Nice feature. Similar to imessage. Question. I just ordered the Tab S6 LTE version. Once this is enabled will a call or text you initiate from the tablet be coming from the phone number or the tablet number. I understand that you will receive calls and messages from the phone and be able to respond from that "number". I'm wondering about calls or messages that originate from the tablet and more so if the tablet is not in close proximity of the phone. Hope that makes sense.

What happens if you're outside with your tablet connected with your phone while its home? Does it only happens only while in close range or no? I want to try this with my grandma's samsung tab s6 (i own the samsung a52s 5G) but I don't have the time and i go rarely there
I have a Galaxy A20 and a Galaxy Note 9. Both support this feature but can i do this continuity on two phones or is it mandatory that one device should be a tab and other a phone?

I have a us unlocked s10+ and wifi tab s4.. Everything works inbound just fine. When I initiate the outbound call.. it switches to the phone.. why is that? Is there a setting that needs to be tweaked?

I have this feature since pie on s9 plus. I have it on s10 plus calls&texts to other devices. To work you have to move contacts to your Samsung account. My galaxy Tab A got this feature on pie. So i can make and receive calls or texts on my tablet. Very useful if my phone is on charge. But no one makes a video of this working on galaxy Tab A 10.5.

This feature is not available on Verizon devices! Makes me not like Verizon.
I have Verizon S9 and tab s4. And feel very frustrated that such a great feature is not available to us. There's always an option to use Verizon messages, but I just don't like design and it was unstable in the past...
I just ran into same issue in Maine with U S Cellular - still charging me the same price but this valuable feature not available
When you pair the phone to the tablet do call log and messages log automatically goes to your Tablet because in my tab s7+ I don't see anything from my S10+? Also,I have 2 sims cards to my phone and when I receive a call in the second sim,it does not appear on the tablet 🤔😐
If I travel to other country ( USA ), Can I leave my phone at home (Asia ) and use this feature to call and text with my tablet in other country over wifi or data?
Does the tablet have to have cellular data on it for this to work? Or can the tablet be wifi only?
This does not work with US Verizon and At&t customers.

I dont qualify for it yet. I use AT&T for my Galaxy S10. It's for S10 devices only and for sprint, tmo and unlocked. Sorry

Have the unlocked Tab S6 LTE and unlocked Note 10. When I use this feature I can only send regular txt messages but I can't make or receive calls, it shows invalid number on the Tab S6 which is strange when linked because the regular txt messages go through without a hitch!?
The Samsung Note 20 Ultra does not have the Call and Message setting? is there away to install it
From what I gather: 1. Both devices must be on the same WIFI network. 2. The tablet must have cellular data connectivity. Is this correct? OR will this feature work remotely via WIFI (if the tablet only has wifi capabilities)?
Just got the galaxy note 10 + and noticed when im on a call there is a live video option but its always greyed out. Can u do a video explaining how to use that. I think its a new update??
i got both my samsung tab s6 and my note 20 5g on the same account with samsung. But in the tab s6 area .. it doesn't show up calls and text... also on my note 5G it shows the link connected to my watch 3 just not connected to my tab s6 ..... there is something wrong??
Tab S6 lite LTE has the feature as well btw. Does anyone know if there is a way to do that with a Samsung Tablet and a NON Samsung Phone?

Hi Jimmy I love your videos . I am having a problem with my note 10+ I'm not getting any notifications from my stock messages app. Wanted to know if you heard anything about this.
This depends on notification settings that could change with the user. I'd say go to settings, apps, scroll to messages and clear the data. It wont delete anything except settings changed and see if that helps. And look at any notification settings for messages if something got turned off
No nothing has changed it just stopped giving notifications a couple days ago. Did clear cache and data no change.

Don't have the "Call and Text on other devices" option on my Note 10 Plus, AT&T.
Same here. On AT&T, and I do not have that option in Advance Settings.

I followed what you did in the video but still the two devices wouldn't connect, I've wiped the cash,repaired the apps and rebooted several times but invain, I still can't make phone calls or text with the tab 7 with note 10 plus. This feature is not working any more with android 11 or what could be the problem.
Try Google messaging or mighty text. No calling though jus text
No call and message option on TabS4 Verizon LTE version (SM-T837V). I only got this because it was a great deal, never intended to put a SIM card in but it would be great to share calls and messages from my Note 10+.
They want you to pay for Verizon Number Share which is 5-10bucks a month. They disabled it
so if (on my phone) it's a hotmail account and (on my tablet) it a Gmail account, it won't connect cause there not using the same accounts?
you want to have your samsung account on your phone and then log in on your laptop. you should always be logged in with your samsung account on your phone. so many reasons to.
S6 does not have the call and message continuity option I have note 10 and S 6 tab I can text but not phone calls help !!!!

I have the note 9 on tmobile network and I don't have the option for call and text to link it to my tablet s4
I have note 8 and tab s6. Samsungs says released tmobile says it's not. I even went to samsung and had my software flashed. Still nothing. I am convinced tmobile is holding out.
I have the note 9 on tmobile network and have spent hours between samsung and tmobile trying to figure this out and neither companies have been a help. Either of you figure this out yet? Or know if its been released for my device trying to connect note 9 to my samsung Galaxy Tab s5e!
@@bri327danielle not yet. All I know for sure is that Samsung confirmed that my software version does not have this feature yet. This is getting old. I spend around 900 per device from samsung only to learn about awesome features I am supposed to have but then have to wait months for like wireless android auto.
