    Thank you so much sir, I was bleeding my brakes for a month... Got thru 10 gallons of Brake fluid and was close to a nervous breakdown but your video showed me that I needed to take the brake calipers off to get all of the air bubbles out..... I can't thank you enough

    Man ur the man . U saved me a trip to the dealer n maybe $1000’s I changed the fuel pump n purge solinoid cause I miss diagnosed it .. turned out it was the fromt plug , but because I took the tank out I had to pull the master n lost all my brake fluid so I had to bleed everything like u did n I didn’t know about the vss pump till watched ur vid .. man ur a life saver..!! Now I got it all done but I can’t clear the check engine light n the brake failure warning .. I did exactly what u said but I can’t get the brake pedal to hit the secound switch .. the brake don’t travel that far down cause I got great pressure.. to tell u the truth it never went that far down .. I have 20000 miles on it n it’s a 2015 rss special addition.. green orange n white . But if u can help with the CE light n help me with the brake warning I’d greatly appreciate it .. once again ur the man I FUCKIN LOVE U MAN!!.🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻💯💯💯🤦‍♂️

    Francisco, thanks for this video. I talked to my dealer about spongy brakes and they said it is normal. Is that your opinion?
    Do you recommend a service manual for my CanAm Spyder RT 2015? I see below you offered to send someone a service manual.

    • @indiomechudo1
      @indiomechudo1  Před 2 lety

      Hello Richard Good evening, well spongy brakes means there is moisture in the system, the best thing to do is to replace the fluid with new one from a sealed bottle, i already sent the manual to someone abt a year ago. however you can find it on line. mine i had to pay for it and i printed it. it is worth it. another thing i recommend to have is a brake bleeding tool . MIGHTYVAC is a good one, i have a different brand cant remember the brand. it will make your life easier, and you will also be able to use it on you car and other vehicles, ohh here is the one i have look in here www.u-buy.com.tw/en/product/32AUAMU-8milelake-21pcs-handheld-vacuum-pump-set-tester-compatible-for-automotive-with-adapters-brake-bleede it is worth it. most people do not change the brake fluid often just top it when needed, with this tool its so easy i do a complete change every year... . best regards wish you luck . if you have any questions do not hesitate to call me.

      @indiomechudo1  Před 2 lety

      @@richardgurbin7059 Hello Richard. well replacing the entire brake fluid is something i do every 6 months myself, but doesnt have to be so often, i do it because once you do it yourself you will realize how easy it is specially if you have the tool i mentioned. (mightyvac) or similar. the brake fluid absorbs so much moisture and makes it spongy. it gives you great satisfaction doing it yourself and will save a lot of money , over there a professional shop is so expensive, here i do it for $30 haha, any ways try doing it yourself , and little by little you will realize how easy to do other things on your bike if you want we can video chat while you do it and ill be there to support you ,we re all bikers and should help each other best regards and blessings

    i got the same problem about breaking failure, is this video really fix the problem? and can i just fix the bleeding brake without using computer program? because i don't have the program, thank you

    • @indiomechudo1
      @indiomechudo1  Před 3 lety

      yes of course , the main thing is to bleed them right , put the front calipers in the right position so the nipple is on the very top so no air bubbles get trapped, and then also bleed the vss (vehicle stability system) that is the most difficult because where it is. and then clearing the code, i did took battery off for few minutes, then plugged back in, turned the ignition on(just pilots) and pressed the brake pedal all the way down until you hear the second "click" release and turn ignition key off for not less than a minute . and when you turn on problem will be gone. if i can help you more please do not hesitate to write will be my pleasure

    So how do you bleed the ABS power unit that's so hard to reach? I understand where the nipple is, but how do you get fluid to be expelled from it once you have it cracked-open to flush and bleed it?
    I'm also a little stumped on taking the rear parking brake mechanism loose, that coil spring in there immediately raised red flags when I slipped the thing off it's splines... I'm like, if I pull that spring loose and it uncoils, how will I ever get it coiled back right again? :-(

      sorry abt late reply i apologyze same as doing the calipers pump the brake pedal. make sure you have a clear hose . so you will not get it all over .. again my apologies

    • @indiomechudo1
      @indiomechudo1  Před 4 lety

      you do it just like the brake calipers. pump the brake pedal with the help of someone hold it down and open the nipple, close and repeat many times until there is no air bubbles . (remember to have a clear plastic hose) it is very uncomfortable to get your hands in there. however if you buy a brake tool called MIGHTY VAC will make your life a lot easier. sorry about late reply,,best regards

    • @indiomechudo1
      @indiomechudo1  Před 3 lety

      OK the parking brake mechanism doesnt need to be taken apart you can leave it be just make sure the brake is notr set. about the vss block i tried to put the bleeding hose but was impossible. i was able to reach with a lot of trouble and let it run out all over the bike and clean after , seems like it was the only way,

    • @indiomechudo1
      @indiomechudo1  Před 3 lety

      what i did for the calipers i used a mightyvac vacuum bleeder. make sure you take the front calipers off and put in a position where the nipple is on top so there will be no air trapped, the rear caliper does not need to be taken off, you can bleed on that position, and the vss block is a pain, you will not be able to put the vacuum pump's hose , so need someone to pump the brakes and let it run all over the bike and clean later, . when iwas doing this i had the battery unpluged because i was doing other things also. but try unhook the battery, then when done bleeding turn ignition on, (not engine) with ignition on, press the brake pedal until you hear the second switch "click" release, turn ignition off, wait 1 minute and then turn bike on and problem should be gone... wish you luck . if i can help you any other way please do no hesitate to call me . whatsapp 503 79225513
