wow I'm impressed with how smooth an operator Clint is, never seen anyone use a split bucket so good...
I’ve spent more time running equipment then working on it believe it or not
Glad you got my old track hole going. Good job just when you get ready drop it off here and I will put it to work. lol
😂🤣
I'll state from experience that those clamshell buckets really enhance the capabilities of a loader! Can't wait til she get's her pump transplant, you'll probably want to keep her for yourself.
They are the only way to have one is with the 4n1
Kevin was here # extra parts may be missing or in wrong location. Lol God bless
🤦♂️🤷🏼♂️
Allot of guys earned a living running small track loaders pushing dirt and logging. You put on a good clinic on smooth 4 in 1 bucket operation. Great video!
Thanks
Hope mother's day finds all well at your place
Thanks
You to
Boy when you test a machine you test the hell out of it…great job…
It’s an unknown transmission and steering clutches so gotta make sure it’s right
This is the video I've been waiting for.
We need a good ending to this.
🤞
+C&C Equipment: An excellent video on completing rebuild of the diesel engine and related pieces/parts for this piece of earth moving equipment. Reasonably thorough coverage of the principle components/labor/technical aspects of the rebuild.
Enjoyed all of the video, except _failure_ of the injector pump. Would have thought, given the time/effort/money put into everything else, said pump would have been highly suspect. Accordingly, that injector pump should have been replaced in the process, as well. That said, was not in your position, financial and/or otherwise, so-o-o...
In any event, you have snagged the standard You Tube 'thumbs-up' award. In addition, you've managed to lay hold of the highly-prized, much-sought-after "Old Curmudgeon," three 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 award, for an outstanding video, superbly done and presented.
Looking forward to the _?upcoming?_ video, showing actual _final completion_ of the rebuild/rework required for full restoration of the *_John Deere 455E Track Loader_* .
Best and keep 'em comin', young 'not-so-gentle' men!
Thanks for the words
Another excellent video Clint. Kevin is not only a good mechanic, he is also a pretty good videographer!! Sorry to see the fuel pump die but my guess is you were not completely surprised. Seems like you guys could create a paid subscriber program to help the DIY crowd resolve mechanical issues they are encountering too. Chris at Lets Dig 18 gave you a shout out for helping with his D6 radiator replacements. Nice to see you guys helping each other.
Thanks
Any chance of seeing Kevin doing one of his camo paint jobs. Maybe you could find DP a grill for his new Haul truck and then sell him a camo paint job for it . That should be a pretty cool video.
Maybe in the future
Tell Clint Kevin he's running that thing like he might know what he's doing
Great video, thanks. Looking forward to the pump replacement and the undercarriage improvements. Really enjoy your channel.
Thanks
We have something cool planned for that
Older John Deere apply to this old school motto,"nothin runs like a deere
Great little machine. Still cheaper to fix up than current machines with def fluid and egr systems. People will fight over this machine.
Let’s hope
Clint you have a super channel if a person wants heavy equipment knowledge and watching you and kelvin working together. It’s better than all the screaming and put down jokes on DP. This is a perfect teaching video. I don’t understand the low subscribers for 10 years. Maybe y’all need to throw a few wrenches at each other. Stay safe
Thanks
Great work guys, the "Kevin was here" signed filter is priceless.
Sounding good, till the pump got weak, sure hope Kevin gets a paycheck soon, he's down to eating bananas. I can remember a time when a Mayonaise sandwich was all there was for supper.
Times are rough!
Go little dozer it's a lot of work you did on it and yet to do be a great dessert for the right job
Great running machine, I would like to see that injection pump being rebuilt if you don’t just replace it. I rebuilt injection pumps about 15 years ago and they are actually pretty simple designs. Can’t wait to see the under carriage work and the final product at work! Great job guys!
Stay tuned we have something very exciting in that
I got a song for you so like Toby Keith song I love that bar this one's I love that garage have a good day and a better tomorrow
Lol
@@C_CEQUIPMENT I'm glad you guys aren't in the politics I'm going to bring up one thing I know you guys are the best damn mechanics and Diesel your ancestors may have been mechanics on the Titanic they did an awesome job the Democrats got on that boat Mother Nature did a great job too she had an iceberg out there waiting for them I said that to the Fox News platform they gave me a thumbs up on that one have a nice day
Equipment doesn't like to sit, I'll take an older piece that has been run regularly over the same age unit that has very low hours. I use to be the maintenance manager for an oil spill team. Equipment that was run constantly we had very little to no problem with. But I could have a pump or any piece of equipment sit on the shelf for a year right after a major service and would bet you that when we fired it up we would have issues with it. After working around equipment most of my life, one thing I can spot is a company with integrity. C&C Equipment, in my opinion, stands at the top.
Thanks very much for sharing.
Thanks for the words and thanks for watching
Nice job, looks like a very handy size machine. Tell Kevin two banana's a day!
Lol
Thanks. Looking forward to when you have it all ship shape.
always a good thing when they kackle right up
Greate video Clint on the Deere 455E .
Thanks
Do >not< forget the flapper on the exhaust pipe, that's how the water started the whole mess.
Yep
Those are cute little tractors! I've sat in the seat of track loaders for thousands of hours:) Look out for a Cat 943 Track Loader in good shape, best little Track loader I've ever run:)
There is a little ball valve on top of the pump that allows excess fuel to bleed off the pump. Quite often it gets plugged and will not let the pump work properly. Also the leak off line that routes to each injector can get plugged with junk and will keep the pump from working right. Check this out before taking the pump in for rebuild. It could save you a bunch.
Yep I have done all of that
Clint, I'm sure you will, but please record the undercarrige replacement as we will love it. Thanks!!!!
We will for sure
4 way bucket takes me back to a much better time.
Well it nearly got there - just a couple more gremlins to sort. Pockets may need sewing up after this though, ready for the next project..
Lol
What many of you guys probably don't know is that the diesel doesn't actually run the dozer, it just powers a generator, and everything else on this is electric. Hence the E in 455E.
Those tracks are slicks…
I can see you are enjoying yourself running the old school
I love track loaders
I've enjoyed this series Clint . That little 455 it's going to make somebody a nice little loader. Get the injection pump straightened out and new undercarriage on it, be good to go.
An acquaintance of my grandfather had a 455E . And a single axle Ford dump truck with tag trailer. A lot of the smaller jobs my grandfather couldn't handle he would send them to this guy's way with the 455 John Deere. This guy also bought a lot of dirt from my grandfather through the years.
Mack
That’s cool
Old iron for the WIN! That would make someone a nice farm machine.
Yep
Thanks guys great video reconditioned or new pump all good thanks for sharing 🇦🇺🦘👍
love to see another track loader brought back from the dead. Love this video.
Thanks
You two are a hoot. Kevin reminds me of my older brother who would always ask me to pull his finger and if I did he'd let one rip. I love your videos, which are a combination of fun and knowledge. Thanks for sharing. Love your channel.
Thanks
One will teach you a lot of different things on a large variety of equipment, and one will just make you scratch your head lol but so worth the watch.
THAT THING RUNS LIKE A 🦌...DEER 👍
That old dozer looking good alot of work
Thank you! Appreciate both you and Kevin and yes your relationship. Pretty cool. Sorry for The money pit .God bless
Good Morning, Glad to Finally see the old Girl come to Life. You Fella’s are Top Notch at what you do. Looking Forward to the Next one. Keep It Safe Out There
Funny you mention its like a VW motor (Yes i said motor not engine) Those are what I worked on. Back in the day I could have an air cooled MOTOR out in 10 minutes and the transmission out in another 10. Such were the days of simplicity. I guess thats why I love watching yall work on old school equipment. Keep posting rebuild videos. Longer the better in my opinion. Glad I found your channel through DP and LD18.
Thanks
The old stuff is so much easier for sure
Success, ok a fule pump issue but you took scrap dead frozen equipment and made it as good as the day it came off the dealers floor. Your workmenship, skill and knowledge is commendable! Thanks for sharing this project!
We try
Nothing runs like a Deere! Great Job!
You ever get that feeling that if it wasn’t for bad luck you wouldn’t have any luck at all. I feel the pain.
Daily it seems like lol
I rebuilt the pump for my JD engine on my genset. Parts were less than $100 and it was a simple job, you just have to be very careful handling the small parts, and keep it clean.
Oh Deere....time to make a new decal upstairs? Meet the new JD 450$$ ? 😉 Great content Clint
Exactly
Hey Clint just a mention GoPro makes cameras that clip to your hat so both your hands are free, a heck of a concept and don't say you can't afford one the channel Pwalpar is run by an old retiree who uses those exclusively he did a lot of rail fanning at first now he tells about his life in the navy and as a railroad carman. He was to railcars as Kevin is to heavy equipment. I don't record anything but Kevin is hot.
Good to see the old girl up and running! Nice job on the rebuild. Few gremlins still in the works.. but you will get that with most rebuilds.. Thanks for sharing and look forward to the next episode on this 455E :) You and Kevin are legends for taking the time to vide-document and work in your own time to edit these videos and upload them to us the viewers/ Huge Huge thanks guys
Thanks
Squatch 253 did a short vidio about generating content for You Tube. He has a D2 that he had bought for parts, decided to overhaul it because there was a lot more interest in those videos than the restoration of the MM prototype. So my opinion on repairing this unit, while maybe at a financial break even, it generates views and that's what pays.
Let’s hope
Thanks for reply.
Sounds good, with it been sitting up probably some spring and seat in the pump came apart thanks for the video
Thanks for watching
Looks like Clint should go teach Chris from. Let's dig 18 how to run track loader. 🤣
Snap
Always an adventure. Thanks Clinton
Thanks
It looks like the tracks are ducked. If it was ours we would be taking it to Steve Woods undercarriage experts. They have all the machinery for retracking.
Did you check that filters green card. Lol God bless
Nice job again.👍
Area Diesel Service/ Watch Wes Work used them. He very satisfied with their work. You probably have your to go shop and heard of this outfit. I thought I would just mention it. Since a certain administration has the country all *#@ked up!
Stay tuned we have something exciting planned for that
Another great video guys👍
That was my guess was a fuel issue
Too bad the pump died on you.
This is why I think you are one of the best used dealers. Great of you to run it and find out now👍
Your a good man Clinton
Thanks
She's a good machine I'm sure it will turn out ok.
Nice job. Looking forward to seeing it operate with the fuel injection pump fixed. Good luck!
Keep going, great video!!
Thanks for the video
Love to see old iron brought back to life, great video.
Thanks
...4 - 20...surprised U got any work done! : ^ )))
👍🤙👏great job!
Nice little loader!
Have a 450B dozer ,have learned so much watching your channel.
Thanks

You place looks like Indy in the air😊
Nice rebuild on a nice tractor. Great video Clinton.
Thanks
killer job
Good video.
Well hell,
hated to hear about that pump at the end. I know there was a lot of labor & parts put in it, and it will be a great piece of equipment again. Look forward more of these types of videos.
Thank you sir.
Thanks
Love watching and learning about all these machines
Nice job guys 👍🏻🇺🇸
Wish I had the money to buy it an have it fixed new under carriage an have it delivered to Mississippi
When you're done with it, it's practically going to be a new machine. 👍👍
Wating for you to get back to the 175.
Yep
Waiting on a couple parts for the 175
Great job.
Love seeing the old iron!!!
Sorry to hear the news regarding the injectors pump. Besides that it looked real good. Right before you made note regarding the exhaust i was noticing it starting to smoke a little. Really impressed with it. Had to be the one thing you didnt replace. Working with all other new parts. It is better to go now rather than after she was sold . Its going to be a great machine when your finished. Keep up the great video's. Great to watch.
Andy. Perth AUSTRALIA
Thanks
just had same similar problems with my 350 case dozer and injection pump is weak on it as well thanks thanks and thanks
nice job 👊
I just hit like before I ever see the video, that's how confident I am that it will be a good one.
Well thanks
Sounds good guys
Morning coffees on!! Enjoying!! My morning go to!!Cheers!
Voils construction. That answered the question.
perfect can not ask for more
WOW someone is going to get a really sweet machine! Even if they have to cough up some extra green !! It will really be sweet don’t think there is anything you have not touched!! Again another great, through job you and your guy’s are amazing lucky person who gets this machine!
Thanks
Greetings from No VT - That is a super size unit for a lot of situations, lots of power with a compact frame and excellent push, reach, and dump characteristics. Bummer on the pump but when you get that and the under carriage updated this is one impressive piece of equipment. You can legitimately advertise it as a complete rebuild - it will give the buyer a lot of pain free hours of operation.
Let’s hope so
Thank you Clinton for another fine video. I surely do hope you pay your special friend (Kevin) because friends are important but friends who can paint? Priceless (Right Kev?)
That’s right 😁
Great video and getting close to having a good running machine. 👍
I love that little black trailer. Don’t see it online.
Hey there Clint, love your content, when are we going to see a video of Kevin working is magic prepping and painting a machine for resale, would really like to see that. Maybe even one of Randy getting a caked on mud cluttered machine cleaned and ready for shop work.
One day
I was waiting to see it run.Another great video
Thanks
so nice to hear it purr on that first start
also moving under its own power was nice.
its a bugger about the pump but kinda not surprised after how much water was in it.
Thanks
good work on fix !
Brill Vid, what a team.
Thanks
well done - as always - you go guys!
Thanks
ty, you always remind me of working with my dad on his tri axle dump .
