Hi Dave, to get one bubble you need to pull the straw back out of the solution as the bubble forms a shallow dish like a lens cap is best. I just use a strong washing up liquid mix, I add glycerine to make the bubbles mix to make them last, and a light over the top will give you more of the rainbow effect and totaly different every time.
