@@katetroughear7915 They didn't even want to invite friends over. Imagine being so selfish that you deprive your children of fun, making memories with friends and happiness for your creepy little obsession after you saw a single pig one day and thought "hey that's cute".
At first I thought it was gonna be some mental trauma or something that kicked it off but no, she literally saw a pig one day and that was that. The husband is a champ too, I'd have dipped years ago. The house is a total mess with all the pig stuff. I couldn't live like that at all, its just clutter and junk everywhere. There's also nothing of his interests anywhere, no family photos, no wedding photos or anything. It's peak selfishness and honestly, she's a crappy person for doing this to her family.
It's a hazard for her grandkids too. What if they grab something and it breaks and cuts them? I can't believe how selfish she is and how badly she treats her husband. She treats a bunch of inanimate junk better than her husband, kids and grandkids.

When I was maybe 6 or 7 I went to my neighbors backyard by myself where he had a pig pin. My neighbor is a nice old man and before this he had told me I could feed the pig with crab apples from the tree he had by throwing them in the pin. For whatever reason I forgot or just didn’t listen to that advice and I put the apple in my hand with my palm flat. (Probably because I had been taught to feed horses that way) It ate the apple but in the process accidentally bit my thumb. It was a surprisingly clean cut that I’m pretty sure went to the bone. Anyways I went running to my house and started washing my hand In the sink. By the time I got to the sink my entire hand was covered in blood. I never went to the doctor and somehow it didn’t get infected but I definitely learned to never feed a pig with your hand.
I think I did that same thing one time when I was 5...

Her severe attachment and compulsion to fill her life with these things suggest it's far beyond a hobby. As well as the clear line she has drawn between her 'collection' and everyone else she loves. She'll easily push them aside to make room for more pigs.

My mom had a family pet pig growing up, my grandmother LOVED animals especially exotic animals but my grandfather was one of those people, he didn’t really hate animals, he liked some and he didn’t abuse or kill them but most he wasn’t like kissing on any pets or petting them, so that was a good relationship 🙂👍
