difference with my salsas & smoothies. Btw can’t wait to try this recipe. ✌🏼🤍
Claudia Regalado Is your blender hard to use? Why did you decide on a A3500?
Can you please give us the brand and model of your blender?
I watched this at 4am and now I can’t stop thinking about birria
Literally I’m like torturing myself watching this 😭
🤣🤣🤣

I was foaming at the mouth at 2am...smh

Thank you. I've never had birria and I made it for my husband 3 months ago.I followed your recipe exactly and he looved it. He said it reminded him of Mexico. He just passed away, and I was just looking at the video I recorded of him enjoying his tacos de birria. I wish I could cook this for him again ❤ sometimes the small things mean the most, and those are the ones you remember the most. Thank you for one of the many memories I get to remember my love by 🤍
🥺🥺🥺
So sorry for your loss 🥺

so sorry for your loss...
Prayers going up for you and your family 🙏🏾🕊
I'm a 55 yr old white guy and I love to cook. My son and I discovered Quesa Birria a few months ago. I had to find a recipe to make it at home. Your recipe is so good my son won't eat it from anywhere else but home now. Thank you for the fantastic recipe and I will be trying several of your others.
I am ready to make this. XXtra spicy recipe. And not spicy recipe for the fam.
Amazing recipe ❤
Truly perfection from San Diego California!
I just made 10lbs of this for my family. Let’s just say they think I’m a celebrity chef now 💀
Sameee lmao
Did you double the ingredients?
@@hannahchavez1766 of course
🤣🤣🤣🤣facts bro! Try it with other meats too🔥
Wish I was one of your family members. I know they were all very happy and content with your choice of menu on that day. It's a lot of work to make biria especially the amount you made, but it's so worth it.
For a young women cooking up some Amazing Food, it baffles me why anybody would give you thumbs down. Putting yourself out there takes some skill girl. You inspire me to cook. I’m Native American & married to Mexican American, so I Pretty much taught myself to cook & watching you helped with new recipes. Thank You. 🥰
Wyndalyn Cloud I appreciate you very much 😘
Because They're jealous
Yes that's what I told my mom , I was like she's so young and knows soooo much 😭 I told my mom I need to step it up cause I don't know much lol ♥️
It comes from the heart!
Wyndalyn Cloud I felt the same way, wth!!! I wish there wasn’t a thumbs down period! Amazing beautiful young cook. ❤️🙌🏼
Y’all talking about her flipping the tortillas. SHE SEPARATED THE MEAT WITH HER FINGERS THATS EVEN HOTTER THAN FLIPPING TORTILLAS. Lil mama a keeper.
Damn this came off as hella sexist. She’s not a “lil mama” bro. Show more respect

For real. I don't need a life story. I'm here for the food.

Claudia Regalado thank youu💞💞
I love how consistent you are!! And the fact that you have so many recipes. Its never dull. Chef to chef i truly appreciate you.
Claudia I’ve watched this an embarrassing amount of times lol, but I finally felt confident to do it, and it tastes so good. You’re right it’s fast, I did my meat in my pressure cooker so that was only 35 minutes for that which made it extremely fast, thank you for this recipe 🥰
I'm so glad!
Is it super spicy?
@@reynagonzalez6189not at all. Depends how many chile de árbol you put in it. But with the amount she out it’s not spicy at all. Just gives it good flavor.
She real crazy flipping them tortillas with her hands that’s how u know she’s good at cooking
How can you do tortillas any other way?
Not that easy flipping them in aceite.
Dark Luna there’s oil in that pan! Lmao I’ve NEVER seen someone flip a tortilla with their fingers while it’s sitting in oil. That’s some expert level shit.
Its not that hard... ive done it im a guy lol
Lol, I thought the same as soon as I saw that. I was like, she knows what she is doing! 😀

I have watched this ten times! I made this on Christmas Eve. My wife loved it. My son said," dad....those were bangin!" I will be making these again.
My mom is Asian but my dad is from Mexico. I didn’t grow up on my Mexican side so I barely know Spanish and how to cook anything Mexican besides arroz and frijoles 😂 thanks for teaching me more recipes girl! I want my kids to know both sides of their ethnicities!
Omg! My Dad is Filipino & my Mom is Mexican so I'm mexipino but we were raised pretty much Mexican that even my Dad speaks Spanish fluently but his Tagalog is elementary status. My Mom learned some few Filipino dishes so we get the best of both worlds
@@macbelle3rd108 aww y'all are the mixes of my future kids. I'm Filipino and my husband is mexican hehe. I'm learning to cook these recipes so i can impress mi suegra y suegro.

I have made this several time, my husband loves it!! he takes it to work for the guys and he brags about how "my wife makes the best birria!" thanks Claudia
I was questioning the ginger but when homegirl used her fingers to shred beef and flip tortillas I knew this was the recipe

I just want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for making these videos❤️ I was never taught to cook and a lot of it was because I really didn’t want to learn, now that I’m a wife and mom I’m embarrassed that I’m not a pro , but I have made a lot of the dishes you’ve posted and my husband loves them ! I was hesitant on trying to make birria just because I wasn’t sure I would get the texture of the meat correctly or the sauce but I gave in and made it for the first time today following your every step and I’m pretty sure I got it perfect ! So thank you again Claudia 🙌🏼
I always come back to this video because it’s hands down the best Birria I’ve ever made. It’s my families favorite. Thank you Claudia ❤️
I’m only 17 and made this I had to keep rewatching the video and going to the store to grab everything she had 10/10 recommend ❤️
I’ve been wanting to make this for years, I just don’t know where I can find all the ingredients
@@ebonycummings8162 cardenas or marianas, any hispanic store

My mom doesn’t know how to cook but my grandma does, growing up I wasn’t taught how to cook and I’ve learned so much by watching your videos ❤️ Muchas gracia You’re like my CZcams mom (:
These were one of the first meals my boyfriend and I made together when we freshly moved into our apartment. He brings it up sometimes for good memories. ❤ thank you for teaching me Claudia❤❤❤
Her mouth watering before trying her own food , is when you know its going to be good ! I will be making this for my family tonight! Thank you!

What brand is blender
Vitamex

I thought the same thing until I saw the price.
I don’t care how many times I watch this video I crack up every time at the “we don’t like lamb here” 😂 I love this recipe!
I actually prefer Lamb/Goat Birria. but I know for a lot of people, the smell, taste is too strong for them. 🙃
Me too !!! I was wondering if anyone else thought that was Hilarious 😂
Lamb is good...you just have to cook it right. Tastes like a slightly more exotic beef. Delicious.
@@brandonaldaymachuse6669 lamb barbacoa is delicious
We don’t like lamb In My house neither!!! That’s why I love this recipient in particular 👍🏻 she is the best!
I'm Puertorican, but love Mexican food. Just watched this....Amazing. Definitely going to make it. Tried birria tacos for the 1st time in my life about 3 months ago. I fell more in love with Mexican food! Thank you! God Bless!
I love how you broke everything down step by step! Phenomenal
Thank you for sharing this. As someone who has unfortunately been separated from their bio family (I am a first generation Mexican American), it has been hard trying to connect with my culture through food. This reminded me of my childhood. Thank you.
Similar situation to you. My parents separated when I was younger and thus I missed out a lot on classic benchmarks in a Mexican upbringing. Making these dishes reminds me of what my Abuelita made back then and gives me great pride. Keep cooking, Kati!
When mamita flipped the tortillas with her hands that's when I knew this recipe was legit. 😁
For reals! 😳
I saw this three years ago and had to try it. To this day, it’s still the best birria I ever had. Thank you for the recipe! 🙏🏾
I have made this tacos like 5 times and every time I have made them my family has loved them…they always ask me how I know how to do it and I tell them that it’s thanks to her… I love how she explains everything and how she actually tell you the ingredients as well as how much…even though some times I haven’t add everything and I had to make a few changes they are still good 👍🏼 I have made a few other foods that she has on her channel and all of them have come out so good…I love her channel because so far I have learn how to do different meals ♥️
Omg...i am totally making this now that we’re in quarantine lmao, i got the time
I love how you make everything so EASY ‼️ you’re so good at cooking but you don’t make it seem like only a professional can make what you’re making! Thanks for all the recipes ❣️
Girl! These are your best videos! Love love love your old cooking videos are so genuine and real life!
I appreciate you and these GREAT FAMILY HERITAGE RECIPES ! Thanks For Sharing
I’ve made this like 3 times already, everyone falls In love !! Thank you so much!! ❤️
Just tried it last night and it was delish. I recommend adding some of the broth to the oil , dip the tortilla in that and then put it to fry. Otherwise I found the tortilla would break too much. Now I’m on a mission to try more of your yummy recipes.
I microwave my tortillas first for a few seconds (till warm) then fry.
Look for traditional tortillas that have only four ingredients corn lime salt and shortening. these tortillas don't fall apart.
Thank you for amazing recipes!! I’ve made this recipe countless amounts of times, as a matter of fact I’m making it today to celebrate my Mom and my husband’s birthday. You have no idea how much EVERYONE loves this!! From my family to my in laws!! Everyone’s favorite!! Thank you!
Thank you for showing us how to make authentic tacos de birria! I can’t wait to attempt this recipe! I think the most daunting part is gathering all the ingredients. I’ve never bought the dried peppers before but you’ve explained everything so perfectly. Thank you!
I'm American and lived in Italy for 35 years while being married to an Italian, so I cook mostly Italian meals, but this one, blows me away. It is time consuming, but looks so worth it. I was drooling watching you. I believe this is going to be a long time hit for our family.
Tip I learned from a cooking show: if you love cilantro use the whole cilantro stalks & leaves (los palitos del cilantro). The stalks of the cilantro is where the flavor is concentrated!😊
Everlyn Acuna I just cut it like that it is good
Yes! The stems are the best part!
Cilantro in everything 🙂
I support this message
And it's also where the crunch comes from!
That vertical mise en place by the blender was absolutely 10/10.
This is the best recipe of birria that I have done so far. I think it will be my forever keeper. It never fails
This took me sooooo much longer than I expected. I’m a only a couple weeks into learning how to good something other than eggs. It took me 7 hours total (wild, I know) but the tacos were sooo good! My gf is a big fan too. They’re as good as the truck we like in Down Town Los Angeles. Im pretty proud of myself. Thank you!

Just one quick tip on ur meat, I noticed you're having to get out sum of that foamy stuff out while ur meat is cooking, MY TIP IS, that when u cut up ur meat, put it in a bowl with water to cover the meat, let it sit there over nite in the water, once you get ready to cook the meat, drain the water and give it a good rinse, by doing that, you won't have that brown foamy stuff while ur meat is cooking, just a little tip from me to you all, you can do that with pork meat as well, thank you all

Why? It only took 2 or 3 scoops to take it out. No need for it.😑
