Got regular unleaded 87 octane for $2.85 a gallon in Mid Michigan, which is down from $3.39 2 weeks ago. 👏👏 very happy about that. We had our first snow last week about 2 inches melted the next day and about to be 50 F degrees for the next 2 days then back near freezing for Saturday /Sunday. I live on the water and the last few flights of geese have been migrating for the winter. Squirrels are fat with acorns and ready for winter and the local birds are emptying my bird feeders every couple of days, Deer hunting season is over so the deer are back to their normal routines, winter is coming quick and so is Christmas ,so make sure you got your Xmas tree up on Josh,and your presents tucked up under it.Keep on keeping on .Guten Tag from Michigan. 👋👋✌✌

Beeston castle is the one nearest to you, on the left of the shot. The more distant one is Peckforton Castle, a home and wedding venue in lovely grounds. They do do afternoon teas there…….!

Road fuel prices are at about $2.89 a gallon (USD-USG) 87 octane.
Is that deemed expensive in the States now? Been a while since I was there and had to buy petrol but that sounds like a substantial jump on the face of it? Isn’t that the way of the world though…
@@NarrowEscape1 I call it "Bidenflation." Butter is now over $4 a pound. It is sickening how the prices are skyrocketing! The gas prices are down from much higher. Before I went to boot camp back in 1976 I was pumping gas in a gas station for .32 cents a gallon. These prices are sickening to me as they are to many reasonable-minded people. But those who love Joey "the puppet" Biden don't mind the high prices. They are deranged!
You asked for fuel prices. I don't know the cost for marine use - I understand that commercial fishing boats get subsidised fuel, but I don't know about others. For road use RON95 petrol is about 34 or 35p/litre. Diesel is about 36p/litre. RON97 petrol is expensive though at 58p/litre. RON100 petrol is about 70p/litre, so only the racing lads use RON100.
HOLY COW - 36p/litre for diesel. Where on earth do you live...Saudi?? That is astonishing, truly astonishing!
@@NarrowEscape1 Malaysia. We were home to UK in September and had a hire car. Paying GBP1.50+ per litre made the knees shake a bit.

It’s one of the things about cruising so often - you end up with lots and lots of content to edit and lots of videos. Could be worse though as we know some channels are scrapping around for things to say and hashing videos together to keep up their ‘one a week’ or whatever…no such issues here 🤣🤣
You say about having a GoPro well I hate videos where they stick a camera on the front and then don't bother to tell you anything that's going on. Cruise videos they call them. I switch of after about 1 minute. As for KF's its been done already.
We agree with the ‘camera on the front and keep quiet’ but we suspect that suits some viewers. At the end of the day you make your choice about what you want to show and just put it out there!!

Mrs J’s tree is absolutely MINT. You usually see people’s trees and they look like someone has rocket launched tat at them but your trees both look classy and upmarket 👍
We’ve got a small tree for Josh which will hopefully be going up this weekend. No pressies for us though - we’ve decided to buy for Josh instead as he needs a few things to get him ready for cruising in 2024 and we can’t have both so Josh wins 🤣
