    Thank you for the video. Did you use biotin also ?

      Absolutely! I don’t use biotin. I’ve heard it helps some people though.

    May you do a wash day, and explain how to do each step, to growing hair with alopecia .

      @iamnilsa  Před 2 lety

      Yes, I can do a wash day video!

      Will this be good for a 6-year old, because my daughter is the one who has alopecia?

      @@tiffany4965 I'm sorry to hear that. Honestly, the same rules would apply. I pretty much stick to natural products

      Sorry for overloading with to much questions, but could I do the same thing you are doing, even if I don’t have alopecia. It’s really confusing, I have low porosity hair, and the Shea moisture Manuka honey and mankura line has protein. How can I balance the moisture and protein?

    • @iamnilsa
      @iamnilsa  Před 2 lety

      @@tiffany4965 no worries! Yes, you can definitely do the same routine. I don’t have alopecia areata anymore, but I still stick to the same routine.
      I’m confused on the problem with protein and moisture. Are you not getting enough moisture?

    How long did it take your alopecia to go away ? I've been stressed out for a over a yr with back to back traumatic events and now I've devolped alopecia.my thick curly hair is thining so bad and everyday I wake up with new patches and now the circles are connecting.Im not going to use steroids or topical lotions but the burning sensation is so painful do you have any tips?

      Once I quit my job and changed my diet, it took a few months for my hair to start growing back. I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing hair loss too. Have you been to a dermatologist yet? I would recommend going to confirm it's alopecia areata. I would also suggest healthier eating habits. Eliminating certain things, such as diary, can help reduce inflammation in our bodies, which could be a reason why your hair isn't growing back.

    Hello, do I need a leave in conditioner as well

    • @iamnilsa
      @iamnilsa  Před 2 lety

      Currently, I'm using Carol's Daughter Leave-in-conditioner. It has castor oil which may help strengthen your hair. I like it.

      Thank you so much, does it matter the porosity of the hair ?

    • @iamnilsa
      @iamnilsa  Před 2 lety

      @@tiffany4965 I honest just try a product to see if it works for my hair or not. However, I would recommend searching for leave in conditioners for your hair porosity.

      One more question😅😅😅😅 is the deep conditioner a protein or moisture type mask

    • @iamnilsa
      @iamnilsa  Před 2 lety

      @@tiffany4965 I'm not sure right off the top of my head. I know the hair masks that I do are more for moisture.

    How do u know the sea moss is real if it doesn't have a strong sea moss taste???

    • @iamnilsa
      @iamnilsa  Před 2 lety

      You can add limes to your water as the sea moss soaks in order to help get rid of the strong sea taste. It also helps if you change the water and limes a few times while the sea moss is soaking.
