    It's beautiful!!! I bought one a few months ago and it's still working on its first leaf lol! 🍃 I can't wait to see what it looks like... maybe I'll move closer to the window.

      Thank you:) light does wonders to this plant and also gives big leaves as well.
      It is easy care plant atm for me after all the hard work it put me through.
      Now thrips have taken hold in my houseplants and I have just bought lacewings as I am tired of organic and synthetic sprays!

      @@urbantropicaluk ohhh no! Thrips are not fun! I had them on my Philodendron Selloum last winter!!! They didn't spread to any thing else... I used Bonide systemic granular product. Still putting it in the dirt every 8 weeks. Also sprayed it twice with Captain Jacks Dead bug brew. GONE!!! Best wishes. Hope the Lace wings work.

      @@SSaaNNddYY77 thanks Sandy, I have never heard of these options before. I will google them. I am actually seeing around 20 per lead but not wiping it off. I want to see if predators do the job they are suppose to do 😂

    짙은 녹색잎이 매력있는 필로덴드론 식물들은 실내의 트로피컬한 분위를 내기에 충분하죠. 🙂

    Thank you for sharing! I'm in the process of monitoring my Philo, as it has many little yellow brown spots when I bought it, now those spots are growing bigger...it's so frustrated and sad... I just really hope it make it through since where I live is extremely cold :|

      Hi, thank you for your comment. Once it starts yellowing, it takes time to recover and leaf is likely to get bigger yellowing patches. I start to look at my new growth and if that is healthy then I know it's on the right path😊

    Are the philodendron plants hardier than alocasia do you know?

      @urbantropicaluk  Před 2 lety +1

      Hello, I have had much easier experience with Philodendrons compared with Alocasia. I have given up on alocasia polly. Red secret and black velvet are static for 18 months (atleast not dead yet😂) and just bought Frydek. Thank you for your comment.

    This plant hates me 😔

      It can be tricky. It took me long time to get it right. I found that if you give it plenty of light and very free draining soil, it becomes easier to care for!
