Japanese take such pride in there work and the finish is to be completed to the best of there capability. Truly incredible
I don't care what people say, bamboo is the best wood and I love watching professionals ❤
Beautiful craft manship. Thank you for sharing your customs with us.
No tables, no maschines. All with hands, and on the floor. Perfect japanese working.
Beautiful! A machine will never be able to match that skill and artistry. Amazing craftsmanship. ❤🎉
The technique he used to give the bending shape was amazing. Excellent production quality as always. Happy New Year PX team!
Love Japanese craftsmanship and culture. Hello from Austin, Texas
It is truly art work that you have done. So beautiful and the history is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
This is like visual ASMR .
I love watching ancient artistry.
Absolutely lovely ❤ and the music is as wonderful to listen to as it is to watch these Masters create the Bows ! Thank you 🙏🙏🙏😸
We respect your work, culture and country.
Love from Bharat (India)
From the process of making the bows to the ceremony and tradition of using them, this is a beautiful art. Such skill is required at each step, including the slow smoking process. Thank you for sharing! Your videos are relaxing even when they have large machines working, but this video was like 13 minutes of peaceful meditation!
I had no idea that Japanese bows are made from bamboo! Such amazing craftsmanship
A lot of traditional Japanese items were made from Bamboo due to its abundance and sturdiness.
From weapons, to armor, buildings, plates, etc. Bamboo was used to make a lot of stuff like how Europe used wood
Watching these gentlemen make this bow , they make it look so easy and simple. But I'm sure they have 1000's of hours training and making them. What amazes me is the simple stuff the get from the outdoors, I'd say 99% if it came from the woods when they started making them hundreds of years ago. And just think of the people that figured out how to make them in the beginning, just like with the Japanese swords, those people were just smart. That's about all I can say about them. Very well done gentlemen, very well done. Semper Fi from an old Marine
Japanese are always respect worthy for their involvement on everything in perfection.
Thank you!
a real pleasure for the eyes the serenity of the music.. bravo
I absolutely love japanese craftmanship. Honor and pride to make the absolute best quality.
I hope that I will be able to visit Japan at least once in my lifetime.
I love to see how he made the beautiful knot. Real beautiful finishing. Japanese traditional art 🇯🇵 👍🏽👍🏽
This woodworking is absolutely brilliant - I love the special bench he has for planing the staves, and how he ties them together and creates pressure by driving in the wedges. It would be amazing to spend even a day learning from a bowyer like him. But maybe I can try some of these ideas for clamping in my own work
Such a beautiful video. To watch such a timeless art, from the creation of the instrument by such skilled hands to seeing how well it works is very impressive. Thank you very much for sharing!
The craftsmanship and artistry is staggering. A skill of true beauty. Thank you.
Excellent video. I also make traditional bows, especially horn composites. Your wrapping, wedges method is also very good for gluing horn bellies to the core.
Works of beauty and art made by master craftsmen and artisans. Wonderful to watch.
Truly amazing craftsmanship. I hope the younger generations keep the tradition alive.
Enjoyable video, but the last scene with the Samurai-style shooting was supreme. I would watch a whole video of just that.
I have always loved and respected the quiet discipline and dedication to craftsmanship of the Japanese. Their work and worldview are an inspiration to us all!
Such precision is incredible and beautiful to see!
As a kid I used to make bows from split bamboo as well, but they tended to crack over its length. Now I see where I made some fundamental mistakes, so thanks! It would be fantastic to know the approximate width of the core and edge strips. ❤
Mind blowing. This long bow need to be accelerated with full energy. Not easy to control. Be patient to learn about it and most of all disciplines in Japanese Culture.🇯🇵👍🏽🇯🇵
You need to make an ARROW video too.
Please show how they make the arrows.
Thanks!
Everything the Japanese do is beautiful
Even kamikaze? What about hentai?
Really interesting! I'm impress each time when i view these kind of craftmanship. You have my respect. 🙏
amazing !
The technique is beautiful
Beautiful work I love watching these being made wish I could afford one ❤
How much are they?
@@alanrogs3990most expensive on their website is $1650 Canadian. Not too bad really.
Right now I am training so I can move to Japan and get a job doing American dubs for Anime. Once I have Japanese citizenship (and a wife) I am definitely buying one of these.
You can buy it for about $1000.

What a perfect craftmanship every saw.❤❤❤❤
To watch a master craftsman work is absolutely amazing. Whether it’s wood carving or knife making, from any part of our world. A true craftsman is a person of great skill and dedication to the craft. USA 🇺🇸
Watching Japanese craftsmanship along with the beautiful music is unbelievably therapeutic.
Many of these videos leave me in a
"zen state of mind" !
Beautiful down to every last detail.
This is one of many things I want to learn when I get to Japan.
Very good quality, India purchased this Bows and Arrows recently for Temple inauguration , Thanks.
What an amazing process!
Wow, true craftsman and impressive bows. Def annoys me that i lost my ability to speak an understand Japanese after a head injury an there isn't really anything local that i can immerse myself in again (as i have to do it as learning it doesn't stick)
Thanks for the upload :)
What a beautiful range.

I had the good fortune to live in Miyakonojo (Takao) for two years. I wish I was still there!
The distance of your archery range is beyond impressive

That Bow String is alot stronger than it looks.. the Elder make it looks easy
Mesmerizing🙇🏻♂️
Very cool start to finish - Japan you've got to train some younger samurais though!
Parabéns! feito com ❤!!
Lord Varys, you did a great job.
Beautiful ancient art
What a dream job.
Absolutely fascinating.
Was für ein Kunstwerk
🙏 A pleasure to watch.
I remember Arnold made something similar. It wasn't attractive, but it was functional.
Such an art! Beautiful ❤
Seni, olah raga dan konsentrasi yang mengagumkan
Interesting trivia since I made a living for a long time of old and ancient woodworking tools = Japan is one of the very few cultures of the planet who shave and cut wood by hand on reverse pull stoke. Not push. I've bought some variety of traditional Japanese handheld wood working tools over the years and they work really well once you get used to them.
A great bow wow.
Bloody good from Australia well done
Amazing art 🌿
