I have a 2008 2500HD Regency. I have watched hundreds of different content creators in an attempt to upgrade or fix carious parts of my vehicle. You are, without a doubt, the best instructor. You are very concise; you use many descriptions relating to position and orientation; and you go into great detail without skipping any steps. An idiot could follow your instructions and accomplish great things. Liked and subscribed!

Just finished this install on my 2010 silverado WT and my grey block was stuck underneath the fuse panel. I pryed one side out gently and it came out easy. Pushed my power lead in and you can see from the top of the grey block if its seated properly. I used a multi meter to test if the fog light harness had power and everything is fine. Definitely could not have done this without coming across this video. I salute you for posting it!!!

I just did this, along with installing new bumper & valance, & added fog lights to truck with none. - Loved the video. Very helpful. Much thanks. A couple things to add: When I tightened down one of the grounds the wiring on the neck under wrench turned & tore ~in half (is aftermarket, may be more fragile), so I backed out & put a big washer on top of the 3 grounds on that side (& did same on other side). Washer holds all in place nicely (video has washer there or bolt/washer combo). Be careful with fragile harness wiring. - 2nd: (this is mentioned in vid) After I took top off fuse box & finagled the big gray handles to remove the top black part, I had to use a LOT of force to remove mine, more than I thought, straight up. - 3rd: (not in vid) The small gray block underneath toward front that you put the wire into has (4) tiny gray over black tabs that have to be pushed back before the gray block will lift. I used (2) tiny screw drivers to remove one end then the other. It was a little challenge. - 4th: (reiterating what others have said) I had a hell of a time pushing in the side orange bar for the wire I'd put in the gray block. I didn't have any fat wires (yellow & black in vid), but found the slot by locating the smaller blue-green & green wires at one end. Thanks to the vid it's easy getting our wire into correct slot & feeling it hit bottom, but I couldn't push closed the orange side bar until I used a tiny screwdriver to carefully force our red wire down further & pushing it down much harder than comfortable. But that worked. Electrical wires: One minute you tear them just lightly putting on a bolt to secure them, next minute you're shoving them into a little slot.

When finished, I found the fog light on the side with the torn ground wire to be dimmer than the other. Word on the street is it's most likely to be that damaged grounding wire.

Should I just tap off the fuse in the block?!

There is a flange on the bezel that can break or scratch your lower panel if it’s not removed. It also gives you room so that you can pull straight back on the bezel. Some guys will break their retaining tabs/clips, because they pull the bezel at an angle - because the lower panel is in the way. Just don’t want anyone mad at me because they f***ed something up.
