    I installed my fog light harness and followed what you did to land that wire. Worked great! Factory fog lights installed and working well.

    I just finished doing these with my truck. Instead of using the fog lights, I hooked it up to a second battery solenoid. With this switch I can see when the second battery is charging when the dash light is on. Watching your vid really helped me out. Thanks!

    @ 6:53 the blue 15A fuse is the fog lamp that gets power from the switch you installed. Just get a "Fuse Tap" and plug in that fuse location. It already has the hot wire for the fog lamps so you don't have to remove and run the wire from underneath and risk causing other possible problems.

    You do not have to modify anything on the harness of the switch, just remove the one that does not have the auxiliary light button and connect the one that does have the button.

    I'm trying to figure out where to put the light. Not sure if I am able to use a bar light as fog and have it running while driving. I got the recovery hooks so it is a little fuller down there. Not sure yet if I will go with a bar in that slot or 2 small one below. Dont want to buy new end caps.

    Hey man I have a question my fuse box is coming out in once piece. Instead of top coming off like yours. Can you show me where that one wire connects too. It’s it the top right corner of the fog lamp relay or does it connect to the fog lamp fuse??

  • @seanlaskey2873
    @seanlaskey2873 Před 4 lety

    If you remove the factory plastic cover on the main wiring harness you’ll notice that there is already a wire for the fog lights. It’s bunches up an tied off a couple inches down. I’m not sure if there is a post to add to the switch though(pretty sure there is) all factory harnesses have the factory options, they just tuck them away per options. I noticed this while wiring my HID’s at the driver side headlight harness. It’s a blue wire with a white stripe. Hope this helps

    • @averybryant
      @averybryant  Před 4 lety +1

      Sean Laskey you are correct, only for certain trim levels though. In my case i had to add the wire myself

    Does anybody know if I can just plug wire fit into the fuse and push the fuse back into the box and it would work the same or do I have to take the fuse box apart but I use a bypass use and pushed into the fuse place

    Can you show how your electric radiator fans are wired up.

  • @AntonioHernandez-rx8hx

    Had a question when you swapped the interior switch to the new one I noticed the plug in had wires cut, is there rewiring that needs to be done when swapping the switch?

    • @AntonioHernandez-rx8hx
      @AntonioHernandez-rx8hx Před 3 lety

      @1:18

    • @averybryant
      @averybryant  Před 3 lety +1

      Nope no rewiring. The person i bought the switch from just cut the wires instead of unplugging it for some reason
