- Unboxing the Realme C31 and Realme C35 budget smartphones, including a comparison of the camera tech, gaming smarts, battery life and specs. Are these affordable phones two of the best at this price? Our Realme C35 vs C31 hands-on review shows these budget blowers in action.
In the UK, the difference between these mobiles is just £20 yet there's plenty of difference. For one, the Realme C31's 720p display is less sharp, bright and capable than the C35. You also get half the storage, and different camera hardware. That 13MP shooter is actually better in strong light vs the 50MP sensor of the more expensive handset though!
We wouldn't recommend either phone for gaming, on PubG and other Android titles that require fast reactions. However battery life is solid on the Realme C35 and the Realme C31.

Just bought the c31 as my back up gave up on life somehow (you´re screwed when your backup gives up on life). Hopefully this one will work until I get a decent one :D

Interesting, kind of tempting for old people like me who do not need all the bells and whistles of a high end device but alas they lack the one killer thing and that's the look, I believe that at this entry point manufacturers should experiment with the looks of their devices.

Both these phones should have a slogan = not for gaming. Also with such a tiny price difference the C31 seems pointless.
But they run games okay

Wouldn't really recommend any of those phones. For an extra £30 or £40 you could probabaly get something like the Xaomi X3 Pro which has a flagship chipset and a 120 Hz display
Realme rarely releases good budget phones.
@@sadnansami yes they do ... C11,21,21y,25y ... But c31 and 35 are a Little expensive ... I bought c21y 4/64 for 90 pounds but these two are a big no no at this price point

@@sadnansami The price,and that says it all ... The fact that you can purchase for 110€ a well balanced phone with Android 11,intuitive ui,very good price/spec, 4/64 GB says a lot ... For example here for the same price i can get a Samsung A03 Core with 2/32 GB,and lower specs,or Xiaomi Redmi 9C with a Helio G35 and 2/32 GB of storage or If is a discount the 3/64 version ... In my country i don't have a lot of options in this price range.
That's the thing - Android 11 is out of date technically with 12 becoming the standard for all phones. 64 gigs in a phone is no longer acceptable. I guess it all comes down to what an user prefers.
i would have said that this is a great deal till i got to know about the processor, this is nothing, the first realme has similar performance and it comes on a 4yo processor, plus it was the same price

C35 Very buggy. Good on spec sheet only. Got this for my son a few months ago but he swapped it with my Samsung A04.
Issues encountered...
Can't get 4G signal
MS Teams crashes
Edge browser crashes
I get better youtube video quality on my Samsung A04.
None of these issues with Samsung A04. Reviewers don't really test for compatibility with work essentials.

For a cheapo phone I'd still take the C35 over that pile of old toss SE you've just reviewed

For the sake of £20 you might as well get the C35 lol. Don't know why Realme even bothered making the C31.... I'd say this phone is perfect for someone young like a 10/11 year old just starting secondary (high school). But you know what kids are like. Unless it's the iPhone 12 or 13 they don't want It

See, Both are Absolutely TRASH phones. Or Say, Peasant Phone Extreme edition. Both if them are Trash in everyway. They can be used used as "secondary, backup etc... Phones though. Xiaomi/poco, Sammy, OPpo are Recommend at this price point, so you can get at least a bit better phone. Even better, Refurbished.
