Really that intensive Jake brake empty and only having a storage container on both ways get a life
Studies show that Jake brakes are quieter than an 18 wheeler crashing into a house
@@C_CEQUIPMENT soooooo true
@@C_CEQUIPMENT he just jelly that his tesla dont make them sounds, i am guessing he drives a volvo, jk
@@C_CEQUIPMENT im gonna remember this one! Hilarious 😂😂💀
@@ericwise2112 lol
Mechanic pro tip: pull the dipstick and look at the color stain. Burnt rings or valve (black, crunchy, sometimes bubbly), light caramel (extended oil change interval), golden color (ran the engine out of oil) completely shiny (maintained and not ran hot). Exhaust inspection. Black smoke (gas or diesel not burning), blue smoke (oil is burning), white smoke ( water is burning or turbo has failed). Just passing along knowledge! 🤪
White smoke can be a number of things
Thank you bud
No smoke: Dead.
@@tomrogers9467😂😅😂😅😂😅🎉❤
Always cool to watch a pro pick apart auction equipment and learn stuff I'd have never known in the process. `Ol Pete sounds great too. 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
love these auction vids, always amazes me that you can just get into any of those vehicles & know how to operate them & where everything is, while at the same time doing the sums in your head calculating whether they are worth a bid or not. thanks for taking us along.
He even knows that cat has a oil fill at the left hand side, Deer at thr right.
Glad you enjoyed
@@C_CEQUIPMENT Absolutely, it's like having a training class.
Didn't get the old super duty, did it go to high for you or was it not worth getting?
Thanks Clint and Happy Holidays to all your family and Kevin also.
My favorite youtube channel is Western Truck Repair. Warren works on rusted, busted, twisted and bent junk. Somehow he manages to get it to run. This here channel of your is a solid #2 on my favorites!!
Thanks
Anyone thinking about buying heavy equipment like you buy and sell will learn a lot about what to look for when buying used equipment watching your videos! SEATBELTS Dad!
Clint, if you see "good values, cheap" for the novice buyers, quick thoughts are always appreciated. 👍 I really appreciate how much knowledge you share with us.
You bet
I like the look of that container, makes the storage much more useable with the side doors, you can easily access anything in there without having to move a bunch of stuff out of the way.
That’s cool how you can work those trailer ramps to make room for forks. When you loaded that I was actually wondering how that was gonna go. C&C class in session !
I just figured they’d fire up a crane. 🤷♂️
Experience & Knowledge are KING when it comes to things like auctions! Simple things like knowing that at 9k hours those Cats need major service or just by opening one cap you can tell the health of a engine! Or knowing that one company copied another companies machines and weather or not they were any good and that’s how you either pass something up or get a great deal on something! Great video as always!
Love this type of content!
I enjoyed seeing all the equipment and your comments😊😊😊😊😊
Always like watching you at Auctions, quite Entertaining and informative.
P
Glad you like them!
Please more auction videos. And fun to watch you drag home more stuff.
I'm betting that Cat came from a landfill job. Interesting to see and hear how you figure what you may want and why you steer clear of the junk. Happy New Year to the entire team Clint! Edit. As Marcel W pointed out I should have said Case not Cat.
I believe it was a Case dozer, but landfill would be my guess as well.
@@marcelw223 case 2050, I could smell the landfill up here in Estonia.
@@marcelw223 Thanks and you are correct Sir. Case it is. Happy New Year
Yep, landfill is my bet too. The seagulls here in NZ are trying to get to it!
Im gonna go with a coal mining area or something similar.
Love the auction videos and how you go thru different machines and what to watch for. Would like to see you go thru wheeled and tracked skid loaders and review what to watch for
Love these auction videos. Have watched you check for blow by on these big pieces of equipment and wondered what it looked like. Finally got a good look at what it does looks like in this video. Thanks Clint another great vid.
In a business like yours Clint you can never have enough storage. Well done.
Enjoy watching the auction live and also while you inspect the equipment
Nice Sea Can. I like the eazy access side doors 👍. Looked like slim pickings at the auction. All the Best for the New Year 🎉🍻
Thanks! You too!
Great video as always what I do like is the faith you put in your boys love to see them learn from dad 😁👍🇨🇦🇨🇦
That's a really good storage container, lots of easy to access sections which makes it a keeper. If you put the back to the road you can plank your logo on it, free advertising space, and what a brilliant bit of fork lift driving. Steel containers are so useful, in my old job I was always either purchasing or hiring them, ideal for storage solutions. In the UK the added bonus is that you don't need planning permission as they are a temporary structure, unless of course your linking in front of a listed building. Happy New Year to all at C&C.🎉🍷
I like videos you tell a lot things to look for on equipment thanks corky
It seems that a lot of your viewers, me included, love auction videos. Great purchase on the 1st container. Very handy to have the side doors. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks
I did equipment for about 12 years I miss being around it figuring out how to load different stuff just always kept me on my feet. Those old Taylors are so easy to operate and like the close cab
Clint you have a great channel and the joke brakes are the best sound out thanks for sharing your thoughts and videoing picking up that container
Thanks 👍
The Jake and sweet turbo from big blue alone is worth a big fat 👍. Love that truck.
All the Best For The New Year Clint & Family 2023🍻🍻🍻🥂🥂🥂
I'm not even close to being in your industry but I love watching your videos lately. You have a ton of invaluable experience, I'm sure plenty are watching these videos like a hawk for every bit of info. Happy holidays and new year's!
First thing I learnt buying plant - in my small way - was 9000 hours is "Lifetime" when it comes to most machines. At those hours, a full rebuild is on the cards & ideally someone else would be paying for that rebuild, not me.. Also your videos, Quentin, are a great way for the average guy with even small smarts to start feeling very dumb & broke by comparison. :-)
I like that container you bought. It's different.
Brilliant stuff, always fascinating and the skill and knowledge is impressive . Happy New Year from Durham England
Same to you!
Not only am I a subscriber, and I always give you a thumbs up, I also think that trailer is a one of a kind that I have seen. Great job Mr C, you also have some very good kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic job this year. I enjoyed all of the videos, and some of them more than once. You have a great crew there. Thank You for sharing your work. I'm looking forward to next ( or rather this) year. Outstanding!
Thank you very much!
It is preferable to place the container on wood or block to protect it from rain, which causes rust over time
✋🌷
I enjoy the auction videos. Hunter is getting better at driving the big fork lift.
I like watching your Auction videos. I actuall like all your videos no matter what they are about. I have become a huge fan of your channel.
Thanks for taking us along to look at the equipment Clint.
I guess I've never noticed or else I just thought your building was a blue color for some reason... But in this video I really noticed it's grey and lemme tell you that it's one awesome and sweet looking building you guys have there. I love that grey color. And I also absolutely LOVE watching these auction videos you do.
Thanks
Those shipping containers I seen on zip ties n bias plies channel he flipped it over welded a I bean on top so he could run a hoist w a cummalong to pick up stuff from the back easily , I thought that was a slick idea , I’m sure u guys run into that problem , needing the thing from the back of the container 👍👌👌👌🤘
I think you where right about that auction, best thing there was that snazzy container you bought.
Clint, watching your channel and seeing you get that Super Duty put together has lit a small fire in my ass to get my 74 fixed up. Slowly but surely, the rust has turned to solid sheet metal again, holes filled and yesterday I looked like SpongeBob after sanding off the old yellow paint. Keep it up! You do great work!
Pretty interesting. Very nice, easy access parts container.
Nice looking container... pretty clean..
Maybe one day you could snatch one of those tired, high hours rubber-tracked skid steers and another pickup for a shop project... and make a half-track half-truck out of them.
Another great video, Clinton! Your videos are some of the best on CZcams. I like you involve your family. Love your auction videos also. Keep up the good work because you definitely know what you are doing. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching
Always like your trips to the auctions bro and the way you select potential purchases. 2022 is almost done and dusted here in NZ with only 4 hours left. Most likely stay up to greet the new year in. Safe travels to you and all the crew at C&C
Love the auction videos should've bought the Cat with the toasted engine then have engine rebuild video material 👌
Do need the experience lol
Blanchard I believe started in South Carolina... I'm new to the channel but I am very impressed with your son's abilities... good to see a young man doing real work!!
Welcome aboard!
Another great video Clint always enjoy watching what’s going on at CC equipment
Another video worth its weight in gold. Always enjoy learning how to look at construction equipment from you.
I can do farm equip but have learned a lot from you in this area.
Thanks.
real nice operation!
When you set up the container put some blocks under it so the floor can breath ,just a suggestion,I do that with all my storage containers
The sound of that Jake never gets old
That's one good looking container - very useful and in good condition.
good to see how things work in the UAS ,happy new year to you all from Colchester in the UK
I've driven past these places over the decades, but never ventured in. Thanks for the tour.
As I'm watching this episode I happened to notice your driving the new Bronco. I work at Michigan Assembly where that is built, thank you for your purchase and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy watching the transformation of the older equipment.
Thanks for the info!
I’ve actually been to the Don Smock auction a few times, it was neat to see you somewhere I’m familiar with.
Another great video, am loving your knowledge on the why’s and wherefore’s of to buy or not to buy at an auction.
Clinton thank you taking the time to give us a little more experience on the auction side of your business. Looking forward to the Florida auctions and possibly some interaction with DP and Letsdig18! Maybe can take some time and do a podcast with your dad or your wife.
🤔 maybe 🤷♀️😂
@@mrsclinton it would be nice to hear you side of the story. 🫵👍👍👍👍😊
@@davidbillings615 😂😂 yes… Clinton would love to hear my side too 👍👍
CLINT, PLEASE PLUG IN YOUR DAMN SEAT BELT lol Happy Holidays as far as the CASE dozer, landfill for the waste management is my guess
Few people know their jobs like Clint. Great guy
Nice container box , never seen one with all the doors, very versatile. 👽
Thanks for the ride along sir. Interesting to go thru what to look at on equipment at auctions again and the newer equipment with emissions and def. Looking forward to the auction trip, maybe you can get Dirt Perfect to bid on a Kevin excavator!😊
I've been a long time lurker and finally subbed. I just have to admire your knowledge and explanations of what you look for. Sprockets, idlers, tracks... even low hours doesn't mean there's not a problem. And that one dozer, trash pusher, for sure. Thanks for sharing and keep fixing and selling machinery!
Welcome aboard!
I'm guessing the Case was in a landfill. That trick with the trailer ramps is something I'm going to keep in mind. Always good to learn something new.
Put something under the container, it will dry and keep rust away.
Yes i like to watch videos of you going through these auctions and checking for defects. As always have a nice day
“Plenty of stuff, all a little rough”.
Yep, that’s auctions for ya!
I think the rule of used equipment is: If it runs good, sell it private. If it’s junk, auction it!
Have a happy and safe new year to all the people that work with you and God bless all of you
that lift in Trailor is too cool. the doors on side is awesome
I replied to a few comments that were knocking you about jake brakes. You done no one any harm. It saves tractor and trailer brakes and brake fading so go for it.
As for the dirty cat I'm gonna go with some king of mining. Whatever it is it's Life is over. Great video. You and your Family Have A Happy New Year and God Bless.
That kiss was in the dump weed down deep in the dump lol fun stuff to work on those tracks
Hay Clint, a nice container with all those doors 👍. From the Netherlands I wish you, your family and all your C&C employees a healthy and successful 2023 👊💪🥂🍻🍾
Thanks
That Case 2050 looks like it had a hard life pushing trash . For a young man Tucker operates that forklift like a pro . Good job !!
Nice buy on the container.
Slick set up on your trailer, makes life easier unloading. 👌
There is a Little town called Blanchard, Louisiana. I do not know about Blanchard Equipment. There are equipment dealers in Blanchard that I am aware of. I have lived near Blanchard for 20 years and have equipment. Keep the great videos coming.
Thanks for the info
I always enjoy your auction videos. Always learn something!
Glad you like them!
Clint you are a freak of knowledge when it comes to earth moving equipment, I pick up so much info just on your walkabouts, always interesting to hear your thoughts and comments. All the best for 2023 Clint
Glad to help
Lotta cool stuff Clinton! 🙂👍 I really like that old Euclid haul truck!
It was cool for sure
Garbage dump!! Some good items there!
I like to walk around that you do on auctions because it really helps an very, very seldom buyer like myself know what to look for and avoid. And that last dozer 😂
Case was probably on Craigs list before this auction based on how clean it was
I really enjoy this channel
Thanks
Thanks for the video I enjoy these quite a bit enjoy the Peterbilt sights and sounds always enjoy equipment for some reason my favorite part is when there's the father son interaction as time goes on your sons there will be more interaction but there's enough at the moment thanks all happy New Year
Pulling the long load off the trailer with the fork truck, get it off the truck lower it to about 2" off the ground, that way if it tips its not going far, move the tractor trailer out of the way or out of the yard.
Then move the item to its storage area.
Now what could you use that for?
Well looks like it has a lot of side doors.
It work at a business or farm with lots of small equipment or landscaping gear.
Perhaps a plumbing contractor, or construction companies yard. Or just a farm. You can stock feed, straw implements for a tractor, tools or small equipment and stock inside out of the weather high and dry, and away from theft. One hell of a storage container.
Good to see you Fella’s, finally a few minutes to catch a Vidja, Happy New Year to you all
Same to you!
Clint, love that equipment trailer. Had no idea it had the forward ramp. One of the most versatile trailers that I have ever seen. Thanks very much for sharing. Here is wishing you and yours a very Happy New Year.
Glad you enjoyed it
That old Pete sounds just lovely!..as far as those 6n’s go, I would have to say they came from a neglectful home...they likely ran them with dirty air filters and didn’t change the oil like they should have!...I’ve seen lots of 6m/n’s with way more hours than that with zero blow by and never had a wrench in them!..typically they were a 10000hr engine and then you were looking for a new drop in...top end usually failed abruptly but if you were crazy about maintenance you could easily get 12000hrs out of them and I have seen as much as 15000hrs but that was rare... very nice trim dozers and very nice to run!..those ones were toast but for the right price they would be worth having and clearly they didn’t go for the right price!..good video!
AWSOME STORAGE CONTAINER.NEVER SEEN ONE MADE LIKE THAT.
Big fan of you walking through the auctions keep em comming
Will do
the case was a landfill machine. i worked years ago for B.F.I. hauling roll off boxes and i knew instantly where it came from. a nasty stinky tire wrecking work site.
i enjoy seeing those ford aeromax still around
Blanchard Cat is on everything down here in Charleston... yea, they are out of our capital Columbia here in SC as far as I can tell...
😮 ❤ C & C Equitment is the Best ! ! !
I enjoy watching you all!
Thanks so much
Thanks for taking us along with you great watch 👍👋🇨🇦
Thanks 👍
Blanchard's Main Office is in Columbia, SC with several location throughout SC
👍 Just the ability to label a door and grab an item out from behind it is a no brainer. The room saved on not having a path down the middle and not having to dig around is well worth the extra $.
Great video Clint. Happy New Year to you, Family, and crew!
Same to you! You
