あるとき西田集団ストーカーは「親が亡くなって実家を整理してたら脇差が出て来たのでもらってくれ」と言ってきた。いかにも集団ストーカーが善意を装い被害者に近づきトラブルに巻き込むための胡散臭い罠だろうと気づいたので断った。その後約3か月以上も執拗に「脇差をもらってくれ」と繰り返していたが、それでもこちらが「先祖伝来の大切なものだから自分でもってたほうがいいよ」と断り、一切もらう気はないのがわかると西田は自分の思い通りにこちらを騙せなかったことに腹を立てたのか憤慨した口調で「要らないよ、あんなもの！」と吐き捨てるように言った。日本の伝統文化の象徴である日本刀が心底憎い様子だったので、西田は日本人ではないなと感じたことがある。

這是我第一次真正看到傳統工藝把鑄鐵透過鍛造成鋼
数百年前の釘を使用するとは凄い着眼点ですね。確かに当時の製造方法を考えれば納得です。

日本の刀鍛冶職人は３００人といわれ、その中でも生計を立てられているのは30人ほどらしいです。
三種の神器、日本の歴史に深く関わる刀鍛冶職人を後世にまで残して欲しいと思いました。

Não vou escrever em inglês e sim em português. Técnica de transformação do aço em espada de forma única e maravilhosamente preservada. Essa espada foi dobrada cerca de 80 a cem vezes. Trabalho excepcional . Tem uma dureza extraordinária e o trabalho do forjador foi maravilhoso. Tenho a certeza que, enquanto estava calado, estava orando silenciosamente para que seu trabalho fosse empregado de forma justa e honesta pelo Samurai que iria emprega-la.
Parabéns ao forjador pelo excelente trabalho. Pena não possuir um valor para poder comprar uma espada dessa qualidade em meu país. Sei que nada paga o trabalho que foi gasto, o máximo que conseguiria seria sempre um valor abaixo do justo por que não há como avaliar o trabalho do mestre ferreiro. Novamente, parabéns e que de suas mãos continuem saindo espadas com almas tão boas.

Many swordsmith forgot tempering the sword after quenching, this man didn't.
Even senior Japanese swordsmiths often forgot the blade tempering, only do the Yaki-ire quenching process resulting in a less-durable edge.
Thank you very much for sharing this with the world. I just have one question, the length of the blade seemed bigger than I'm used to see, from the sword that was being crafted to the one that was polished and finished. ¿how long was this one aprox? thanks

この動画観てから、『鬼滅の刃』で日輪刀を折られたり石で砕かれたりした鋼鐵塚さんや鉄穴森さんに心底同情するようになりました…こんなとんでもない手間がかかって魂込めた物を雑に扱われたらそりゃブチギレるよね……。
何度も同じことを繰り返す工程を、なるべくカットせず(とはいえ実際は数ヶ月…！)動画にしてくれたおかげで、どれだけ大変な作業なのか伝わりました。素敵な動画をありがとうございます！

It's interesting to see how dynamically he manipulates the billet within the forge while giving pulses of air from the bellows,a technique I have not seen before.

very nice. no 2 x72 belt grinder here. You have to just appreciate the raw labor of love that goes into a real Japanese Blade. I never get tired of watching them made from raw ore. I would love to make a sword one day soon.
Even in Japan some smiths use power grinders for the rough grinding. And as I'm sure you saw, he uses an air hammer in the process. Don't need carpal tunnel syndrome.
Amazing forging Japanese swords are amazing (I want one lol) I think that the Japanese are the best at forging swords for centuries as they made them by hand and spent alot of time in making them which made them good quality and amazing for ages and still are
To think about they did this tiring process with hand tools back in the day.. Incredible
