I've been flirting with the thought of EFI also, you've taken the guess work out of where to put the fuel pump assembly👍👍👍.
It was a process trying to find a good solution. I will be completing the install in the next few weeks so we'll see how it turns out.
Hello Matt. Even though I will not be doing this mod to my Tbird, it was interesting to see you figure out where to put it. I'm thinking dad gets first ride when she's ready for the road!

Hey George. You're right.. my dad has been right there with me on this build and he will get to go for the first test run for sure.
I've been looking to do this mod for a few years. I have the external pump (mounted high) but I don't trust it. As you know, the Birds tank is rather oddly shaped and doesn't lend itself to adding an EFI pump. I've wondered if I could space the tank down enough to not have to drill through the trunk. You did some nice engineering with your install and can enjoy not worrying about it like I have to.
Just a note, the biggest mistake I made with my EFI was using one that was too big. I used a Sniper 4 BBL 900 CFM and it's way over sized for my mild 390. Some day I'll probably buy the 2 BBL unit to improve drive-ability.

Hey Scott. Sounds like we've both been doing a lot of thinking about that odd shaped tank.. lol. I haven't decided completely on the EFI system yet but am leaning towards the Edlebrock pro flo.
