I bought a running/driving 02 2500 donor from a coworker for 500.00. I’ll be putting the engine, trans in my K5 Blazer. I also will be using the hydro boost. Unfortunately I decided I’m going all out on rebuilding both and setup for turbo. Your 290hp at the wheels is awesome considering they only got 300 at the crank from the factory. Nice to see what an optimized tune can do rather than what the manufacturer puts in due to fuel economy, emissions, warranty etc.

That's a great 6.0 LS swap bro! on that C10, I've got a 95 Chevy c1500 I've got a 5.3 going in there, the only thing is...it's a five-speed nv3500 Transmission, so hopefully I can get this to work out....so I can enjoy that LS power in my obs.😎👍✌

Good job....I have watch ALOT of LS swap videos most of them I turn off halfway with the thought of idiot on my mind... Your video is entertaining to the point actually gave some pretty damn good information after watching the video I immediately subscribe and left alike and here's my comment ... My way of supporting good work. The only part you threw me off is somewhere in the middle you say you bought a 6l80 but I think you meant 4l80

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not always sure if anyone likes the video's but I appreciate you leaving a comment.
You are correct, I did say 6l80 when I meant 4l80. I've been researching the 6l80 and must have had it on my mind. I'm not good at editing video's so I try to do a lot in one take. I personally prefer the one-take videos I watch vs the over-editing with bad intro's so I try to do a better job at it.

I'm looking for a donor for my 66 c10 swb. Maybe I missed it but I don't remember what you used to run the 6L80. Does the terminator X run the motor and trans? Do you use the same wiring harness for both or separate? Need to figure out how these things work to know what it's going to take to look for in a donor. In other words, an I opening up a while new can of worms by running a trans that did not come with the motor like a 4l60e with a 4.8 or 5.3 or a 4l80 with a 5.3.

Motor mounts are made by Tejas Steelworks. I did resuse the stock transmission crossmember but had to move it forward a few inches and drill new holes. I am also using the stock driveshaft. That will depend on which transmission you are replacing as they have two different length th350. I had a 700r4 and the shaft was the correct length for me.
