Lots of news on this one, and I didn't even get to everything! Lots of great stuff already lined up for tomorrow :)
Shoutouts to SRC267, Raouf Bouna, Retro Pocket Gaming, Video Game Esoterica, raniel6842, Capy and RoyalDemon for the news tips!
i'm waiting for the day that Mr. Sujano warns us to delete all our roms because the MIB are kicking down doors
MrSujano: What do you think of the emulator Lemuroid? Is it safe to use the cloud save that seemingly doesn't help?
@MrSujano Have you considered doing a monthly roundup of the biggest emulation news? Or maybe a "Most improved emulators this year" list or something like that. Maybe a "Emulators with the most impressive visual enhancements"..
I enjoy watching your daily videos, though a more refined/collated sort of video might appeal to a less technically minded audience Or an audience with less time/attention span.
My man said: i'm gonna butcher this name. Then proceeded to pronounce it as grammatically correct as possible. "All stuff and no fluff" is right. "Bat-N Kay-toes"
Why do people not resort to zipping those music sheets and putting them into people's emails?? I literally was hoping the person would send out one of her/his email addresses for people to ask her/him and such, but no, he/she says to download them whenever you can....Hopefully someone has a massive zip file of every single music sheet of his/her work and such.
Also, at the 02:40 mark, when is PCSX2 going to finally release the stable build? It's been 8+ years since they have released 1.6.0, would be nice to see a 2.0.0 version at some point in the future instead of these nightly builds, but I digress.
HA HAAA!!!! Zelda's Adventure on the Game Boy near the same day as the Legend of Zelda announcement the day before!! Niccee...
Yes, because sheet music clearly hurts you SOOOOOOOO much Nintendo. -_-
If anything, it's free advertising. People recognize it and think about the series the music is from.
@@Satiator123 To be honest, Nintendo doesn't need free advertising like this. I'm not for Nintendo and this is a bad move from Nintendo. But thinking that this free advertising from sheet music would do anything for Nintendo is foolish (I don't mean it in an offensive way, just don't have a different word for! English is not my native language, sorry!).
I have no idea why Nintendo did that, other than just being a-holes. It makes no sense to me to go after sheet music, we-t-eff Nintendo!
Yea Nintendo will shut down solely cause if these sheets.
2024 has absolutely been the craziest year and that includes Nintendo and emulation news. We are only halfway into the year 😭 what the hell comes next?
@@FARDEENKHANQWE123Nintendo giving us good first party games while trying f’s us over everything copyrighted to them
Man imagine being this low to take down sheet music
Me: wants to play Nintendo songs so buys Zelda book off Amazon
Me: no xenoblade, seriously? finds some online to play
Nintendo: hey stop that
It is a civic duty to keep pirating Nintendo to the end
It is always moral to pirate from Nintendo
at least for old games that they won't release anywhere else. Don't pirate games fresh off the press.
I will pirate anything I want. @@frogdude1337

yeah but learn to have discretion or every website will end up like vimm's lair
@@midorifox yeag I wish people would stop mentioning specific sites
I wonder how nintendo fanboys are gonna defend taking down damn SHEETMUSIC 😭
They will😑, don't worry, they will.
They'll defend anything Nintendo does while sucking them off. And they do it for FREE
This is why you should be loyal to NO brands, they don't care about you.
By purchasing the upcoming limited edition recolored switch to add to their collection.
@@SToad lol, also youtube took down my reply, of course
"B-but they're free!.. Y-you don't support daddy n-nintendo with it!.. How dare you?!"
Nintendo is abusing the DMCA system lol
EU law need to come front to punish Nintendo. 2 billion dollar fine.
Yup they sure are. Wouldn't surprise me if they are the ones behind the attack on the Internet Archive.
On Vimm’s Lair, Vimm suggested that they had hired a third-party firm specialising in the use of AI for copyright protection to attack sites hosting this content by wiping large amounts of it at once with mass DMCA claims.
I’ve heard that the sheet music may have been targeted due to profiting off it even though I can’t say for sure if that was their motive, but regardless, Nintendo (or their contractors, acting on their own initiative) are using AI to efficiently clear out large quantities of content from the internet at a pace they’ve never been capable of before. That should be a cause of concern for fans who want to see all this content shared and preserved.
Unfortunately, Nintendo is not a lone threat in this particular area as well; the music industry is full of big publishers who are obsessively stringent about copyright protection and would likely take the same action against transcriptions of their own music if they so much as knew (and unfortunately it seems music transcriptions can be a breach of copyright if done without authorisation). Of course, that doesn’t justify or excuse Nintendo’s own scorched-earth approach to derivative works involving its own IP which it seems to have been pursuing relentlessly this year.
@@jxwong_3982 all of this is absolutely true. but like @steffdia7080 mentioned, the EU can sue them like they did apple. Along with the USA getting more into suing companies for tactics like this (Referring to the recent adobe lawsuit.), Nintendo is MORE than liable for a class action lawsuit from BOTH countries. Its outrageous.
No they aren't lol.
And next up, Nintendo DMCAs fan art.
They already do this btw.
They tried to take down porn of Bowser once, if I recall.
Only justified moment,I mean is nrop@@acronym.4328

Hey man creator of Recharged Emerald here, thank you very much for the shoutout, I hope people love it.
Nintendo has become so petty they'd probably go after midi files...
I say they go after fanfiction and fan pictures
Nintendo is so petty they'd probably go after crayon drawings of Mario made by 4-year-old kids...
Nintendo is going too far
They missed an opportunity to title the new Zelda game, Princess Zelda and the Missing Link
The face of Mr. Sujano in the preview picture when there's some bad news. 😂 Keep it up Sujano.👍
I recently had to remove all the Nintendo music from my personal CZcams playlist, since it kept "mysteriously vanishing" leaving dozens of blank entries. It's really sad that I'm not allowed to enjoy hearing music from their games anymore...
And people wonder why I listen to mp3's lol
You are. Buy the music or play the game. Youre not free to upload and distribute their music lol.
@@aureateseigneur5317 Okay, sure. Some random bit of music just popped into my head. Instead of pulling it up in 5 seconds on CZcams, let me just...
Dig the game up, along with the respective Nintendo console. Hook it up. Find this bit of music in-game if there's no sound-test, and leave the console running while it plays. I'm sure you could see how people might find this inconvenient...
@@aureateseigneur5317 They do not release their OSTs in any way (maybe only in Japan), though. If one wants to enjoy the music from Nintendo's games in the most legal way possible, they'll have to dig through whatever online store to buy a copy of said game and/or find some place to buy it from, but in many instances the prices for those are scalped up way too highly because to some they're "rare".
Even arranges, damn, they REALLY despise their fanbase, huh. There's not a single day without negative news about nintendo these days, just shows how shitty of a corporation they are, though.
I wouldn’t even say it’s despising, just Nintendo being a relentlessly abusive copyright landlord in the same way some real-property landlords are. They’re clearly happy enough to take your money and your loyalty, but their approach to IP protection resembles that of an abusive landlord who doesn’t care for the well-being of tenants, controls and restricts their use of the property excessively, gouges them for rent and evicts them at a moment’s notice, and is happy to see housing prices soar amidst a rent crisis even if the property that’s increasing isn’t all their own. That’s Nintendo.
They’ve always been obsessed with control over their IPs, and if the speculation is true, the use of copyright claim-processing AI programmes might have just given them the strongest new tool in their arsenal to wipe large swathes of fan content off the internet more easily than ever before.
Sometimes I think Nintendo makes announcements exclusively to sweep their DMCAishness under the rug
Next on Nintendo's agenda: Suing people with memories of their games.
I got a good laugh from this one 🤣😂🤣😂... Don't give them ideas 😱
They need to hijack the chip in your brain....can't think about their games without a monthly subscription.
I'm getting sued for remembering super Mario 3
Dreams can come true
Holyy Fk I hope the Streisand Effect hits Nintendo Hard
Dammit, Stenzek is such a genius. I wish they could cobble together an emulator with:
* Mednafen's Sega Saturn core.
* .CHD support.
* The classic DuckStation/PCSX2 GUI.
* A Vulkan hardware renderer.
* Mednafen's GOAT shader + GOATRON mask pattern.
* Yaba Sanshiro's high definition RBG feature.
* Support for .FX and/or .SLANGP shaders.
* Support for Texture Packs.
The perfect Sega Saturn emulator.
anybody else hoping for PCSX2 and Dolphin to be supported on Nvidia Remix just imagine the kind of mods that will come out shouldn't be a big hurdle since both emulators used to support DX9
Next Nintendo is going to sue people who are playing Super Mario Bros on NES
Imagine going out of your way to actually purchase a copy of the game online or on a thrift store somewhere, and next thing you know, there's a lawyer standing in front of your doorstep waiting for you to take it from your hands.
It won't be emulated neither. They'll just sue you just for playing their physical copied games.
No, next they'll probably go after drawings on Deviantart that has nintendo characters in it.
That's nothing, you're probably getting suid by them for using the n word in the near future.
Yeah I know. I can play acouple games all the through in my head. Is that piracy??? 🤔
Sheet music? Despite Nintendo is in the right or not, this is totally out of place.
Eh. It's sheet music being sold online. I took a look at the website and you have to add it to a cart, meaning it's a website where purchase is necessary. You're buying Nintendo's music basically and they're getting nothing from it. For each purchase, it's $4.99 or 1 Pro Credit. Each additional print is $3.99 and to download it as a PDF file is $3 more. That's basically $12.00 for one sheet of music, that only covering the title theme from The Legend of Zelda.
Websites that host third party arrangements for free will be ignored completely because it doesn't violate any copyright law. The only reason Musicnotes is getting hit is because they're profiting off of music they do not own.
Thanks for everything you do to keep us updated on emulation
I finally made the Switch from Yuzu to Ryujinx. I even could take over my Breath of the Wild save file, it's great so far.
Don't know why are you so late, but good for you. At this point Ryujinx is far ahead of Yuzu in development. Of the 25 switch games I have, 24 runs perfect with Ryujinx. Only one game has problems, but that game had problems with Yuzu as well.
@@Ocelot04 I wasn't sure what will happen to Ryujinx too, after all what happened. So I waited to see which emulator to stick to, before making a commitment.
That pcsx2 release gets me really excited because crash bandicoot the wrath of cortex would only run on the stable build, when i tried on the nightly id get like tripple ghosting and awful black lines. Very excited.
Mark my word, in 3 years nintendo will start selling sheet music.
I am confused about the sheet music? Making your own sheet music from other music is not an infringement of copyrights?
They only own the copyrights of the music itself or on the original score.
But they can't claim copyrights on the work of somebody else.
In fact, the copyrights of that sheet music do totally belong to the person who made it.
They're profiting off of third party arrangements of music that wasn't created by them. Literally $5 bucks per sheet, plus $4 per reprint and $3 per PDF download. That's $12.00 for the Super Mario Bros. theme alone and Nintendo doesn't make a single cent off of it. That's their music.
@@AkerHasAwakenedOFFICIAL that is a completely legal way of making business.
For the same reason that I am allowed to design new tires for a certain car brand and model.
They put a lot of time and effort into making that sheet music. So they are most definitely allowed to ask for some money for that.
The fact that it's based on somebody else's music is totally irrelevant for the same reasons that I can make and sell 3rd party car tires
@@p_mouse8676 Literally untrue.
@@aureateseigneur5317 literally not a proper argument
@p_mouse8676 Wasn't an argument, it was a statement, so yea clearly not an argument, I'm glad you can tell the difference.
Nintendo can’t touch pirates, yet they go after everything else
Hello kitty (at the intro)
Sooner or later all those Nintendo Remixes, Lofi, Acoustic version of Nintendo music will get hit too. Theyll find some loophole and petty way to do so
Nintendo.... Looooooooooool!
The meme about Nintendo suing Italian people is becoming less and less than a joke.
Meifumado looks awesome. I immediately added it to my wishlist. I’m not surprised by Nintendo DMCAs and don’t want to support Nintendo anymore. Hopefully either Steam or Epic buys Nintendo and puts Nintendo games on their store front
No one will ever buy Nintendo, especially an American company. Nintendo is too good at what they do, last time their fmcoffers where examined it was determined they could operate at a loss for 10 years and be fine.
Much as it passes off Nintendo Pirates, they aren't going anywhere, ever. They are the only major game company right bow making massive profits with almost no losses anywhere. Nintendo is extremely good at their business. No ones buying them, ever lol.
Garfield the cat doesn't seem to like the camera. Lol
I think the colored font is better as it really helps differentiate your videos from others, appreciate you Mr.Sujano.
Quite ironic considering ALL of kondo's music is plagiarized from funk / jazz fusion from the 60's and 70's.
The look on the cats face says it all.
This is getting insane what next sue kids who dress up has Nintendo characters.
2:29 I was just trying to fix Tomb Raider Legend. Nice timing for an update 🙌
As much as it guts me each time something new happens, Nintendo being absolute scum to their fans will never surprise me.
its good to be on the spectrum i guess
@@polarvortex6601 What do you mean by that? lol
@@Fayt540 lolz the sentence is self explanatory.
imagine ppl giving their devotion to a corporation and said corporation shit on that devotion time and time again. what would you call that?

You co-host has that “je ne sais quoi“ vibe to be a CZcams superstar 😄
Thanks One Fluff, your appearance brighten my day. :D
Hey , Is upgrading to pcsx2 over aether fairly straight forward? I've been curious about it!!!! Thx. Links??
Can you explain the stuff happened with midori? I think it will catch eye
am i the only one that noticed the cute cat?
How dare you want to learn our music on piano!
This is awesome, Yakuza suffered a lot from that PCSX2 upscaling issue
Nintendo doesn’t own sheet music of a new arrangement to a song they own they own the origins sheet music not the recreation this is how the law works
Not remotely how that works or else Sergio Leone wouldn't have been successfully sued by Kirosawa for turning Zaroichi into a Western.
You can't just change a few things and claim ownership of it based on those few changes, thats not how that works.
Man, that's really RIDICULOUS actually, unless Nintendo plans to release comercially the music sheets.
Stupid company with medieval tendencies 🤦🏽♂
What they're doing is pretty legal. Music downloaded from Musicnotes is bought for $5 for the base sheet or for one pro credit plus $4 for reprints and $3 for a PDF download. That's $12 they make for the Super Mario Bros. theme alone and Nintendo doesn't make a single cent off of the music they themselves created due to this. Websites that have third party arrangements you don't pay for are perfectly safe on the other hand.
Supernatural looks amazing! Can't wait to play!
Nintendo I will continue to download all your games for free. You can't stop us.
>Doesn't see any Sly Cooper games in that list, and was hoping they'd fix the jittering of the text and logo... Because none of the built in interlacing options fix anything.
I mean they're not going to be able to fix everything at once. I'm sure a fix for those games will come along. I found a comment on PCSX2 wiki that suggested bob tff interlacing seems to yield the best results in the meantime.
@@richardsinclair7661 True, that option has worked the best. Just every 10 seconds or so, it breaks and unbreaks. I think the three sly games need multi-layered anti-interlacing patches (if such a thing exists), because it seems like they have more than one type.
@@Tall_Order I think I saw another comment on the wiki that said an anti-interlacing patch exists for the game, plus an anti-motion-blur patch. This is for Sly 1, I'm not sure about the others.
@@richardsinclair7661 That one doesn't work.
If Nintendo now goes after something simple as the sheet music, I hope they don't try to go next in DMCAs or shutdown the websites where you can download game's OST or gamerip songs files.
Because I would be totally angry on that.
What would you say is the best emulator for switch?
The queen is back. Instant like ❤
4:39 that was unexpected hahahah
Nice👍
I can't wait to see Nintendo DMCA speedrun videos
Man Nintendo is breaking fans what they love, everything including nintendo's content will get DMCA on the future i hate them already if this happend
They should have named it Legend of Link
🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the news on PCSX2! Big optimizations, indeed! I just tested Toy Story 3 and, woah, it looks terrific without the ghosty artifacts at high resolutions! Prince of Persia: Sands of Time as well! Very cool birthday gift for me :D
Nintendo is such an a-hole of a company. I doubt I'll buy a Switch 2. And if my kids ever say that they want a Switch 2, I'ma be like "Nah, I'll get y'all a Steam Deck, it's a faaar better value". Hundreds of great games ready to go, and no online subscription needed for online play. Taking down harmless sheet music, jeez, what the fek, Nintendo?
I feel like I'm on an island onto my self when I say that the new Zelda game left me feeling hollow inside. I'm not excited at all about it nor do the presented mechanics interest me.
We all want The Oracle games to get this facelift treatment. In the opening moments of the trailer, I held my breath thinking I was seeing one of these games! Upon realizing it was not Seasons or Ages...I sort of left the trailer feeling like Nintendo poked me in the eye.
An unpopular opinion for sure, but still a valid one. I can think of countless times I've seen games that seem to appeal to everyone except me or I see a game I thought I would like but doesn't interest me.
This entry looks promising but I would prefer to see an Oracle collection remade that includes the cancelled third version fully realized eventually. But yeah, not everything clicks for everyone the same way. That's perfectly normal.
@TheScruffySkull
It'll be fun and all, I'm sure.
The same way that Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts is a fun game...even though it's not what fans wanted for a Banjo game.
Ages and Seasons may be being reserved for Switch 2. Unless they shadow announce it as we get closer to the year's end.
Definitely Nintendo AI finding this stuff to take down

That Direct was pretty good yesterday. Nintendo should just call off their dogs and focus on what they do best.
Marvel vs. Capcom... I mean sure but let's be real... Where is the Capcom vs. SNK collection? You know, the best 2D Fighter ever created? 4 Fighting games in that series, and I'm pretty sure there are 4 different card-battling games too for people who like that kind of thing >.>

Yes it is, sheet music is copy written material. You guys don't understand any of what you are talking about.
Subliminal pressure to press like... the cat... cant resist...
I think Nintendo owns baten Kaitos 2 originally but I guess they just don’t really care and let namco do their thing
Nintendo cant sue ryujinx because of DMCA System only legit in america. Thats mean we all can pirates Nintenshit games with Ryujinx emulator forever. Right?
Well Ryujinx is in Brazil so they really can't get the devs from brazil and take down their emulator so, that's good for now considering I would rather have an emulator developed in Saudi Arabia than one in America or Canada.
The Hell with Nintendo pirate all their $h!t
I'm going to call it right now eventually Nintendo will run out of DMCA's to issue and who ever suggested to push on all these take downs is going to get canned. At the end of the day. Nintendo hasn't even touched 1 percent of the roms/music out there.
