Great video. I started using Loom, a screen share video recording app. I’ve been recording quickbooks, Drake, and payroll training videos, client specific monthly write up tutorials, and tax return prep training videos for my staff. It has been HUGE for project specific training.

1st, love the speeding up rules! Gotta enforce the rules!
2nd, so right now we just bookkeeping and tax. We also explain our standard QBO reports to our client's from time to time. I love all the fancy reporting tools but, how do I sell it? I feel like if I brought this as a feature it should just be for all the client's since it helps but I don't want to eat that cost... Do I just bump the prices for the newbies and have that built in? Do I offer just to those who want to pay let's say an additional $200 a month for it?
TLDR: Have you been through the process of adding upsales into your accounting firm and how did it go?
Yep attempt 1: I tried to sell them reports and they were like I don't care
Attempt 2: We took a cross-section and rolled it out for all of them. It was a simplified way of seeing results and people liked it.
In the end it meant eating the fees, but we did it across a more premium cross-section of clients. It wasn't quite full advisory, more like controllership around some KPIs.
It also makes for some good marketing collateral, when you can say "here's what our deliverable looks like" and it's just more polished than stale QBO reports.

Yeah I usually steer clear of mentioning groups specifically, because in my experience one person can have a killer experience with a group and the next person an awful experience with the same group, because it ultimately comes down to the humans you end up working with
