Match Vlog- Atherton Collieries 1-0 Stafford! *Defeat for Stafford in relegation six pointer match!
A really disappointing defeat for Stafford Rangers away at 21st place Atherton Collieries yesterday the performance was simply not good enough and another missed opportunity for us. This was a game contested between two really poor teams on a bad pitch which reflects why we have both been in a relegation battle this season.
We have still got two games left at home to Ashton United and away at Morpeth Town so we can still survive but will need at least four points out of both and that still might not be enough. Just going to have to hope that Basford lose both of their final two games.
However that defeat at Atherton yesterday might have finally sealed our fate and if I am being honest about this it is deserved as this season for us has been nothing but atrocious.
Hopefully we can give our final two games a right good go and the lads heads do not drop now!
