I put a DBC 5.3 in my 94 s10. I got my cruise control to work. Was pretty easy because both the S10 and my donor vehicle both had cruise. Was a little more than a plug and play but it was pretty easy to hook up.
my set up is 6L DBC and everything work fine with out relay...but some time my ing. 12v fuse blow can't find where maybe a wire toutch ground? maybe when i move my tilt steering wire inside rub some where? did the relay can help for me? got no led bulb on my brake light
Good video thanks for sharing i have i question i have a drive by cable 6.0 I’m using a 1991 cluster from a suburban I have the same servo box as you, on the diagram picture you have the K wire says to connect to the VSS on the computer but I have the VSS from computer going to my cluster do I tap in to same wire and connect to the servo box letter K wire? Thank you in advanced
You can try that but I'm not sure if it will work. I've read that for some it worked and some not. If it doesn't you'll still have to figure out a way to get a vss signal to the cruise controller.
@@avarageerod thank you for the respond i really appreciated i was hoping to use the controller i have i read on a group that a 88-94 will work i think it does not need a signal from the computer i just have to buy another box i was trying to avoid thank you again
I hava a 1990 silverado with the cruise control box and the column shifter original from the truck and took off the computer orignal and have a holley terminator x max how can i do it work? And 4L80E as you as well with a ls engine
@@avarageerod did yours worked? I have also the origan brake light switch do you think if i wired the holley too make the odometer work and move the parameters that you move from the holley would work?
@@jaxjax5322 I do think it would work but I would use a separate output from the holly. If you are already using one for your speedometer just use the same setting on a different output and connect it to the vss of your original cruise control
Thank for youre video this is the only video on CZcams that says how too hook the ls cruise too the holley 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼not even holley knows how too do it

Do i have too put a cable too the holley pcm or just the cable too rpm and odometer?
Isn't one pin put for dbw relayed oned and the other dbc where did you put relays into I follow3d the non relay one and it don't work

a relay wouldn't help with that. It sounds like a short somewhere. Like you said, likely in the tilt steering. Good luck finding it
@@avarageerod thx i found it ...short was in tilt columm... buy a brand new stalk now all work great!

I'm not sure how to make that work since I havent done it, but if the original just needed a vss signal you can get that from the Holley terminator x

Are the relays necessary?
Yes, they momentarily pull what function is needed
what does 86 pins on the relays connect to in the diagram 3:07
They connect to the "set" switch
